I'm back on the Mother 3 train, and it's FIRST CLASS!

Yeah I put about 4 hours in when the translation came out, then Fallout 3 came out. Yeah.

I'm not a huge fan of the new Chrono Trigger translation. Mostly because I'm so familiar with a lot of the old quirky lines. Really missed seeing "YES INDEED!" as something someone says when attacking.
 
How can SSFIITHDR fail? Play it with the 360 controller! I can't use characters with charge moves because I can't do supers... half the characters are now useless. :(

My 360 pad is super tight now with the Controller S Dpad in it. Works so much better. Are you listening, MS? Fix that fucking shit.

You forgot the lack of a sound test, a staple of SF games in the SNES era.

Got a Play-asia coupon. I might use it for Beatmania IIDX 15. I keep forgetting that shit's coming out.

CT isn't a long game. You could easily get to that point in 20 hours or less. I can finish the game, doing pretty much all the sidequests, in about 25 hours.
 
Wow. I haven't played the game in years so in some places I honestly don't remember some things.

I'm playing it very leisurely this time around.
 
I want to get to the new dungeons so trying to get through faster than usual. I think I'm going slow this time because last time on my cart I had beaten it with all side quests at 11 hours.
 
Yeah, I'm gonna take my time on it when I have a chance to crack open the DS copy of the game. So glad Square nailed this port. Chrono Trigger is definitely one of my personal faves... I still think the jailbreak bit is one of my favorite parts of any game... I also love when you first wind up in the future... man, there's so much great shit here.

I can't wait to pick up Chrono Trigger. I played it a few times on my Dreamcast if ya know what I mean, but I just can't play rpg's like that on consoles, so I'm glad I can load it up on my DS. How long is the game typically?

And I've really only been playing LBP lately. I'm spending a lot of time with the lady and that's all we've been doing.

Yes, the jailbreak part is one of the most memorable parts of any video game for me. As well as the part where you're on the airship and have to escape, and that other part where...yeah, you're right. There's so much great shit.

Sucks I gotta wait till Xmas to play it, cause my brother told me not to buy it, "hint hint" he said, winking at me melodramatically over the phone. But I got plenty to keep me occupied till then, so I guess it's cool.

Kinda stuck in Valkyria Chronicles now, but I guess I'll play the skirmishes I've been skipping and get back to the main quest after I've gotten some more XP and upgrades. This game is certainly my RPG GOTY so far.

Far Cry 2 for the PS3 dropped to 25$ today on amazon. It's a tempting deal since I'm in need of something other than RPGs. But I also just ordered $70 worth of anime...

It's been a few years since I played DDs1 but 40 sounds about right.

What's wrong with Star Ocean? I've been thinking about picking it up or atleast throwing it on my christmas list.

Spent most of yesterday playing Force Unleashed, well worth $20 IMO. Just bit on Sonic Unleashed for $21 on DOTD today.

Also found out that another Amazon package got stolen off my doorstep last night, it was only an SD card worth

I got through both DDS 1 and 2 in about 24-25 hours each. They were both like... half the length of Nocturne for me.

My trick with them was to cast water on them first because it's the weakest magic. Then quickly kill one of them with the Spire double tech.
 
Oh man, I was at my friend's house yesterday, and we played the Fusion Frenzy demo on Halo 1. Seriously, that game is a piece of shit, but Twisted System is what you play that demo for. That's the one where you have to jump and duck through obstacles. But I always win, because my friends are lame! What a shame.
 
I played some SF2HD with a buddy who probably hadn't played the game since we got the original for the SNES when it came out. We decided to write a hentai manga called "Dhalsim and Chun-li Make a Porno."
 
Today's plan, games all day. Nothing else.

Basically, the usual. Maybe one day I'll have a job and/or woman so I won't have so much time to game. That day isn't today though. ;)

Same from amazon. Finished all the normal side quests and working on one of the new ones now. Not as exciting as it should be lol. Fetch quests galore.
