Yeah SimCity will probably drop in price eventually.

I'd get warfare soon though, it's on sale for $5. They're working on incorporating multiplayer, and there's hundreds of fan-made maps to download for free. Once multiplayer gets added, they'll probably go back up to $10. It controls really well. A very competent portable RTS. Better than I've played on any other portable, or console.
 
I miss having two iPhones.

While waiting for a sale on the first gen, the lady friend and I would play Scramboni online.

So I've been playing Fallout 3 for a while, and I just found out about the hotkeys in it. So now I have my red lightsaber on 1 and my hunting rifle on 2. Now I can pop heads off at a distance, or fuck some dudes up when they rush me. It's great.

I'm thinking when I'm done with it, I'll try my hand at some modding. I'm thinking a fort full of super mutants for peeps to kill, because I love killing them.

And I'm a little late to the party, but here's my list of shit I liked in 2008

Best of what I've played
DMC4 - Best action game I played all year.
SSF2T HD Remix - Just awesome.
SCIV - I'm a fan, and I have peeps to play with that I actually want to play with.
MGS4 - Again, I'm a fan. I just want more areas like the first 2 though.
Crysis Warhead - It's one hell of a ride.
Fallout 3 - It's great. VATS make it awesome.

Dissapointments
Ninja Gaiden 2 - It felt rushed and lacked the magic of NG1.
Gears 2 - MP is a glitchfest, and charging $10 for 3 maps instead of patching the shit is ridiculous. SP is boring as well, yeah I'm probably alone on that.
360 dpad - fuck this piece of shit.

Bear in mind I haven't played Persona 4 yet, though it'll probably end up being the best game of the year.

Yeah, he'd probably make more that way. I paypaled $17 and will get $11 back when he gets the game back, so it would be a pretty secure way for him to keep making money on it and have it paid for (with more than he was asking for) if someone doesn't send it back.

Okay, I've heard bad Ebay excuse stories as to why sellers don't send the shit, but this is the worst yet:

Please HELP! We have done everything possible to regain our standing and 98% rating, now out of work makes ebay our only source of income for our family. We are not known to be slow or nonresponsive, understand we had been behind in emails since our daughter was hit by a car, popping off her safety helmet breaking the side mirror, in hospital 10 days, she is type1 insulin dependant diabetic the accident has stressed her condition she is now covered in rashlike sores that after 3 biopsy tests, specialists call diabetes effecting her immune system attacking her skin. This has been a trying time for us. ebay has since suspended our accounts, we have fixed the few problems we had and have been taken by a couple of overseas buyers, with no help from ebay or paypal, so please find it in your heart to leave us a positive feedback or we will be facing losing her, our home and everything that matters to us in life.

That's every possible base covered. I mean, holy shit, I guarantee you that the Saturn s-video cable I got my money back for (since it was never sent) wasn't going to pay for their diabetic fucking daughter.
 
Just get one. They are all the same from what my friend says. Hes played them all. Lots of dudes and stuff. I dunno. Didn't seem as fun as AoE or CnC when I watched him play.

Hey yal. Add me up on dem Sexbox if you want to play Gears 2 or Sega Tennis for real.

Persona 4 has engulfed my day. SWEET.

And I picked up FES after getting rid of my old copy of P3 ages ago.
I'll probably play that over by my dad's place.

And I'm yet to buy Chrono Trigger. Damn me.
But I do have a stack of cash, which is nice! :D
 
P4 is kind of a disappointment to me. Granted I've only played it for an hour or so, but that's the whole thing. With P3 once I started it I was hooked, but with P4, I started it, but I'm like "I'll get to it later".
 
Well it takes a good 4 hours to get into the story. I agree that it doesn't hook as fast, but I think it is better than P3 in regards to "wanting-to-play-it-ive-ness"

Dang it is taking me a long time to get used to the 360 controller. I don't know if I'll ever be able to play FPS on it. My hand felt cramped after 30 mins of Gears. Have you guys had any trouble adapting to a controller?
 
forgot to say I also saw a woman have her entire chest rip open in front of me with her heart still hopping around.

i'm also going to say i smelled burning human flesh and bones for the first time today.

this is all in real life, not movie/game shit >_

Yea, the PS3 controller made my hands cramp, I wasn't even able to play Resistance on it. I didn't waste my time, I sold my PS3. Maybe you should sell your 360.

Well, the Wii depending on the game.

I had no problem playing No More Heroes, but my dad bought COD: WAW. Wow, that is worse controlling game I've ever played.

I just played P4 for an hour today after letting it sit for a week or so. I had little idea what was going on. I would try to avoid that. I have the day off tomorrow so it'll be many hours of Persona 4 (I hope) so I can get back into it. I want to beat it by the 12th and only have to work 2 days next week so I think it can be done.

Can you guys recommend any cheap games for 360?

yeah, my uncle is one of the top cardiac surgeons in the Caribbean. today I went to see an entire surgery. I basically stood over the body the entire time while they ripped apart the chest and burned through organs. it didn't bother me at all other than the smell of the burnt flesh which is hard to describe... it's like a smell of meat I've never smelled before.

i'll definitely say it was interesting to see a human heart beating right in front of me.

nothing like trauma center.

is Stuntman Ignition considered a good game that's cheap now because when I rented it I loved it... then again I was always a fan of Driver (before it crapped out) and Stuntman...

Stuntman on PS2 was definitely hardcore as fuck... I don't know how but I got 100% everything in that game. I think I even have a FAQ on Gamefaqs for it >_

Not sure what, if anything to play tonight. I may do more hunter leveling in WoW, or maybe I will play some R&C Size Matters or watch National Treasure 2 on PSP. Or maybe do some DS RPG'ing? Or continue Fallout 3?
 
I did some wiring on my arcade stick! I've got the terminals all hooked up for when the buttons get here, and daisy chained the ground wires together. I've never soldered anything before, so it was pretty fun. I thought I wouldn't be able to do it, but I found some bare .110 terminals and soldered them to the bare wires. I'm going to hot glue the whole mess afterwards for security.

It's finally coming together! Woo!

sidenote, cleaned my room today and found my old copy of D for ps1. Anybody want it? Needs a good home and i dont mind the extra cash XD.
