Cool - looks like I'll be going to E3. I kind of just emailed the E3 people saying I had trouble registering with my free priority code (kind of lied) and the guy registered for me and said my pass is going to be sent to me. Hehe, awesome.

Hopefully there will be some good stuff!
That is a badass movie.

Are you watching it dub or sub?
I'm watching it dubbed, but strangely I don't mind at all...

i gotta stop halfway through since I gotta get up in 3 hours >_
watching drunken master for the first time... wow. it's damn good as long as you don't take it too seriously.
Legend Of Drunken Master w/ Jackie Chan?

One of my favorites of all time. The last segment is so damn sick, I love it.

@ninja dog

So, you sure about the whole no tax on store credit thing for GS? All but one of my purchases with store credit always resulted in sales tax.

I see. I've been googling for some solid evidence but I haven't been able to find anything.

I might end up calling their 1 800 number just to ask them about Cali's stand on this.

It depends on how the state where the GS is located treats trade-in credit.

Some states tax purchases made with GS credit, some don't

I heard that once, but it would really blow since I'm in CA. Sales tax just got hiked up and my purchase would rack up $38 in sales tax :bomb:

WTF???

GS Customer Service hold music was FF7 stuff o_O

Also, the lady in CS just referred to states that don't charge sales tax period. It looks like I won't be able to get a straight answer :/

The manager at my GS says it depends on the store. Apparently she said there was an e-mail from corporate to force them to charge tax even with purchases made with credit. You don't have to believe me if you don't want to, but that's what she told me.

Just finished Resistance 2 last night and I really liked the story. The game was just long enough with enough varied locations to be fun. I also liked the improvements for the weapons. Please keep the "What a retard" jokes to a minimum just because I liked it.

Gave up on SMT Nocturne because every place seems to be exactly the same and the FAQs that I found are missing key parts and contradict each other.

Also started Fantastic Four with my family and it's damn near impossible to play mostly because it's impossible to do anything but fight back to back because of the camera.

I loved Resistance 2 also, you're not alone ;D

I considered everything about it EXCEPT for the competitive multiplayer and graphics better than KZ2.

I'm glad someone is with me on this one. It's almost become fashionable to hate it. If you still have it, I'm still looking for people to play co-op with.

I liked Resistance 2's SP also, not more than KZ2's but it's still definitely nowhere near the level of bad everyone else is saying it is.

That's messed up. Only time I have to pay tax is if I don't have enough credit to cover the whole purchase -- and even then, it's only on the cash portion. Gift card purchases also require paying sales tax, since they were bought with non-credit.

Just ask StinkinLinkin -- he lives in cali and does a bunch of trade ins, I believe.

By Linkin you mean LP? Guess I'll toss him a PM then, see which GS he goes to. I kinda hate how each store operates independently of each other in a way. Certain ones dock you for no case on Trade in, others have a 10% discount on pre-orders, etc..

Yeah, the trade-in values depends a lot on the store/clerk.

Yeah, it was cool.

And as far as MP for it goes, anytime i play online with friends we do that instead of KZ2 since it has a party system. I wish KZ2 did.

I've realized that for the last month or so, about 85% of my gaming has been on the DS.
I see this trend continuing throughout the year.

oh shit!

DS, PSP, and 360 is the best combo. Take out the PSP if you aren't into anything from the PS1 and before.

but I've been playing lots of snes and nes on it lately. I had no idea Actraiser was so fucking awesome.

and zombie games too. been reading world war z, just finished re5, got dead rising and l4d, and dead space is kinda like zombies. space zombie mutants.

Damn, Call of Duty 2 was a great game. I'm playing it again on pc now with all the badass settings.

I might go get 3 games from GS B2G1 thing...

I was thinking Midnight Club LA, Mirrors Edge, and Silent Hill Homecoming...those are all good, right?
I'm watching it dubbed, but strangely I don't mind at all...
I don't mind watch them dubbed, I grew up watching dubbed kung fu movies.(still do) Sometimes the dubbing adds to the charm of the films.
Resistance 2 is hot garbage.
It's not garbage, it's just not as good as everyone HOPED it would be. I think it was a victim of the hype. R2 nailed the Co-op online aspect, they just needed to add that option to the single player game and if they would patched the game sooner I think it would have fared better in the long run.

I'd be down for some co-op sometime. I'd like to do the same for the campaign in Unreal Tournament 3(ps3).

MacGREGOOORRR!!

I went through it on the hardest difficulty way back when and had a blast even though I died A LOT. The British missions are the best n' funniest everytime you're with MacGregor

Dang, Infamous is in my Gold Box...do I bite?!?

Anyone else interested in the Uncharted 2 multiplayer demo? I'd hate to get the game and no one is around for the demo...

So I finished Drunken Master last night... loved it. I think I'm more happy with it because it's a great comedy while also being a great action flick.

automatic classic in my book.

is the sequel any good?

I'm really interested in both. I just don't think I'll be buying Infamous at full price..
