Hey, Sonic was cool back in 1991, right? Right. . .? I mean, he had attitude, dudes. He was so radical. Dude was like "Naw mang, no motherfucker is turning my animal friends into robots." How cool is that? We do have him to thank for such gems as Bubsy, Aero the Acrobat, and Awesome Possum.

GI Joe game will be trash, I guarantee it.

Aero wasn't a bad game...at least I don't remember it being bad.


And ya, what's cooler than saving your animal friends from being turned into robots? Nothing. The story in the earlier Sonic games was so amazing!

Aero was decent compared to the sea of trash that he swam in. Saving animal friends from being turned into robots is the coolest.

I dunno, I always thought of Sonic as a faster version of Mario. The plumber survived the move from 2D to 3D just fine, so why the hell do all the 3D Sonic games suck ass?

Crazy, it seems the Left 4 Dead DLC will be free on the PC AND 360. Maybe I should think about picking up Left 4 Dead on the 360 now.

Are you talking about ranked matches or private play? Cause ranked matches on SF2HDR suck dick.
 
Sega always pulls off some superficially interesting-looking 3D Sonic game that ends up playing like shit. It's a long running joke that's no longer funny, unfortunately.

And I'm too lazy to read SRK, but where are they getting their sticks from? B&M or online?

I'm not sure where they are getting them, but it seems some are scratched.

Quickmatch never works.
When I select a match out of the list, 80% of the time I get the "this game is no longer available" message. 10% of the time, I get in the 1 v 1 and the host just sits there. The other 10% of the time, it's great. Except that after the successful match I have to go back through the whole fucking process again. It'd be much nicer if it worked like Tekken 5 DR on the PS3. Or like it's private matches...
 
I only do "create match" in SSF2HDR ranked and it always works. For some reason "quick match" options in any online game never seem to work correctly for me.


Just picked up Sonic x Tails Yaoi's Ultimate Genesis Collection. And Retro Game Challenge will arrive from amazon tomorrow :cool:
 
So I found out they made some moves in SFIV harder to pull off with Cammy (my main) so they're basically the classic style moves, and on HDR, I cannot, for the life of me pull these moves off with my Fight Pad. Especially the Hooligan Throw considering it's so close to the Spinning Backfist in terms of how you do it.

Anyways, I went through HDR again, this time on Hard Mode, with Cammy (In HDR mode, of course) and I manged to beat it without too many issues. Zangief gave me the most issues. On harder difficulties the AI is a lot less spam happy, but it still happens. As a trade-off, they're more pixel perfect than ever with their timing. How I hit Sagat with a Super attack and die while he doesn't is beyond me when we both have no health.
