Rare has almost universally been mediocre to garbage. The only thing that stands out is RC Pro Am and the first 2 levels of Battletoads.

DKC was just OK, KI, Goldeneye and Perfect Dark were garbage.
sorry. crazies are supposed to be locked up in the mental bin, not giving opinions in general gaming threads on gaming forums... opinion discounted.

Sweet lawd my computer works again! Gonna fix it up with my tax return, but whew, what a relief.

Now to install WoW! All my band-mates used to play Evercrack, and my guitarists girlfriend is a WoW nut. We're all gonna start together, so it should be fun!

I played WoW for two weeks a couple summers ago...

my friend asked me to describe it to him the other day...i said something like "it's like having to get up and walk over to the bathroom and cleaning it, then me giving you 5 cents for doing that. Only in WoW, they ask you to kill ants in the bathroom and to bring them back 5 turds to confirm you did the task."

Grrrrr screw Time Warner Cable and their bandwidth caps! I'd rather stop using the internet altogether than pay more for the same service I've been getting for years.

fuck YOU TIME WARNER!
Seconded. But let's be real here. They know that the, at most, 10,000 copies it would sell wouldn't make it profitable to bring it over here. Blah blah blah Wii Fit blah blah blah Nintendo hates its real fans blah blah blah this is why I don't own a Wii blah blah blah Wii Music.
If they don't want to take the risk, then sell the rights to a 3rd party.

I hope Reggie dies.

Again, agreed. Look at Mother 3. To deny fans that game just shows how Nintendo is now. Let third parties publish it, Nintendo. You'll make money that way.

Have you looked at other options? I don't think FiOS is here yet. I really want to see how Time Warner tries to spin this. There is no way it's better for the consumer. It's a regression back to the AOL days.

Bastards are also sitting on Disaster: Day of Crisis.

:whee: Best price mistake ever!

was psyched 'cause I went on an unsuccessful "Rock Revolution for $4.99" last night, to trade them for points at BBV.

but I'm back to 10,000 :)

Once I have time When I should be studying for finals maybe I'll go through and add my current-gen collection to the games tab. CAG is the only community I really participate in now, with just lurking/reading gaming blogs.

Also, Reggie frightens small children. (because I don't know how to post pictures)
I cannot fucking believe I left my desk a minute before the Amazon 20 cent deal was posted.

It used to be funny, but now Nintendo is just plain pissing me off.

Oh well, it's not like there were any pressing things I needed to get. I still have 2400+ points just chilling.
I just like being set for life.

I hear Garou is hitting XBL.

I have a vague recollection that something happened like this on Amazon before, something to do with a B1G1F on DVD's and Amazon tried to retro-actively charge people the correct amount.

I'm guessing that would be illegal, I'm probably remembering it wrong anyway, damn shame I missed out on those points though.

Man, I didn't get to play that game until a year ago or so, but its definitely super . A buddy of mine gave me a bunch of DC games he had around his place and one of them was a disc only copy of Mark of the Wolves.

Did you see Uncharted 2 is on the Wii VC?

I remember something like that happening with FYE. Everything was just pennies or something like that and people on Slickdeals (and a few here) were buying outrageous amounts of stuff. Then FYE caught wind and retroactively charged the correct amounts.

that would be super illegal. straight up theft

Someone said in the OTT that their TOS states they can do that. And I guess it wouldn't be illegal since its in their TOS? Doesn't sound right to me, but I remember what benjamoof is talking about.

Either way, I'm kinda sad I missed out. :(

I did a quick search on the net and I think I found an article about it. What actually happened was Amazon caught a mistake on DVD boxed sets and sent out emails to people asking them if they would be willing to pay the higher price, which pissed off a lot of folks.

What it didn't mention was if any orders had already been dispatched. It's a different situation here anyway as those codes will have been used, so it's not like Amazon can ask people to return them for a refund, so I guess Amazon are hosed.

I have heard of some online places retroactively charging customers, but Amazon wouldn't do that.
Someone will just get fired.

The only other options are AT&T U-Verse (which is also imposing the cap) and maybe Grande. I'm holding out for FiOS myself.

Groan, I always miss the good shit like 20 cent MS points.

On the other hand, Amazon has been super good to me over the years, so me fucking them over just for some points probably does not do me any good in the long run. I really want amazon with FSSS, no tax, best online/mail order customer service overall, and awesome deals to continue for as long as possible. :p

"1. If we screw up and complete your order for an unintended price, we reserve the right to use your credit card info to give us more money."

there's just no way, would open the legal door to all kinds of fuckery.

I've had other places charge me full price when I take advantage of price mistakes. Never with Amazon, but it's definitely a possibility, so keep an eye on your statements.
