I just watched the gametrailers review for ToS 2. It seemed to be a little better then I thought it would be. I'll have to throw it on my Christmas list I guess... But I still hate the idea of a level cap for the TOS 1 characters.
...

It's just an Asian chick in a future cop uniform.

That's very brave, dallow.
I love a girl in a uniform.
I like her sister better.

And now that ninja dog mentioned she looked like an alien, that's all I see.
It's the cheekbones...

I'm no RR, but at least now you can decide for yourselves... :D
Pretty sure that's Michael Jackson...and his eye make up is running.

Nice, I got zew mad. I win.
So - any spare Banjo 360 codes out there? ;)

Well, I am looking for a pc harddrive if one could help a brother out...
I've got 2x 1 GB IDE HDDs and a 3 GB IDE HDD sitting on my desk that you can have for shipping. ;)

They are good paperweights.

I like the twisted eyebrow frosty :)

as for Mirrors Edge... I still don't think the game knows what it wants to be. I hope it has a second game where the look of the game is finally decided... it's too all over the place.

was genna play some gears but decided not to since I'll be reading Watchmen finally for the first time...

also, I should be on gears most of the day with a friend tomorrow at work, but no mic.

How the fuck can anyone give GTA4 anything above an 8 or maybe 8.5? Jesus Christ, the driving physics, repetitive missions, and shitty feel of controlling Niko on foot are too fucking big to ignore.

Mirrors Edge=awesome.
Played through the first 2 chapters, and I made some progress in the 3rd one.
The races (Time Trial) is pretty fun. It seems like there are lots of ways to get faster times, so that could get a lot of interest from me.
I can see myself playing again on Hard.
I thought you would like mirrors edge rr, since it uses the same crappy illustrator art style you use in itscut scenes.
lulzestity

yeah that's what I mainly hate about it... the game cutscenes remind me of certain car insurance commercials...

I assume that most of the scores are given relative to the rest of the GTA games, which in general handle much more horridly than IV does.

It's not that hard, if you access to Adobe Illustrator and five minutes of free time.

I guess. I mean, I still enjoy the game, it's just that I know I'll likely dump it once I get SR2 and do a bunch of the non-insane achievements.

Finally found it in me to remove Valkyria from my PS3 so I could make some progress in Resistance 2.

I'm sure I'll be back to Valkyria soon though, but probably not tonight. Going to go see Bond at midnight.

Fallout 3 won't work on my computer  Totally bummed out about that. Guess I'll just have to get it on PS3. Though that's never a bad thing. I'm just pissed that my laptop sucks for gaming. I think it may be time to invest in a desktop that I can upgrade as I go.

@the GTAIV hate: I'm with you on everything you said. Vice City > GTAIV. Fact. ;)

I might throw Oblivion in tonight. Just so I can say I played something.

Resistance 2 brings the bland, and the suck.

Gears brings the fun, and the party, and the good times.

Today I bought the following things with $70 cash expenditure, thanks to Hollywood Video.

Wii Fit, Sam and Max Season 1, Call of Duty 5 on 360 and DS, Ninja Town DS, a 1600 Points Card, and Ninja Gaiden 2 used.

I've still got $15 left over. ;) and the Wii Fit got sold already!

Sorry, I forgot that you played the demo for Resistance, which means you definitely have enough information to not only judge it, but Resistance 2 as well.
It's not that hard, if you access to Adobe Illustrator and five minutes of free time.
show me.

+1 on the usual brak hating on anybody.

also, GTA4 was good... as I state alot, it's the only time I side with most press sites in terms of reviews. the public can't seem to appreciate it while the press does. sure you can give me a standard answer or list of why but at least for once couldn't we be wrong? whatever... I'm bringing up a black hole topic that leads to nowhere.

I hear enough from the enthusiast press to know that Resistance 2 is behind the curve and very old hat, in single player at least.

I don't want to and don't need to play it. Thanks.

Thanks man but I think I'll pass. Saw a deal for an 80 on newegg for $37. Shipping would be devastating on one of those.

Wonder if its a good time to upgrade ps3 hd as well...

edit: as far as gta4 goes, I liked it but it was missing something fun wise it seemed (and areas weren't distinct as it went from city to city landscape) My opinion why it's got rave reviews, aside from the established GTA name:
the american dream storyline leading to unfulfillment in life

And where did you hear that? From some 1up writers opinion on the game months before it was finished and released, right?

It's been getting great response, of course had it been on the 360 you'd be gushing all over it, but it's not so it's easy to see why you hate it.

Anyways, turns out I'm near the end of the campaign, so I'll get to beat it tonight and return to Valkyria tomorrow! Awesome game so far though, love the boss fights.

Listen to Gamers with Jobs podcast this week. For more reasons than that.

Shawn Elliot is awesome. His boss is Ken Levine.

We all suck comparatively.
@the GTAIV hate: I'm with you on everything you said. Vice City > GTAIV. Fact. ;)
No. And to think I used to like you... :p
Vice city was GTA 3 v1.5. Just like SR2 is SR 1.5 (an SR was GTA:SA 1.5...).
The only real jumps in the series were going from GTA:VC to GTA:SA and from GTA:SA to GTA4.
While GTA4's driving was no fun and felt like a chore... once you got used to it, the game was pretty great. The morality and choices never panned out in the epic way they hyped it to, but it did feel like the next generation of GTA, a true successor to the crown.
show me.
I no longer have access Illustrator.
+1 on the usual brak hating on anybody.
Oh. Is that what that was?

+ 2 for brak. expected.

my favorite pre GTAIV GTA game probably stands as Liberty City Stories. People love vice city I think due to nostalgia. thank the soundtrack. Liberty City was always the right size IMHO, even in GTAIV. San Andreas and Vice City never felt like they melded well with the gameplay.

watching Baron Manchausen. odd movie but I realize how much of a pimp the man is.

It was a joke. :) Nobody wants these damn HDDs. I don't want them.

The 1 GB HDDs are from 1995, and they probably still work. I need to recycle them or something.
