Just for single player? If so I would say any of these if your in the mood for them.

The Darkness, R & C:tools of destruction, NG:Sigma, Klonoa 2 or Sly Cooper.

Oh wait, I keep thinking Drunken Master 2 is the first because that's how it's titled in the US, without the two.

Legend of Drunken Master is pretty awesome. I loved it.

It's not as good as Drunken Master, but it's absolutely worth watching still.

If you can, watch the original Drunken Master II and not the edited Legend Of Drunken Master version. Either way it's still a badass movie, but DM2 is the true experience.

Yeah, the bad part is as far as I know, no un-cut version on DVD exists.

If it ever came out though, I'd buy it.
 
I've been tempted to get the DS Pokemon games.

I loved the GBC Red/Blue/Yellow Pokemon games, those were the bomb back in the day. Gotta catch em all!

Sad News: Some person was toting around their DSi at my local Gamestop, showing it off n' all. The sad part? He was a 40 year old....dare I say? VIRGIN. Plus his friend was all giving him props so I vacated the premises immediately because I didn't feel cool enough >.>

It wasn't that he owned it, it was just that...he was so damn proud like a 12 year old and he wasn't 12. It was in a way where he wasn't being funny about it, more of an "in your face, I got one and you don't" attitude \\:D/

Wow, great story. And yes, after age of 40 you are definitely not allowed to walk around with a DS. . .

anyone picking up anything from the best buy sale?
i already got pure sciv and too human(i enjoyed the demo >_>) for price adjustment and if they give me shit it says right on their site that they have to price adjust and all i need is the receipt :lol:
 
Singstar ABBA will be mine.

As for Too Human, BB would have to pay me $10 to play that game. Actually, even then I wouldn't. My time is worth more than that.

Finished up Butcher Bay...it was awesome. Unfortunately, everything I've read about Dark Athena says it's not nearly as good (especially the second half) but I'll still play through it.
 
I bought my 360 day one and have been addicted to cheez ever since. :whee:

And it's Gouken from Street Fighter IV.

But I think I want to go back to Zangief :]

Meh, don't really see anything on the BB sale that interests me. Maybe SC4, but that's about it. I'd like to burn thru more of my backlog before getting anything else tho.

Getting towards the end of Dark Sector. I'm really surprised at how it has exceeded my expectations and is a worthy little action game for the cheap price. After I finish it I'm gonna jump back into GTA4 and make some more progress in that game. After that, its either Saints Row 2, or Fallout 3. Yeah, I'm leaning towards Fallout.

I've been about to change my avatar and sig multiple times, but every time I do someone makes some ignorant comment about it. Which makes me want to keep them.
 
So I started playing God Hand. I'm loving the campy, over the top brawling but I see a HUGE problem already and that is the fact that you have to play through an entire level to be able to save. It was ok for the first level because I got through it pretty easily but if I have to keep replaying areas (my biggest pet peeve in gaming) I'm not gonna stick with it.

Haha. Yeah, don't worry. The single player experience is good enough for me. I usually stay away from multiplayer that was built around a single player game. Crappy tacked-on multiplayer in the name of replayability is usually just a waste of time anyway.

Depends on how easy you think the game will be for you. If you don't have any troubles with the next boss or two, then don't worry. Otherwise...

also, it kinda has a checkpoint system... kinda...

but yeah, once you get the controls down, which you have to to win, prepare for fucking ass hard bosses.
 
whew thank god for price adjusting
just got back and showed the csr my reciepts and got my money back no questions asked
so glad i decided to pre buy cuz i got there 30 mins after the store opened and alot of ppl just had stacks of random games in their hands and the games i wanted were long gone when i went to the table to check

360? also damn when i went on friday i picked up one of the 2 copies of sciv and they were the launch copies that still had do not open before 7/29/08 :lol:
also why is sciv 360 not on the cag database? just tried to add it and it only showed the ps3 version
 
There was nothing worthwhile at that best buy sale.

Been playing stalker and it's awesome. My SF4 skills have atrophied.. or people have just gotten much better recently.

how much is Valkyrie Chrn going for now on ebay? I stopped into my local GS today just to see what was left of the sale and saw they still had a copy >_<

I didn't realize how dumb my local gaming community was until I saw that.
 
The two Best Buys near me were stocked with every game, QoS, Too Human, Pure, SCIV, Silent Hill, and the other hot shit from the sale as of 3pm central. Pretty sweet.

I've been going through Valkyria Chronicles - it was a coincidence that I happened to get it from GameFly when the game seems to be creeping back into peoples' mind share again.

Pretty challenging but rewarding so far. It's too bad they didn't release this game in March or April so it might have had a chance to sell much better.

They had literally dozens of copies of this game (the LE and the regular version, which some were getting for $10 also) at my BB.

There were a lot of people walking out with 007 T-shirts.
