most of the guys who make it are the programers and artists so it makes sense. smart indie dev teams are ones who have one main programmer and one main artists unless ur good at both. Castle Crashers is a good example of 2 guys doing 2 different things.

What a dumb thing to say?

I finished Fallout 3 tonight! Overall an excellent game, my favorite of the year so far. That ending was was pretty unexpected and not very satisfying, but I loved the game overall. Will play it again to get the many quests and towns I missed. 55 hours when it was all done.

I hope there's good DLC somehow. REAL SPOILER FOLLOWS
Especially considering they kill off your character in the end.. I was hoping the DLC would continue or fill out the story, but DLC is likely to just be new areas and such, now.

Yeah those community games are awesome. It's like Little Big Planet, except not a fake version of user content.. and they can actually sell their creations. And they don't cost $60 to get at!

Community Games > LBP. As far as user generated and creativity goes, anyway. LBP is a better platformer in general, but as a user generated tool, very limited and very elementary. I might pick up Weapon of Choice soon. That was really cool.
 
Back from my conference and looking forward to get back to gears 2. Will probably hop on and play a bit of single player now, then have some shit I need to do this evening before I can get back to it.
 
I heard about that emerald palace level or whatever getting taken down.. that's bullshit. It looked like one of the better levels I've seen made in that game..

Seems to be Sony's MO this generation. Have something go right, and then squash it like a dirty, dirty bug.

That's the reason I'm selling it. Been on the fence, but that sold it. If they're not going to keep the good shit up I have no reason to keep the game.

I got AC: City Folk today. Should be registering a friend code later in the week; have to set up my town and get a USB extension cable (for my keyboard) first (no, I didn't get WiiSpeak).

Unfortunately, I no longer have my Wild World town, so I can't transfer my resident from that. Have to figure out how to get the same character face/hair again, though I guess I could just make a new Wild World town and bring my resident over that way. Also don't know what I'm gonna name the new town...
 
So me and my brother just finished co-op Gears (the first one) on hardcore. RAAM was a lot easier with two people than solo. However , he didn't end up unlocking the "Can't get enough of you Dom" achievement. Any idea why not?

The only thing I assume that would prevent it from unlocking would be not completing all the acts , which we have done. Is there any way to check and see if maybe one of the acts didn't register as being completed? Or is there something else that might be causing the problem?
 
Passed on Operation Darkness and Spectral Force.
I'm going to find a couple of the crappy games I have the trade for $8 at EB and grab MK vs. DC tomorrow for $10.
Or sometime this week.

Picked up 2 Blu-rays after work today, Kung Fu Panda (Bitchez!) and Reservoir Dogs.
 
Ok, I got two extra Banjo codes from work. Since TFN was the one that made me look for them in the first place, he gets one. As for the other one, I think I'll have some fun with it XD

If you want the other Banjo code you simply have to to post in the GGT about your favorite Koei game. You have to be sincere, so sarcasm will get you nowhere. Also you have to be an active member of the GGT. No lurkers. I'll choose the best one.
 
Persona 3! Koei published it in Europe.

I've never actually played a Koei game other than the Dynasty Warriors Gundam demo.

my cousin had like every ps2 one and it would always be fun to play
its always fun to kill a near endless wave of enemies especially in co op

Dynasty Warriors 2.

I thought it was great how they changed the direction so much from the first one, and invented a brand new genre, plus the PS2 was the first system where something like DW2 was possible.

Dynasty Warriors Gundam !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you know why ;) But really, it was awesome to fight against all those zakus! i am hoping that the second one will have almost all the gundam variations and maybe...some newtype slaping? XD
 
Gemfire. I haven't played it in years, but I was addicted to the NES version. I put many hours into it. And then I saw then SNES version and I had to have it. It was awesome. I beat that game with every family.

Damn Gears 2 is pure lulz sometimes. I love it. :) My face hurts from all of the laughing. Suicide boomshot on Rei FTW!!
 
My favorite KOEI game is that dynasty warriors's demo I played about 7000000 times before i had any games for my PS2. Never ended up getting a DW game lol.

Yanya Cabilista ties because I always used to look at it at hastings and be all, that game looks cool as shit, but never bought it because I was 10.

If I get a 360 what games should I get besides Gears 2, Fable 2, and Fallout 3? Also, The Shopping Channel has the holiday bundle with Forza 2, Ultimate Alliance, Kameo, and the arcade collection. Are those any good or trade fodder? Do you need the disc to actually play the arcade games?

Oh ho. Time to try and creep in on this.

Dynasty Warriors 2 on PS2. I got my PS2 for my birthday and with it like 4 or 5 Jampacked or Jumpacked or whatever name was on those damn demo discs. On one of them was DW2. I played the demo two or three times, then had my dad go and grab it for me. I had a blast with it. Nothing like riding elephants and horses and trampling dudes. And Dynasty Warriors on PSP was also really good to me. Probably my second favorite because of the amount of play time I got out of it.

I played so much LBP with the lady this weekend. Problem is she gets pissed at how the "difficulty" is at times. Like... she got so pissed it was unbelievable. Then as a result of her being pissed, I got pissed. But once we both relaxed a bit, we lawl'd at the fact that our relationship could hilariously end because of a video game.

And I'm eagerly counting down the days to Chrono Trigger DS. And I'm toying with the idea of buying a PSP again(if I pull the trigger, it'll be my 3rd purchase of one)

Kameo, MUA, and F2 are really fun games. You should give them a go before you consider getting rid of them.
 
Bioshock, The Darkness, Eternal Sonata, Tales Of Vesperia, Gears 1, Beautiful Katamari, Mass Effect, Fable II and Viva Pinata.
If you like movies, pick up Scene It? 2. Its basically the first one but does things better and has online play. I need to grab that soon. And You should PLAY all those games your getting. Kameo is decent, MUA is great, and I haven't played F2 yet.
Aren't you getting the Holiday Bundle that has Kung Fu Panda and Indiana Jones?
I don't know if the shopping Channel has a good deal or not, but Best Buy (Canada) is giving out Viva Pinata AND Rainbow Six Vegas 2 with an Elite. Its also giving out Assassins Creed and Crackdown with a Pro Console.
 
Its the holiday bundle that comes with Lego Indy and Kung-Fu Panda. I have 4 options, TSC bundle with those 6 games, a bundle from FS with Stranglehold and Dark Sector, the BB bundle with Assassin's Creed and Crackdown, and getting it for $240 w/ Walmart discount.

@Pete you are my favourite GGT member because you listen to 311.

It was a very good episode. This season has been great so far.

Got a couple hours of Gears in afterwards. Stopped at the start of Act 5 on my solo, normal difficulty play through. With any luck I'll have time to polish it off this week, and maybe get through the rest (or most of the rest) of my hardcore co-op play through with my buddy this weekend.

Nah, but I'm working on a midterm that's due tomorrow. I cannot focus enough to get it done. I've got 7 essay questions left to do. If someone were to put a gun to my head right now and tell me to work undistracted or they'll blow my brains out, I'd be killed. At least I can copy/paste my notes :D
