Aaaand the credits roll.

I guess that's my GOTY 2008. Sorry Fallout.
MGS4?

If so, yeah. That is an amazing game. Possibly my favorite of 2008, but I also loved Valkyria Chronicles...and DMC4.

It's one of the top 3 at least.

Persona 4, NMH, MGS4, and Valkyria Chronicles.

No, I'm not that far into Monster Hunter. I'm not a big fan of playing loot games by myself, so while I like that the PSP has a lot of games, very few if any have official online play.

The last two loot games I got into were easier since they had online (KUF:COD and Too Human).

Does Monster Hunter 3 have online? I am seriously contemplating picking up a Wii for that title alone.

Oh god dammit, more cutscenes after the credits. I took a shower when the credits started so I've missed most of this little set of scenes. Is there a cutscene viewer in the game somewhere now, or can I watch them on that pre order disk or something?
lol, Rengoku. That was a winner.
Ya it was. I played through it twice and pre-ordered the sequel, which I also played through twice.

Best handheld games ever!

Nope. You'll have to beat the game again.

I am pretty sure the Wii one does have online.

I still think Capcom would make alot more money by releasing a new MH on the PSP with online play. I can see it happening eventually, but not as soon as it should have.
Gears is no where near GotY. Fun game but alot of things holding it back.

who in their right mind leaves during credits in a MGS game? there's always more.
Quiet you. You like Braid.

I agree with your GOTY list 100%.

you missed the part where they retconned the entire series.
But I have a hard time understanding what a console must have done to leave you so offended and insistent that we need to be reminded that you don't like it time and time again.
I'm pretty sure it's the price. Which is sad.
Listening to you guys constantly complaining about Jer is roughly 950 times worse than his complaining about the PS3.
this.

Is there a program you can run on a computer to get Monster Hunter online? Or am I making things up in my crazy head?

I'm going to look at PSN games that I can rock on my PSP. Any suggestions while I'm in the shopping mood?
I started flower last night and didn't stop playing til I beat it. Great "game". I like it more than flow.
Same here, I thought flOw was pretty stupid.

Xlink Kai?

I still haven't found a gameshare group for it. How long was it?
Shinobi arcade. There's other stuff, too, like "Congo Bongo" and the like, but...SHINOBI ARCADE. "welcome to the bonus stage!"
Shinobi Arcade is the best thing on that compilation, but badmouth Sega's 'Donkey Clone' again and I'll cut you

:bomb:

flOw was cool for like three minutes.

Xlink Kai?
Sure?

Is it an easy program to set up and use? Are there enough MH players to justify looking in to grabbing the game and setting up Xlink Kai?

flow felt too limited IMHO. it was supposed to be relaxing but when controls and level size limitations get in the way it's not a good thing.

but I say flower is not a "game" but a game. there's a distinctive goal, an enemy, an beginning and an end.

it's not at all a non-game.

So..did 2 things today besides play more Burnout Paradise. #1, I got all 200g in Castle Crashers (my thumbs are insanely sore) and did some online for Banjo. God that game has the worst online system ever. I mean, why does teaming up with a buddy for team play PUT ME IN A SOLO RACE!?
SotC > Mangthang
I like SotC.

But it's easier to explain the appeal to stoner/drunks than normal people.

Normal people don't understand SotC

If SotC had a stable framerate (especially during the last battle where the damn thing drops to 5fps) I would've enjoyed it much more. But because of the framerate issues, I thought the game was just "okay".

I somehow feel this will be eternally quoted... but I didn't realize it was the framerate dipping, I thought it was just a dramatic effect since it happened at epic moments.
Boxxy Knight > Boxy Brown > New Unnamed Box

And yeah, I thought SotC was that way on purpose, too.
1. Say what?

2. Say what? Thank god I'm not the only one thought so.
