Whoa, what's this about the PSP thing? Because while there's like... no good PSP games, there's still a couple that I'd like to play through again, and being able to play on a real display with a dual shock rather than the dink-ass PSP would be fantastic. Can this be done even on the original PSP model?
ic but after a little digging i think i'll go with these
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=463383351&pf_rd_i=507846

the right price and they do exactly what i need them to do
Those are great. I've had them for about 2 years and love them. Comfortable and sound great, lots of reviews say they sound better than many head phones that cost over $100. Of course these are $60 headphones (see the MSRP on your link), Amazon just has them on sale often.
I never got that when Zack would use Air Strike. I know he was talking to Tseng, but why was he saying, "I'm trying, I'm TRYING!"?
 I always wondered the same thing. It sounds so whiny--like "I'm TRYING to beat these guys, but I need you to blow them up because fighting more might mess up my hair."

Bah, since my 360 is gone I've been living off older games, but now my GameCube decides to not work either.

I keep getting "An error has occurred. Turn the power off..." at random all over the place. I'm guessing this is a hardware problem since it happens in multiple games. Why would it suddenly screw up for no apparent reason? I hardly ever use it to begin with, unless it just feels neglected.
 I always wondered the same thing. It sounds so whiny--like "I'm TRYING to beat these guys, but I need you to blow them up because fighting more might mess up my hair."
I thought it was because Tseng says something like "Giving up?" and then Zack is like "I'm TRYING, I'm TRYING" because Tseng implies his failure for calling in the airstrike?

Okay, Dracula was way too fucking easy. I decided to equip the Sun Ring and Death Ring and then use the glyphs Melio Hasta, Nitesco, and Dominus Agony.

What could've turned into a thirty to forty minute boss fight ended up lasting exactly ten seconds, even got the Dracula medal for no damage.

@ Corro

Aria of Sorrow was really good...almost forgot about it actually. I didn't care for DoS too much though. Then again, maybe it is time to actually go back and play it again. The last time I played it I was much younger, things do change as you age. :D

Notthat I am complaining, I can never get enough 2D Castlevania.

@ Dmaul

I understand man, one reason I actually liked it was that some of the levels played out like some of the more old-school entries in the series. That's not going to be everybody's cup of tea though. :p

And I agree, I didn't give a damn about the villager quests. A lot of it is based on luck in collecting the goods that you need to actually go forward in the game. I could probably finished the game days ago if it wasn't for those damned fetch quests.
I dunno about that, hanky mc hankerson.

Maybe it's your reward for playing the game on PC.

Just saying ;)

The ending is pretty shit anyway. It might be doing you a favor by making you go explore the wasteland more.

I tried that PSP thing that lets you play it on PC. I think you can use a Dual Shock or other controller too. That's pretty cool. Playing PSP games from the memory stick on PC with a 360 controller. Mana would have a heart attack.
Yes, I'm using it on the original PSP. You need a custom firmware on your PSP though. I haven't used a pad yet, but I'm going to try my 360 controller today.
Zew is that PSP Remote Joy?
I figured you would have heard of that before since months old.

Unless it's an app that works with Remote Joy...
I never really tried it.

Pics of PSP on TVs with it just look good.

Yes. It's RemoteJoy Lite. I've never heard of it until last night. Someone should have told me.

Whelp, Gears2 co-op campaign is finally done--that game is awesome!

I also finally registered all my Nintendo games at Club Nintendo. Any suggestions on what kind of prize I should get? How is Game And Watch?

You can probably find plenty of copies of Game and Watch Collection on eBay in a couple of months, I would just save your coins for something more exciting.

At least that is what I am doing. I'll get it off eBay and then use my coins to get other stuff instead. :p

Gave Castlevania OoE another play, I'm going to put it on Goozex. Just not my cup of tea with all the fetch quests and the bosses being to hard for my tastes since I have no fun with pattern memorization any more.

Have The World Ends With You coming from Goozex, would rather just move on to that than forcing myself to play something I'm not digging. Plus OoE is first in line so it should get matched up today or tomorrow--which is good as Monday is the only day I'll likely have time to make it to the post office this week.
Are you running forward and fighting or just hanging back behind the pride?
I tried both. The second barrier is invisible. I don't know if it's supposed to be. It won' let me through, but you can sneak through on the right side. Who knows, I'll just try waiting longer. Sit behind him and take a shit, kill the dudes and take a shit, whatever.

Yeah, I heard the ending is shit. I planned on exploring more anyway. Oh well, maybe I'll have to mod the fuck out of it. ;)

Playing it on PC is the shit. It fucking flies and looks pimp.

Already matched up for Castlevania on goozex--$35 in points for a $30 game that was a gift. Love that site. Convenient as hell, and makes it easy to try out games for little to know cost out of pocket.

Ok, so I bought a 3 month Live card because I don't want to pay with my debit card anymore (no money in the bank). I get home and try to activate it, but it says the payment option is not valid! WTF is this shit? I put down my hard earned cash on this pre-paid shit, but it doesn't work, and even worse, I CAN'T GET MY fuckING DEBIT CARD OFF MY fuckING XBOX! I'm seriously about to start pulling my hair out just thinking about calling customer service. I seem to be stuck in a vortex of bullshit and confusion! WHAT CAN I DO GGT?!?!

I finished my 360 stick!!

WOOO!!! It works perfectly too!

Pics coming tomorrow probably!

Well, I completed the main quest in Fallout 3 after some patience.
Liberty Prime finally got unstuck and moved forward. His ass got stuck again near the end. The ending wasn't as bad as everyone said.

Overall, it's great. I really enjoyed it. Took me 24 hours, 50 minutes to finish it. So I've got more to do and see.

Time to do some more roaming. :)

Wow, yeah definetly more roaming. It took me 55 to do the main quest and I thought I skipped a lot of stuff.

wow, deleting a huge blog entry is frustrating. probably worse than deleting an email, since personalized stuff is easier to remember than editorialized stuff.

anyway, if anyone wants to check it out, I'm writing some entries on the best underdog successes of 2008. Serious blog entries, not my usual junk ;)

Yeah, definitely. I did some roaming already, mostly killing super mutants and looking for equipment. My friend is at 45 hours and he's still working on the main quest. If you just go straight for the main quest, it's not that long. I did for the last half of it or so.

I've only completed nine quests and numerous side quests. I'm at about 33 hours. I think I'm going to try for the platinum trophy on the game.

Did you paint it? Is there art on it?

I'm excited to see haha

Hello GGT. I'm back. Again. No more traveling for me for awhile, hopefully.

Rune Factory 2's story has finally, finally picked up. Also, I've started thinking about the games I want to get through this year... will do a blog post about that later.
There doesn't seem to be a way to fully delete my credit card information completely. I'm going to to have to get on the horn and bitch my way to the top.
Yeah, its weird they do not have a purge credit data app on the xbox....I had to call support and it took about 30 minutes, they had to verify my info twice and then they took my credit card off file.

So I finally updated the Touch to the "fun with apps" software.

I've downloaded:

Facebook
MySpace
AIM
Topple
XBLFriends
Backgrounds
Some free solitare app i don't know the name of
Tap Tap Revolution
Crystal Defenders Lite
Space Buster Lite
Topple

What else should I check out?

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Burn.

EDIT: Puma I love you.

Is it like Oblivion where you're kind of better of polishing off the main quest first? In Oblivion it was better as then all the Oblivion gates are gone, so there's not random demons running around etc., so it was easier to focus on the guilds etc. Plus you get pretty decent armor as a reward for completing the main quest.

I sold Samurai 7 :)
Its very exciting.
Vikings game tomorrow, GET PUMPED!

I'm unemployed now, so I might sell off some anime/games to make some money.
Thinking stuff like Captain Herlock, R.O.D.(movie), Noir and some other stuff.

LMK :D

played some Halo 3 with some friends today....surprisenly it was fun

back from puerto rico... tired as hell but playing rack band 2 with one of my arms asleep since I slept on it when I took a nap earlier today >_<

Verdict of this Trip to Puerto Rico :

- Food is amazing, but will make you fat in no time
- Everywhere I go I see women that are/look like pornstars. I'm not kidding when I say all you see when outside there is female flesh and very nice ass more abundant than water.
- MILF Latinas everywhere

so what did I learn? Puerto Ricans have great food and asses.

also, I'm pretty far in Suikoden since I've been playing it evey night in Puerto Rico... damn. Is it just me or did RPGs during the PS1 era kill off more support/main characters than nowadays?

oh and Azu, I hope dolphins win, but I doubt it.

The dolphins will probably get obliterated, but I don't care too much because they aren't playing the Vikings.

Any idea when Oscar Nominees are announced? I don't really care normally but I seriously hope that The Dark Knight and Wall E get Best Picture nods.

RefusedChaos, I'll let you know for sure :)

Man, I think my PS3 just broke on me! In the middle of playing Fallout it froze and I restarted the system and the game does not show up in the XMB, I take it out , goes back in, then I just get the "bubble" in the corner.Cd's, DVD's won't work either. I've had this system since Nov. of last year, brand new, taken care of well, now this happens!

Dead Blu-Ray drives are becoming quite common from what I hear.

What sucks is that if this had happen a month or two ago I would be covered under warranty. Hopefully I'll be able to convince SONY to fix it for free since it's close to the warranty. But I doubt it..
try reinstalling the firmwire..some say that helped
I thought about that also, but I think it's the disk drive. I don't know if firmware will have anything to do with it, I did not have any FW issues in the past. But, it might be worth a try. I just have to back-up everything correct?

well the freeze might of messed up a blu drive part of the firmwire...back everthing up just incase..and just reinstall the firmwire

Finished the Mage's Guild quest to get my 1000 achievement points in Oblivion. Tried to clear some random quests out of my log, but the were annoying fetch quests so I'm not going to bother. Will have the expansion next week and play Knights of the Nine then do Shivering Isle to get the other 250 achievement points.

First game I've gotten 1000 on. I have to say it really did achievements right for this type of game by just requiring you to beat the game and all the main side quest lines. No nonsense like Mass Effect where you'd have to play through several times to get them all with the silly Ally, weapon/spell achievements etc.

I don't care about gamerscore in general, but when achievements are tied to quest lines like this it was definitely a little extra incentive to do them all. But I've never had motivation to try for the very specific ones in Mass Effect and most other games.

My friend's PS3 did the same exact thing. Time to give Sony a call.
Fully upgraded the MKIII in No More Heroes, on to rank 1's battle....tomorrow. gotta quit before my eyes fall out.
if ur playing NMH, then more than ur eyes will fall out. If you pay attention to some stuff in rank 1 fight, you might lose more than eyes.

Best Imperfect GotY

SW:TFU can be frustrating to the point of controller-throwing. There are moments when you'll get stuck in a never-ending series of enemy hits that you can't break or reverse out of, sort of but not quite like what happens in Lost Colonies. Then there are also some bizarre graphical bugs where your avatar will completely disappear, and some just sloppy design choices overall. Really too bad, 'cause when the game clicks, it's fun as hell.

I'm thinking of dumping this game. :/
