Dude GTAIV is frustrating...

I'm on this mission
for Ray....Early Check Out...you have to go through this hotel and kill bitches...which is cool until I get to the roof and die because it seems like i'm being shot from all angles even if that's impossible...

No I can get through the hotel with almost full health...
but on the roof, there's like this glass dome with one exit and a bunch of mooks on the roof outside of the dome...but as soon as I get up there, staying in the dome to shoot the guys outside of it, I get shot seemingly from every direction even though bullets can't apparently go through the dome...and I always die.

Maybe if the game had some fucking checkpoints I'd be more inclined to keep trying.

@Jesus_S_Preston
Bullets can go through that dome, it's made of glass [last I remember]. Probably a mission you need a vest in. Could try landing a helicopter on the building and get out to use that as cover if that's the dilemma you're in, or... [just thought of this] land the helicopter on nearby buildings and snipe enemies from afar.
Ouch, sorry to hear that. Just curious, but what were you doing when it gave you that error, or what were you doing prior? Not trying to make a connection here, just curious.
I had been playing Point Lookout for an hour or so. Turned it off. 3-4 hours later, I turned it on so I could watch Firefly (which I've never seen) and the dashboard had green checkers all over it. Having had prior experience to this, I said "Aw, crap.", shut it off, and got the red light. I was expecting three, only got one and the E74 error.

That sucks, the same thing happened to me when I was outside the last Dungeon in Tales of Vesperia...

I was playing Tales Of Vesperia, and I got the boat. I was moving the boat, and my 360 is like "fuck you, disc unreadable".
PLZ no RROD....

Amazingly though, BBV (in Canada) has brought back their minimum $10 TIV on all 360,PS3,Wii games. Sadly no sports games. But I can say goodbye to FarCry Instincts Predator, Perfect Dark, GRAW2, Kameo, Prey, Stranglehold, Wartech, Viva Pinata, Top Spin 2, Tenchu Z, N3, Naruto:ROAN, and turn them into $120 TIV! I also have $135 TIV at EB Games.
Life=good.

You don't need to turn the first Reflector. There should be a ladder near it that you can climb up and pull the lever

#-oKinda wish I hadn't read that. I'm finally getting the hang of this game though, can't stop. I get the feeling I'm near the end though.

My GOTY is way too early to tell. No game this year has impressed me.
Modern Warfare 2, Bioshock 2, Max Payne 3, Assassins Creed 2, or Left 4 Dead 2 have a chance.

So, looks like PS3 will probably have the BC coming back via PSN update. Not confirmed or anything, but it's what it looks like.

Also, Halo: Reach might be using Natal. We'll see how that goes...

Sorry... did I spoil it? :whistle2:#

Yay! got my Wii component cables today from Monoprice along with a ton of other cables and shit for camera equipment.

Hopefully this gets rid of the shitty blurry Wii I've been playing with barely.

I think I'm at the final level of MadWorld. I'm not entirely sure, though. I'm definitely going to sell this game when I beat it. It's a matter of motivation really, and the only motivation I have is to beat the game right now.

It'll definitely get rid of the blur... that much I can say.

So i finally got around to demoing red faction, and all I can find on XBL is the single player demo.

Was I just imagining there was a multiplayer demo...or what?

From what I see in the singleplayer, seems like fun, although the 3rd person view feels kinda clunky.

I just beat MadWorld. I had to do the last part twice since the game froze at the exact moment I delivered the final blow on the final boss. Thankfully, it wasn't a long fight.

There was a Red Faction online demo, but if it's not there, they probably took it off, which is smart.

The online game can be really fun, but gets frustrating pretty quick.

My roommates and I traded in a bundle of old PS2 games today to take advantage of the 40% extra credit.

We got $7.50 :)lol:) and got LotR: Return of the King. Great co-op game. Any other recommendations on good PS2 local multiplayer games? I'm going to snag a multi-tap and Champions of Norrath sometime soon.

Woo - Did the BBV -GS flip thing and bought 3 copies of Fight Night Round 4 - or rather, Call of Juarez:Bound in Blood, Wii Sports Resort, and Metroid Prime Trilogy, and a bonus XBLA points card. All for around $80.

I love how the reciepts say "Trade in value - $7.00" "Bonus 12.99" for some of these. Awesome.

My fucking target oversized chair snapped a few minutes ago, I have two, my first snapped within two weeks of owning it. I only weigh 140 pounds! I'm looking on CL right now at love seats. That would be awesome and comfortable and these people are getting rid of nice stuff for like $100-150.

Nah I just wanted to get as much of the game on my own. No big deal, I probably would have spotted it next time anyways.

Played a lot of MLB 2K9 and Left 4 Dead today. Played a bunch of online ranked quick matches in MLB, won some, lost some. Going to start a Mets franchise tomorrow. Finished the first two acts of Left 4 Dead.

fuck! One mission away from being high ranked in Monster Hunter U and I make one stupid decision and loose roughly an hour of hard work

I'm use to it by now though...

but, moving on I'm finally gettin my puerto rico footage and cutting it to be organized now :)

I can refer you and I'll get $20 which I don't mind splitting with whoever signs up, but other than that I can't remember the referal for the CAG one to be honest. ask cheapy.

Hey if anyone's making a BIG best buy purchase I have a triple reward zone points coupon BB Sends out for your birthday I'm likely not going to use - PM me if you're interested.

It doesn't work on videogames, just certain purchases - it's kinda lame.

If I could get hired, then I'd immediately start work on a female version of Milo in a game I'd lovingly call "Chacrana's Super Japanese High School Girl Crowded Train Grope", or "Project Fetal" for short.
Computer Engineering degree next may wooo. Now if only there were some game developers out here. Supposedly Yahoo is building a datacenter nearby though, which is is pretty cool.

Do you really want a used love seat?

Muramasa on PS3/360?
MMV is looking to publish some of the games on HD systems.
Hopefully that is one of them since it has no motion controls at all.

This is exactly how it happens, from my experience. Luckily, MS started covering the E74 errors, since they're pretty much the same root cause as the 3-light RROD.

Unless they plan to put a little work into the ports I'll pass.

If Muramasa's definitely the one I'm double dipping. if only because of the probable gap between release dates. >_>

That, and Wii CC D-pad vs. 360 D-pad.

I just plan on skipping the crap version of the game.
