Am I mistaken (it's been awhile), but is Resistance 2 uglier than the first? :whistle2:?
I don't know about uglier but there's certainly no graphical improvement from the first.

That is correct.

Zewone: Exchange it for Motorstorm or Pacific Rift, unless you hate racing games.

That was my favorite PS3 game. It had a good, out of control feel to it. I wish 360 had a racing game that played like that. Pure was close, but I didn't like doing tricks, and all it had was ATVs.

Motorstorm is fun!

Also, doing a weeks worth of math homework in one sitting is pretty lame, but it was only five hours since its the first week of class. Don't think I'll be able to do this next week.
I'm sorry, dallow. I don't think I'll be able to finish Resistance 2. It's really bad.

I'm going to exchange it at GS tomorrow for LBP or something else (not sure yet).
Haha, no problem. LBP seems much better.
SoT is better, but TT is still a good game. Unlike WW which is just terrible.
I never got to TT but WW was >>>>>> SoT. Mainly for the combat, in which you could actually have some semblance of combos and fighting -- and it's been awhile, but I believe the puzzles were better. SoT was too easy with the puzzles and too aggravating with the combat. Enemies were on constant block. UGH.

I agree with both statements.
When you pre-order on Amazon, they don't charge you until the items ships, right?
yep
i have both sticks and a pad on preorder atm

though after reading a few posts here im leaning towards keeping the regular fightstick and canceling the TE and possibly the fight pad :bomb:

Murder me.......

dfzzhe.gif

Dithered smoke effects, cheap blur effect makes the textures on anything but the gun look muddy, no motion object blur on the gun, dithered spark when the gun is fired, gun is off center to the left, tiny gif size makes it look much more action packed than the scene really is.

Overall, I give that gif a 2/10 or 1/10 when compared to Crysis running on minimum at 640x480
You're used to trash though.
You know you're gonna get it like the rest of us TFN.
Um, I have a Microsoft Xbox 360 Gaming Console (which is the best console ever, even beating out the PS2)... not a Wii.

I've had my pre-order paid off since last year. :whee:

Color doesnt make a game good. Just look at Mario Kart Wii. I can't believe that's a full priced game. It would be embarrasing just having that on PSN or XBLA.

Ahahaha, I tried playing Mario Kart Wii at a friend's house (though I had to use that stupid wheel.) It was easily one of the least enjoyable racers I've ever played. Nothing about it was fun. Stick to F-Zero, Ninty. Actually, just stop making racers. You'll fuck them up.

Did you stab your armless friend?

Are you trying to tell me you didn't enjoy that PS1 Wii racing game called Cruis'n?!

no, i drank a couple of steel reserves and went hunting for taquaches (possums) at the canal. we do it real big down here in the valley, mayne.

NES

I just saw Criterion's website with 3 additional Legendary cars. Burnout Paradise is getting the Ghostbusters car
Steel Reserve? Noice. It's no Camo or Lazer however.
never had those. are they cheap/shitty beer? this place that closed down recently had steel reserve/high gravity tallboys for 69 cents. :bouncy: RIP "Pronto Groceries & Gas"

Virtual Boy.
Yeah, a compressed gif of handy-cam footage of a big projection screen will do that.
Nah, I think it is representative of the final product and I am extremely dissatisfied with the direction the game has taken.

c'mon dallow, such an obvious troll? BREAK THE STEREOTYPE!! of sony fans being easier than shooting fish in a barrel.

Nah, I don't care for racing games. I played the Motorstorm demo, and it was entertaining, but it's not for me.

I just got Wipeout HD, so that would serve me well.
Here's blanka:

you have to search for "fightpad" to find Blanka and Akuma
Thanks~!

I've found that colt45 and OE have the fullest flavor of any 40.

over my head :(
I had that floodz guy on my mind from the other thread.
I've found that colt45 and OE have the fullest flavor of any 40.
OE is the bomb, but I don't really like buying cheap beer now that I can afford better beer. The 40 of choice has always been Mickey's, though. A buddy of mine shipped out to the Marines/Navy a few weeks ago (forgot which one?) and he ended up spending 80 dollars on 20 Mickey's and 5 24 packs of Keystone Light for his going away party. I felt pregnant after three Mickey's and a fajita taco. :puke:

I drank four Mickey's one night, and woke up in a hole.
I fell in a little hole next to my friend's apartment when I was leaving and ended up passing out there when I figured I couldn't stand up.

Gameboy Pocket.

You're right, the combat was better. The thing is I don't play the PoP games for the combat. The platforming in SoT was definitely better.
Old Style or fuck you.
Fixed for Chicago.

Rei- I'm with you on that. I read in a review that TT is more platforming based, with the option for stealth kills so you don't have to fight as much, and that sold me.

Yeah, TT is basically Ubi's apology for WW. The stealth kills are done well because they're integrated right into the platforming.

Heineken? Heineken's for pussies! Pabst Blue Ribbon!

perhaps Dennis Hopper's best line ever.

*drool* that sounds awesome.
Kamkatchka or Dark Eyes?
I haven't seen Kamkatchka around here.

Hmm, should I try Dark Eyes?

Agreed. Mario Kart Wii was pure fucking trash. F Zero GX, now that's a racer. Still awesome, play that shit in 480p widescreen and it looks better than pretty much any Wii game.

Around here, people drink Miller Lite, pure shit in a can. I don't drink anything, but damn everything I've tried is nasty. I guess I"m not meant to be a drinker. I'll stick to my Dew with lime, and coffee.

I haven't played shit lately. Nothing new, I'd rather waste time fucking around on the internet and bullshitting with friends. Maybe I'll play some F Zero GX later.

The answer to both: got $3?
Fixed for Chicago.
I bought a zine at Joey Vindictive's record store in Chicago something like 12 years ago centered around booze. The only thing I seem to remember about it was that it featured the schematics for modifying your car to add a tap to the console.

...and off of booze and onto gaming, are the shadowing effects for the main character from Dead Space as shitbag awful on the 360 as they are on PS3? I can't stop staring at his shadow when my character's near a wall, 'cuz it's got a fuckin' Pitfall Harry level of pixelization.

Hmm, just tried out Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm demo. I might trade Resistance in for that.

I wish there was an LBP demo.
The answer to both: got $3?
Hah, sheesh.

It was surprisingly fun too, even though I not a Naruto fan.

My son had more fun with that Cars movie game for Wii than Mario Kart Wii. I tried helping him with MK on the Wii and I didn't care for it either.

Holy shit, I didn't even notice.

I'm going to add more shit to my trade list and resurrect it this weekend. I need money, I don't need so much shit, win win. I need to take the sting out of that SFIV TE stick.
