I'm skeptical that SE would blow both DQ9 and FF13 in the same fiscal year (April to March). Then theres that garbage about SE releasing the 360 and PS3 versions simultaneously despite not publicly starting the 360 port until after the game is done, and their other claim that they want to release their games closer across all regions.

Another reason to visit daylo! :whee:

I wonder how true that is about them not starting the 360 version until after the PS3 version. Logistically speaking, it doesn't seem to make any sense. It makes them sound stuck in the past with weird brand loyalty and resistant to going third party with a main, non-mmo entry of the franchise (though they have yet to make a PS3 game, which is loltastic.)

sales wise too, it'll sell better on the 360 everywhere but Japan (I checked my crystal ball), so why not try and streamline the whole process of making the game...?

Once the game is finished for Japan, localization starts for USA for PS3, concurrent with port of 360.
I don't know, doesn't seem like it'd take that long. I expect simultaneous release for NA.

And hey, SE did release Crystal Defenders for PS3 in Japan....
P.S.
You overpaid for Mercs 2

I think $7.50 is a fine price to pay for calling an airstrike Mercs2.

Played some missions in SR2. I dun like how the vehicles control, but it's still fun to play.

From what I was gathering, it's much easier to port something that was developed with the PS3 as lead to the 360 than it is to port a 360 lead game to the PS3. So it makes sense they probably were in league with Sony as the leading console share in Japan or something... and then they decided they'd sell more units in other locals with a (reasonably) simple port to the 360.

Most people like the driving in SR2 better than GTA4 because of the more... arcade type control... SR2 plays more like a sequel to GTA: San Andreas than a direct competitor to GTA4.

And Mercs 2... I probably wouldn't take a copy if someone decided to just up and give me one. (Same can be said for several games though... like Halo 3.)
The fights were fun to watch, that was about it.
No they weren't. It was just a couple hours of flynning. There was no risk, no potential for actual harm. I mean... look, here's a game to play with Advent Children: go to the start of a fight. Any fight. Now guess how many characters will actually take a significant amount of damage. Now fast-forward to the end.

If you guessed more than zero, odds are, you were extremely wrong.

And yet... it's a "wanted" on your TL. What's that about?
Advent Children sucked a fat fucking dick.
I just realized something. I got Advent Children mixed up with Spirits Within. . . Yeah, I was very out of it when I woke up.

So to clarify, Advent Children was mostly fan service trash, not really good though.

Spirits Within sucked a fat fucking dick.

I wonder if they canceled the PS3 Steambot 2 which was really just the PS2 Steambot 2 and used the assets for the PSP version, like Makai Kingdom in reverse.

Yeah I meant Steambot. Been watching more WWE lately.

And yeah, Steambot Battle Tournament for PSP, since Atlus just sent me an email about it.
 holy shit, where did you find these?

There has to be one about My World, My Way or Rhapsody.. Something about rarity, just enjoying the gameplay, then secretly dressed up like the chicks in either game.
I found them on /v.

Haha, I've only seen some regarding mostly Persona and Disgaea. I'll dump the rest I have.
What's the significance of the orange on the thumbs in those cartoons? Sort of a "lul, they eat cheetos" or something?
Yes.

I've actually witness that Halo 3 one in person.

An adrenal / fear rush that can only be matched by your mother walking in on you masturbating.

 Again, exactly like that dude at Gamestop. Place always fucking reeks.

I have 291 games in my CAG game collection, minus what I couldn't add because they aren't in there and most of my PS1 and DC games. Saturn gets shit on though, it's not in there.

I'm not even sure why I find these comics funny. But props zewone.

I finished Killzone 2 today. My hatred for people named rico has increased by 150% after spending a whole 4 and a half hours playing the campaign.

I wouldn't doubt it for a second.
I'd much rather play as the Helghast in Killzone 3. With the opening level have you torturing/killing rico and "sev".

Seriously, Guerrilla Games, could you make these characters any lamer? I mean they're even worse than if they'd ripped generic space marine stereotypes out of the big book of stereotypes.

AH man, that disgaea one was hilarious.

I don't play disgaea or plan to either, since I'm somewhat averted to grinding out levels and shit for no reason (which is why I didn't feel like cracking the end game open in ffxii for so long)
