someone on gaf already got a pic of the ACTUAL 12 year old girl!

:whistle2:k

I'm late to this party once again. Part of me really doesn't want to ask... But what is this advertising?
And she does sort of look like a midget.

I'm loving DQIV. I'm actually not trying to rush through it now. Though I'm not sure what the story is yet. It's like a fucking Tarintino movie or something.

Fallout 3 is also very excellent. I'm pissed I put this game off for so long. Should I use ammo sparingly? Shooting people's heads off is too good to not do it every time.
By the end of FO3 I had more ammo than I knew what to do with.
That's good to know. I thought I read somewhere that you should ration your ammo... I'm glad that thought was wrong. :twoguns:

That might be the problem with FO3.

I would like to struggle the whole game through. Surviving, rather than being a god at the end.

You can mod the PC version to set something up like that.
Got past Act 1 of MGS4 earlier...finally. MGS4 is supposed to be really hard, right? Because I've died about 10 times so far, and I feel like I shouldn't have died that many times.

Oh, I added you on PSN DarthPuma.
MGS4 is ridiculously easy.

Man, I am playing the shit out of Nuts and Bolts lately. I got it from my parents for xmas and almost returned it. I wasn't super excited about the demo when I played it and the mixed reviews made me a little nervous but now I am glad I opened it.

If you aren't into creating the vehicles, you'll probably not like the game, but I'm really having fun creating stuff and I didn't think I would be.
MGS4 is ridiculously easy.
It depends on the difficulty. The hardest difficulty (Big Boss Extreme) is quite difficult.

So...I decided to pick up my brother's copy of GTAIV (PS3 version) and play that. Why? Probably the trophies. Although I don't expect to get the Platinum. Also, I just felt bored.

I wrote a post all about building my 360 arcade stick.

Here's a photo for you kiddos who don't want to venture into that scary and dark alley, though.

IMG_0013.jpg

It's not the prettiest stick ever, but it's awesome to use. It needs art on the panel, finishing, and paint yet. Then I'll be satisfied. Oh and a speaker wire adapter to plug through the headset into the PCB.

Yeah but it fits nicely in my lap. And gives plenty of room to rest your wrists. It kinda needed that space for the PCB too. It just means it's solid and doesn't move around so much too.
That seems...really big for an Arcade Stick. Especially the bottom part.
Yeah, why so large?

Looks great other than that though. Good job :)

Ah I see. Makes sense now.

Yeah I considered that too.

I know of a place I can get some bitchin sublimated art on aluminum that would probably look good under the plexiglass, but probably would also look odd with the wood and also might make the panel too thick again for the buttons to screw on, as they're secure, but close now.

It's like what I did with my PSP here:

But that also means drilling holes in aluminum cleanly somehow and I'm not confident I can do that with the tools I have at my apartment.

I'm shocked that EA is going to have its' own Home space. I pray for a Burnout Paradise space. That'd be awesome.

Oh, and LBP sold 1.3 million so far apparently. Well, 1.3 million people have played it. :(

Good for LBP.

And over $1 million worth of goods have been sold in Home.

Gamers may hate it, but the casuals are loving it.

I dont think the number of casuals that own PS3s couldve done that on their own. Unless casuals have been parading around disguised as hardly core all this time...

It's like the idolmaster situation in Japan. 10 otakus bought $20 million in DLC.
I was legitimately expecting an LP joke... but then I remembered we weren't talking about themes. ;)
Hehe, he is pretty bad about that.
However, I've yet to buy any content for Home, a theme, or a gamerpic.

lol at that douchebag trying to post "deep philosophical articles" in the general gaming board.

That guy was a real pain in the ass. Glad they removed that crap.

*sigh* To add insult to my recent Live injury, everytime I sign somebody in (i.e. four times during Rock Band) my Xbox reminds me to update my payment information and that my account has been suspended. Wonderful, Microsoft. Wonderful.

Seriously. What a douche.

Just picked up Fracture in that CC clearance. Anyone in the RI area might want to check out the CC in Cranston. Tons of stuff left because no one bothered to put the sale price on anything.

I picked up Resistance 2 and Valkyria Chronicles today.

Not sure what to start first.

I'm sure I'll like VC more, so, I might save it for last.
Hehe, he is pretty bad about that.

I certainly hope not considering you refuse to make a 360 avatar. (for a reason I cant comprehend)
I was so disappointed in Resistance 2. I liked the first one a lot, and the second one was nowhere near as good.
I'm in the midst of playing it right now. It's fun but its lacking a major level of detail both in graphics and audio .. especially for a flagship title. No biggy to me though .. I play stuff like Conan and Dark Sector. :)

Its definitely still a good game. I just had some fairly high expectations for it.
I certainly hope not considering you refuse to make a 360 avatar. (for a reason I cant comprehend)
Why bother? I can't even use him yet.

However, I'll make one for Uno, as I hear it has some kind of Avatar patch, and it's more fun to play against my friend (as soon as he gets it) with some kind of visual representation of each other.

Yeah, I was playing a bit more of R2 last night myself. I dunno what it is, but that game is definitely lacking something that makes it stand out. I think Mak is right about the game not having the same level of presentation as the biggest top tier FPSes--I'd go so far as to say even Gears 1. I want to like it, but it's pretty disappointing to me so far. Right now, part of me wants me to think it's a good game overall, but I have no attachment at all to the story or characters. And I don't know why, but the game just has this...roboticness or hollowness in the gameplay--like when I play, I feel like I'm just going through the motions even in the parts where it's supposed to be exciting or surprising...

Speaking of the PSP, I want another Chains of Olympus.

I think I really noticed it when I got to that Recreational Park area. The ground is a solid gray color and the cars are all solid colors with no detail or polish. It almost feels like it the game was meant to go through another "pass" but gut rushed out the door instead.

I'd believe that, really. Seems like there's a whole layer of graphical textures missing from the game, either by design or by proxy.

Aww shit fuck yeah! Skate 2 demo is so fucking hot! damn I love this!

I already loved it and then I saw they had Ricta wheels... that took me into unknown happy territory. Ricta Wheels had a big chunk of my skating life when I use to do it. I am happy!!!!!!!!!

can't wait for the end of this month :)
