I hate NXE. Its slow and I find it difficult to locate what I'm looking for sometimes. I wish Microsoft would just rip off the XMB / PS Store setup.
part of the reason why i hate downloading stuff on 360 nowadays... :(

when the blades were out it was so easy to go and download something in a few mins (still slow in some ares, but better than now).

if you want to be real sad, log onto the japanese XBLM... it's fast as hell... then again, nobody in japan is takign up XBLM bandwidth

and I am glad that capcom is backing up games by request... makes me playing Mega Man Legends 2 and Tron Bon more a reality.

Rival Schools is a must thought.
Good news for Myke (via Joystiq):

Capcom is going to make its PlayStation Network presence a lot more robust as it begins releasing ports of PS1 titles and providing downloadable versions of previous PSP titles throughout the year. We spoke with Capcom's Chris Kramer, who let us know that the company would be listening to what the community wants and figuring out internally what titles to release -- but don't expect any of them to involve licensing shenanigans along the lines of Marvel vs. Capcom.

"We'll definitely be looking at a lot of titles that have things like Street Fighter and Resident Evil in the title," Kramer said. "We're thinking about putting together a long list of the titles we're looking at, and then releasing it on Capcom Unity and having people vote on them. Ultimately we're looking at bringing between 20 and 40 titles to the PSN over the next several months."

I'll suck a dick before half those games - no, a quarter - get released on the PSN.

Capcom is hopeful, sure, but they're also aware of the PSOne titles they submitted to SCEA at the end of 2008 that are in a kind of release limbo that even Earthbound fans are laughing at.
That's awful news.
Sony pays you to suck, don't they?

The old 360 Dashboard - especially the guide - froze on me ALL the time.

NXE runs smooth for me.

Same exact thing here. I used to hate how the guide froze all the time, but it doesn't with the NXE.

the guide use to freeze on me as well, but took half the time to do whatever I wanted. plus stuff was easier to find and didn't take as much navigation as the menu now.

an easy answer would be if you could use the guide blades always and not be forced into jumping into NXE from it.

NXE is pretty sluggish. I grabbed a few demos and trials this weekend and couldn't believe how long they took to download. Nothing like the speeds I got in November.

the freezes and stalls in NXE are touchy for me. I have to make sure nothing is loading at the time before I hit the guide button or else it stalls. also takes a long time for the avatar characters to load up if go to the friends blade no matter what. I got the same thing in the old dashboard too...it's about the same, performance-wise.

I hope they over do it on the ram with the next system.

yeah more ram would be nice... if MS announces a new system (very low chance) very soon, I won't be happy. I like long term cycles... probably why I like portables...

sure you upgrade the hardware, but it's never too much and all your old stuff mostly works.

on that note I still don't want a DSi till they announce GameBoy VC games.

Also, (i'm being a bit random i guess here), Patapon 2 is out at retail this Wed and on PSN this Thurs... Get! Very Good Game! Digital Download only!

Yeah no one wants to shell out $500 every couple of years... I'd rather they improve and work with what they have in making it the best it can be before dumping new shit on my doorstep. Especially... "in these economic times..."
There was an announcement that there wouldn't be a new console until at least 2013, except for the new wii's HD console.
Errbody knows, it's all about tha HD GAYMES. ;)
If we even make it to 2013.

Jk. :]

Michael Pachter makes announcements now?

What he said doesn't mean it's gospel, but I'm sure he's on the right track, and I hope he's right. 2013 would be a good year for new consoles.
Any sooner would be a waste IMHO.

were you the guy who sent in the question to bonus round? I saw the name and thought it might've been you >_<

hope ur enjoying Patapon 2

He says a lot of things though. Watch his appearances on GameTrailers' Bonus Round to see that a lot of that stuff doesn't come true.

No, Rolento.

I had no idea that they took questions and I tend to watch episodes in groups every few months since they take about a month to put out a full episode.
Yeah, can't forget the 2012 Apocalypse. :p
Yes, the Illuminati will sanction all games from being played.
I just wanna know what they're gonna announce @ E3 this year. >_
when is E3? I keep forgetting?
I believe June 1st is Microsofts Press Conference and E3 starts the 2nd (with Sonys and Nintendos conferences on the 2nd as well)

Alright, number crunchers!

Two requests:
1) # of PSP games released on UMD in the United States since launch
2) # of PSOne games released in the United States since launch
2) # of PSOne games released in the United States since launch
Including or not including PSN and Greatest Hits releases?
Odd playing GT4 on a fat PS2 these days.
That's what I do. Boy, it looks like crap.

I pulled a random unplayed game out of my pile last night and started Blood Omen 2 for XBOX. I didn't realize how early of an XBOX game it was. The voice acting has to be my favorite part of this series.
Just ordered Crackdown for 9.99 on newegg this morning. Since I will be done school tomorrow, figured I needed something to reward myself with.
I like the way you think. My last final is in 1.75 hours.

Then again, I bought RE5, Lost Odyssey, and a 120gb HD this weekend. So I guess that counts.

EDIT: I really need to think out my sentence structure before posting
What should I start/restart first: Fallout 3 or Oblivion?
Play Fallout, skip Oblivion, wait for TESV, of which there are enough rumors about right now to confirm its in development.

But I just got Oblivion/Shivering Isles/Knights of 9 this weekend.

:whistle2:(

I actually liked Oblivion better. Though I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that I prefer a fantasy setting to the post-apocalyptic one in FO3.

Too Human is quickly losing whatever charm it had on me last night. Polar enemies make for funky combat, especially as a berserker because I can't be arsed to slow down to use my gun or the ranged melee (paradox?) attack. GRNDL-1 is annoying for the same reason, I didn't make a berserker to use my fucking gun! But juggling an enemy and shooting him on the way down is charming the first few times.

I was really hoping to get all PSO on this game but it looks like it'll be going on Goozex by the end of the day.

To be honest, I've enjoyed Oblivion more than Fallout 3, but now after playing Fallout 3 I wish they'd go back and update Oblivion's engine so it runs as smooth as Fallout 3's.

I kinda am expecting a new TES though, since it seems about time.

Ugh now I fear E3. Are MS and Sony going to debut awful motion control options that will be forgotten in 6 months? I'd rather they just show some games.

Went to BestBuy to try and pick up the You're In The Movies XBL Camera bundle for free but they had none in stock. So I went over to TRU and they had 24, yes 24 copies of Orange Box for 360 for $5. No Mass Effect though. They did have two Hori EX2 360 fighting sticks but they were $60 each. So once I'm completely done with RE5 it's time to play some Half Life 2.
Gamefly has it for ~$31 with 10% discount and the $5 coupon perks you get with having a Gamefly account for a while.
I don't have the 10% off yet >_<

otherwise I would buy it from them...
