sounds like bayonetta is a day 1 now for me... thanks to the ESRB:

During the course of the game, some female characters perform suggestive taunts and poses, including opening their legs or gyrating their hips. Some of the more provocative outfits are shed during battle, resulting in brief depictions of buttocks and breasts. The camera occasionally pans close-up on breasts as they are jiggling.
infshini-- you only get charged tax on the cash amount. if you have $280 in credit, the tax will go on the remaining $120 if you get an elite bundle.
You sure?

I asked one of the employees once and they stated they do charge tax, store credit or not. Most of my purchases have included tax, but only ONCE did I note that tax was not applied.

They're fickle :/
i have 20k in points to burn
:O

What prompted you to even pass 10K O_O?

I have $20 in PSN account that's been sitting there for months, that's about it. If MvC2 has online play and it's a near-arcade port, It'll be going towards that unless some amazing PSN sale pops up before hand.

I'm getting for sure too, but it drops in November which is easily the worst time to buy a game @ MSRP. Going to wait and hope for some nice holiday sales (go amazon!)...

anything goin' on right now I should know of?
how many points exactly?

also, anyone know the cheapest place to get Fallout 3 on 360?
Get it wherever you can, the game is great and worth whatever you pay. You'll love it for sure!

Feel like being generous? ;)

Free was good for Fallout. Not sure I'd pay more than $20. Especially since I still feel like I need to drop $10 on the expansion so I can get by the level cap.

And it doesn't matter if how he feels if the points are already attached to his account. :\

I too played through the whole game for free (my friend let me borrow a copy), and I burned through 50 hours in a week. I'd say $30-40 is a steal for the game, however, the total DLC price so far is up to $30. Doesn't really seem right to me, but eh.
And it doesn't matter if how he feels if the points are already attached to his account. :\
I thought about this after I posted. Wishful thinking!
awesome... might bite then. been meaning to get it ever since its release, but held off due to financial reasons. I can afford it now.
You don't need it. I hear it sucks.

I have an amazon XBLA addiction now... is there anything else on sale? I should've bought doom, I'm thinking. :\

I don't want to play anything new in the stack of games I have... maybe I should start up lost odyssey? or one of those PS2 games in my backlog (Odin Sphere, FFXII, Godhand)?

List of games I could play but have no interest in at the moment:

Mass Effect
Bully
Riddick
GH:WT
GH:Metallica
LEGO SW:TCS
Skate 2
Viva Pinata

Games I'm considering playing again:
Ninja Gaiden 2
50 Cent: BotS (Need a co-op partner [sean, manthing] I'm looking at you)
DMC4
the cheaper I can get Fallout 3 the better. more money for the DLC then.
I'd only go for the newest DLC coming out in a week or two, since it raises the level cap and continues the main story.

I started to hate the game once I hit level 20 and stopped gaining experience. :\

I've read that as soon as you buy it and install the level cap is no longer there (or raised at least probably to 100).
Godhand is good for some laughs, and is challenging enough to either keep you coming back, or make you throw it against a wall.
yeah, it's the only game i've ever played where both my arm gets sore, i'm pissed as hell, and i really enjoy it.
Godhand is good for some laughs, and is challenging enough to either keep you coming back, or make you throw it against a wall.
I wish God Hand turned out better.

I remember before it came out reading some previews that made look like it was going to be GOTY material...and then it came out and people actually played it. Made me sad.

Yea, it made me sad too, deserved way higher than GOTY.

But I can't trust you. You like the newer sonic games.

what uk coke promotion?
it'll be back for 2 more fridays theyre giving out 3 million in points and last friday was 1 mil

though i think it was only like 5k redemption so i doubt anyone is gonna be able to get a ludicrous amount of points like my cash in of $70 in free points and if u think thats ridiculous people on gaf got even more
also i wouldnt post a thread about unless u want ur chances to be even lower to cash in

At least the Sonic games have better controls :p

If Resident Evil style tank controls are what you want in a game like God Hand, then you're covered.

Your first statement's simply wrong, in this case even an opinion can be wrong.

Second, it worked for God Hand. Did you even beat it? I beat that disgustingly horrible game they called Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360. Well? No? I didn't think so.

Can't say I beat it.

I can say I owned the game on two different occasions and definitely did get pretty far in it. I eventually just stopped when I accepted I wasn't enjoying it.

And for Sonic The Hedgehog, I did beat that. More than once :D

Also Sonic Unleashed. DLC makes me happy.

You beat the game with Sonic, Silver, Shadow and the last scenario more than once? You've got the patience of a saint.

Although I am near perfect, I couldn't get all S Ranks on my first time though. :p

That game makes me sad too though. If it didn't have all those technical issues it would have been so much better.

I actually imported it on PS3 since it was taking forever to come out in the US

I hear it has superb casting, but horrible script and direction :(

I hope that's wrong

also, Demon's Souls needs a damn US release since it's already translated >_<

We need more skill based hard ass games!

Playing MK v DC from Gamefly.

Midway should have gone out of business before this game came out. It's embarrassingly bad, which is a shame, since the gameplay seems to have gone in a largely better direction.

The story and presentation are shit, though.

Hopefully I'll have time to DL some stuff from PSN tonight. Still working on rebuilding the PC I am converting to an HD video editing rig.

I didn't even play it, just watched a friend play it. It looked so terrible. First thing he did was mash out a 7 hit combo with the Flash. :)

Not even for $10 would I buy it.
Two questions.

1. Has anyone played Code Avalon for DS? I believe that's what it's called.
Saw it yesterday at the store and it looked interesting.

2. I've never played a Fire Pro Wrestling game. Which one would be the best to play first? I know there's on for PSX in the JPN store, and that PS2 version from about a year ago.
They've always looked like fun, like all the 2D wrestling games I used to play.
The only 3D one I liked was that one on N64, don't remember which.
I played the Code Avalon demo from the Nintendo Channel, it was pretty fun, which was a big surprise to me. Best Fire Pro to start with is probably FPW Returns, since the GBA ones have different timing. Plus they're kind of small.

Direction?

Probably because all of those idiots that watched it illegally. And watched the version that is before all the post effects/cuts are in.
