Also, who the hell is going to buy those Modern Warfare 2 night vision goggles? Watch them try to charge like 250$ for it. Also, does the hardened edition include the downloadable COD?

Just asking so I know which version to get during black friday or whatever other half price sale they have before the year is out.

They don't have a price for the Prestige Edition yet, although I sure as hell plan to get it, even if it costs my first born. I've been boned by "special editions" before with broken figures and useless artbooks, but it's a pair of fucking night vision goggles. I can buy the best game of the year, AND get some extra gear for the upcoming zombie apocalypse? Sign me up!

That Prestige Edition is one of the dumbest things I've seen.
I'll be getting the Steelbook version eventually. Gots to have CoD 1.
 
Well, they got the 12 year old audience pegged with the Night Vision goggles for their "extreme airsoft opz"....I do not see any other age bracket buying that at full price.

I love steelbooks and I know Activision is going to try and sell COD for like 1600 points or maybe even higher(twitter guy just confirmed that hardened is 80$)....Will grab the steelbook when its on sale.

Speaking of Steel books, I love them! The Gears 2 steel book is exceptional, my second favorite only next to the PDZ steelbook.

I love them, I just got my Death Proof and Planet Terror steelbook today.

Can't believe people are willing to pay 200 bucks for the COD4 Prestige edition (that's not the official price, just what some have been saying they would pay).

I have to work every day this week 9am-9:30pm on Smackdown. So tired... I'm pissed on the dev kits I downloaded Splosion Man and it wont let me play the first trial levels. It just makes the sound, but nothing happens. Is that a dev kit problem or am I doing something wrong?

Finished up Ghostbusters tonight. Awesome, awesome game (I'm a Ghostbusters junky), but the online is fairly dead. It's a shame, because the one game I got into was a ton of fun.

Been working on my Tager in BlazBlue a bit too. I think I'm level 23 with like 35 wins and 30 losses, or something right around there. I've never tried anything but ranked match, so I've been learning the game the hard way. I've spent < 10 minutes in training mode. I just get bored fast, I'd rather learn the game on my feet. Hit me up for some games if anyone is down.

I also picked up The Bigs 2. For a baseball junky, the game is heaven with the Cooperstown stuff. Fred McGriff facing off versus Nolan Ryan? Yes please. Can't wait to see who else is in it.

I can forgive Dead Rising shit save system(I learned to deal with it.). But what I can't forgive is one save per HDD. It's bad enough you force me to do everything within a time limit but then you won't let me have multiple save files? Thats BS.

Also, was pleasantly surprised when I was raiding some EDF buildings and found a battle mech that shoots rockets. :twoguns:

I don't get whats to "deal with." When you die, you load a saved game. When you have a second to spare, you go save your game, like any other game. As long as you don't accidentally hit Continue, its unexceptional.

I gotta do more SP, I really really want to go nuts with the nano rifle. It's one of my favorite weapons, second to probably the sledgehammer. It's amazing how many people let you hide behind a corner, then pop out to strike 'em down as they try to find you.

There are several saves points spread out across the mall.


If anything it is a perfect save system, but the lack of multiple saves is my only complaint.

Not that anyway cares, but I forgot to mention earlier that I stumbled upon the Mars Rover in Red Faction. It was tucked away in a valley in the mountains in the southeast badlands. You can't do anything to it though. It's just there. I tried to break it. :lol:

You are overestimating people. I would consider getting it myself if It weren't for the fact I was spending already spending about $500 in Nov.
 
I messed up--my local Wally World was clearancing Motorstorm PR for $10, and for some reason I didn't pick any up. I guess it was because they had tons of copies and I thought I had a couple days maybe. Of course, now they are all sold out. >_
