Kinda want to play the first FEAR on 360. I've owned it like 4 times, but I never played it.

I finally finished GH4, sorta tempted to dive into Fallout 3 right now, but I kinda want to finish Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness Episode 1. And get Episode 2 while I'm at it.

Play it on PC, it's dirt cheap now.

Congrats ... now do tell, what kind of deal did you get? If there's something you know that I don't then hook me up with some info

I'm addicted to the Phantasy Star demo. Few hours of playing, I'm already at level 18. I haven't found anyone else online though. I wonder why?

Yeah, my laptop sorta sucks balls. I've been meaning to get a decent PC rig, but eh.

So is there some sorta super speacial awesome deal going on? I wanna go back to Gamefly, but I'm taking my sweet ass time between an inifinite amount of PSP & DS games, and a decent backlog of 360, not to mention my Home-brew enabled Wii that's currently collecting dust somewhere in my house.

it's ad-hoc only. the online function is only available via PS3. I've been playing it alot too... so far at level 12.

as for gamefly... I'm guessing the smart thing to do is have a very small que so I get what I want easier?

I got it from the PS3 store. Does that mean I can play online, or do I have to do something else?

at the moment to play online it's a bit complicated since you'll need a Japanese PSN account to download the beta software to play online...

same here... I'm more excited for Monster Hunter F2 Unite to be honest... Phantasy Star seems a bit more mindless, but it's definitely more RPG than what Monster Hunter is.

Yes, I was stubborn and kept only a single game on the list, got it damned quickly. Now, what type of deal did you get?!

I managed to get a sweet weapon in the demo, but the demo doesn't sell the tech that goes with it. It's painful! At least I'm not a Force or a Ranger, since it seems like Hunters get the most out of the demo.

That's the best way to go about it, simply keep a VERY small list of what you want to play. Otherwise you'll never get to play the more in-demand titles.

When I had GF, I usually only had 2-3 games on my Q at any given point.

being a huge fan of digital versions of TCGs, XBLA Magic is coming along better than I expected:

sorry dist... went with someone who got me first a while ago, thx for the deal though >_<

Dead Rising 2 will be fun :)

The New Warriors game looks like crap compared to the Rockstar version.

also this is coming to XBLA:

also contemplating getting Burnout Paradise on PSN since it's such a good deal.

thx for the gamefly tips... I'm actually hoping to get Valkyrie Chronicles and Oneecahnbara Bikini Squad.

aside from the hefty post above, a friend of mine wants a PSP, and he seems to have alot of RPGs available...:

FFVII (GH)
FFX (GH)
FF Chronicles
Disgaea
Disgaea 2
Klonoa 2
Phantom Brave
Dawn of Mana
Drawn to Life
Gungrave
Gameboy SP (missing charger)
Pokemans Ruby
Game Gear + Tails Adventure

... I wonder if with that he'll be able to get a PSP... I'll be posting his stuff in the trade list tomorrow probably

I want to finish gta4 now. The game is so fun but then a frustrating mission comes up and kills the fun.

They should just give you like 10 "finish this mission free" cards since nobody finishes those games anyway.

Sold an invader zim DVD set for $70 that was $12 at goodwill. Guess I'm getting fear 2 right away.

No fight pads at my BB. They were too stubborn to even look.

wat?

Dang, my girlfriend got laid off yesterday. What a bummer. Now, instead of playing Xenosaga 3 and the RE5 demo all day, I gotta keep her in good spirits and help her with her resume. And I was really looking forward to just vegging out with some games this weekend too, cause I haven't played much at all this past week. Stupid economy.

But I still need my portable lovin, either getting Retro Game Challenge next week or just waiting for Fire Emblem.
As in skip a mission.
Really?

I'm BAD at video games. I beat every GTA since 3, besides the PSP games.

If I can beat those games, only a whiny, petulant child will cry about the difficulty of the main GTA games.

Shit. Posting from iPod sucks. Annoying isn't the same as annoying. If I don't enjoy a mission, let me skip it. Gta4 is better than older games, but some still have dumb checkpoints.

Insults about gta skillz are not necessary. Not a skill based game.

Nobody finishes gta games. Probably 90% of people just screw around with the games.

Do you have to buy virtual booster packs of cards for the XBLA MTG? I've always been interested in MTG, and used to play with my cousins cards when we were kids, but it costs too much to warrant me getting into it now.

As much as I love GTAIV (I feel like i'm a lone supporter of the game here on CAG ) I have to agree the most broken aspect of the game IMHO is the mission structure.

The simple answer is that the game really really needs a checkpoint system. it's even more apparent when playing the near end missions...

Looks like the first games I'm getting from Gamefly are Rock Band (to copy tracks), and Crisis Core.

Yep, the lack of a check point system was one of the big reasons I quit about half way through GTA4 (21hours, 50 some missions completed).

Just too annoying to have to do the whole thing over when you fail. Especially for longer missions where you find the place, have a big shootout, then have the cops show up etc. Annoying as hell to have to travel back there (cabs help) and do the shootout again if you die or get arrested trying to escape.

I've finished GTAIII, Vice City, San Andreas, Vice City Stories, Liberty City Stories, and GTAIV.

and yes, the games are bitches at time. A large reason why I kept playing was because I'm a huge fan of the series' multi-leveled humor.

Hmm. I'm actually playing through GTAIV again, and I'm liking it much, much more than I did when I first tried to play it. I'm not yet convinced that the narrative is as amazing as some make it out to be, but it *is* a decent story, and there's a lot to do in the world.

I've hit a brick wall in DQIV. I have no clue where to go and a FAQ isn't being helpful at all. Maybe it's time for a break from it and perhaps that would make it time to start Chrono Trigger... :whistle2:k Or maybe I'll just grind my characters up to level 40+ and complete the game with ease.

And I hated GTAIV. It did nothing for me. Now Saints Row 2... There's a game I could sink my teeth in to ;)

Should I get Dawn of War Dark Crusade or Titan Quest from that impulse deal?

I hope I get that Sly 2 in from goozex next week. I'm dying to play it.

Dark Crusade. Nothing more pleasing then unloading a Land Raider full of Terminators into a Tau base and watching them get raped.

Titan Quest. I love that game.

Wait... is that out?

Actually Puma, for $4 each, buy Dark Crusade and Titan Quest.

I actually wish I had some cash to buy Titan Quest.

EDIT: Nah, I never played the expansion and I still enjoyed it a lot.

I was just surprised that GTAIV had a good story to begin with. It was actually something to look forward to between the killing and chase missions. I'm not sure I'll touch the game again though.

Played some SR2 last night. It is fun.

Still trying to decide if I should get SFIITHDR on PS3. I do have a little bit of PSN credit left.

Once I get mycomputer back together I look forward to playing more gtaiv.
The latest patches helped performancealot.

I might play GTAIV again when it's $8 at Target. Might. . .

Today I'm playing some DMC4 on my PC, since I haven't finished it yet, and some HD Remix. Yep.

So I was browsing the the PS store and I noticed that it said I bought the Ultimate Bundle (I bought BP on PSN when it first hit PSN). It doesn't show the Party Pack as being bought, though. So, I'm wondering what I should do here.
