Hey since mak was wondering.
BF1943 is set for July 9th on PSN for $15.
So I imagine it's the same week for XBLA.

Just finished the second season of The Wire. So awesome.

I can't stop playing Left 4 Dead and MLB 2K9. Ever get on a kick where you just have two completely awesome games and you'll play one for an hour, then the other for an hour, and keep on switching off?

And my brother's BlazBlue is coming in today so that's three games, I have to see if I like BB though, that would be three games I'm hooked on.

I'm probably going to take a break from The Wire for now, last summer I watched the first two seasons of AD and the first season of The Wire (among other things), so I'm thinking now I'm going to finish off the last season of Arrested Development.

stealth edit: fuck yeah, Hulu still carries all three seasons of AD.

P.S. - Do any of you have a faceplate on your 360's? I'm thinking about getting one. Any recommendations on good looking ones?

P.S.S. - When BF1943 drops we should start a GGT clan on 360 of sorts, I doubt they'll have a clan system set up but we should play together.

Apparently, he's misinformed on what Joystiq/Kotaku had up -- Suda51 says he wants to make NMH into a big franchise and that NMH2 will be the last NMH for the Wii, because they've done everything they can do on that platform.

Also, I have an update on the 360 wireless headsets, I did try to get them for you guys. (tfn, moxio, azmang (i think you were the 3rd person)) but had trouble at that last moment before checkout. I'll post about that later.

Guys @ work are having a "team building" game night tonight :whee:.

Brought mostly Wii games as my contribution. At least now I can play Mad World and HoTD Overkill w/o worrying about the kiddies hearing/seeing.

What's the big hooplah about GCN component cables? I thought the red yellow white cables were component but maybe it's the RGB ones. Is it so you can play it on an HD set?

Hmm I wonder when we'll see the first DSi exclusive retail game. I'm hoping Nintendo makes a better showing at TGS than they did with Facebook for the DSi.

in terms of lucas games, I'm surprised they havent taken advantage of the great possible use of skumm games on the iphone...

here's hoping it's another day of the tentacle. I never played that.

Got near the end of grim fandango till my computer crashed... I should prob finish that... even if some parts were frustrating it was damn good.
 
Personally I'd love to see every old school PnC title from Lucas to be on Steam. I'd buy those games so fast.

Speaking of Steam, their weekend deal this weekend is insane. 20 2k games for $54. You save like...$175 or something like that.
 
I bought and returned two more copies of Fight Night today.. hehe. Two more holiday releases for less than half price..
