And I go to the official PS blog for PSN updates, which is where I saw that BUZZ! info and that Puzzle Quest Craptastic are in the update.

Hmm. Since I travel (enough), I figure this might be the best route to go. Being unable to use it when I'm on the road doesn't sound ideal.

We're getting like a dozen PSOne games. duh.

i'm printing up PSN fuckin' Sucks Club membership cards. want one? Costs as much to join as the PSN, and offers the same number of classic PSOne titles.

http://twitter.com/psnstore also updates with info all the time. That link I just keep on my phone.
Handy when I want to see what JPN/HK gets on the weekends.

Europe update went live, and there's a Savage Moon demo (finally....)
That should come over as well.

And 3.0FW is out in less than a month! Can't wait!

I'm kinda jealous of my lady friend's new (to her) car. If all goes well, she'll drive it home tonight.
2007 black on black Accord with a TON of options. Normally I don't even give a second glance to an Accord but interior is just so nice.
Super plush leather, 5 speed manual V6 (hard to find), dvd navigation, bluetooth, sunroof, heated seats, XM, the works pretty much.
 
Plenty useful stuff for me Frosty.
Mainly the copy/paste, and multiple picture emails. Oh yeah, and MMS.
I can't remember the other smaller stuff from the presentation.

Multiple picture emails are about the only thing that could be useful to me. According to the Apple bullshit-o-tron, 2g phones can't handle sending MMS messages. So I'm screwed there. Copy/paste... I don't even know where I'd use that. So yeah, I'm mostly good already. Now if they tweaked some of the interface shit so I could do the things that require me to jailbreak without the need to jailbreak, then I'd be stoked for 3.0 FW.

The only framerate I noticed was that it dropped dramatically near the end when they put everybody in the guild town in front of a door you have to get through. Other than that, the only technical issue I had was mostly that it froze three or four times in the middle of an assassin mission, so I had to start over a few times. Ubisoft needs to get better QA people.

Namco Museum Virtual Arcade was only $10 at Gamestop

I couldn't resist, even though I already had Pac Man CE from the Arcade disc.

You said that you can install the games, right? Is it like NXE installs where you still need the disc afterwards or can you play them without the disc?

It really is the worst game I've played on PS3 as far as tearing and framerate issues go.
That being said, it's still playable and enjoyable, just too distracting for me.

I was just surprised, as those MS Arcade discs don't allow you to install in NXE.

Glad I got it on 360, makes me weary on getting AC2 for PS3. I'm just going to have to see if it has the same problems.

Hrmm, I thought I remember seeing that you couldn't install the Arcade Compiliations when NXE first hit.

Oh well, not like I want Outpost Kaloiki or Wik clogging up my HDD anyway.
 
I like it, it's pretty much a different styled "(blank) Tycoon" game.
Wik too even though the main character is stupid looking. Some of those puzzles are hard (i go for the time bonus).

It's the stupid "HD" videos on those compilation discs that take up all the space.
Namco Museum is small though if I remember correctly.

Holly sheet. That Namco Virtual Arcade is worth it mang... Pacman CE and Galaga Legions are worth the $10 alone. Though I already own them... so I'm not sure it's for me. :\
 
I can't get the stupid "destroy captured fighter" achievement in Galaga!
I tried many times.

I used to accidently destroy the red captured guy all the time in the arcade, but I can't do it even once on XBLA?
 
Haven't been here in a while. How's everyone doing?

Just wrapped up God of War on psp, which was a great game.
Played my 360 for the first time in 2 months but wasn't satisfied.
Both GTA: L&D and Boom Boom Rocket felt really slow and weren't fun.

Also, I've been trying to think of games that I am excited for and not many come to mind.
Just Brutal Legend (loved Psychonauts and Tenacious D is great) and God of War III for me.

I think I'll start the Metal Gear Solid series tomorrow.
Hopefully it doesn't feel too outdated.

naw... it was part of "Game Infarcer" the April fools section of Game Informer.

I will say I impressed with how spot on the art is though... even got the key design and cannon right.

Yeah, theres been a couple games in there I've wanted to try out. I generally don't like paying for PC games though, so I haven't tried any of them.

Most of them are free, as are most Indie games.
