Well, you must not be THAT old. You found something.
But I lost my keys going over to yell at the neighbor kids for playing their records too loudly.

RE5 is pretty good, not as good as RE4, but still solid. I'm replaying it currently, just playing on easy solo to experience the graphics on the full screen since I played through the first time in the crappily done local split screen on normal. I hated how they didn't use the full half screens like Gears. Made everything small, even on a 50" TV.

Got infinite ammo for the shotgun last night, so the rest of the game should really be a breeze. Will probably throw it on goozex to get some more points for Blu-rays once I beat it again though.

If you want easy RE5, you want Infinite Hand Cannon ammo. Also, Infinite Rocket Launcher is pretty broken as well, but I think IHCA is a bit better since you don't have to worry about splash damage, only kickbacks.

Played some more Mirror's Edge. And now...the frustration sets in. And I've only completed Chapter 1 -_-' I mean...can I have some more hint as to where I'm supposed to go? Please? Red Paintings would be nice to say 'go this way' and the circle button doesn't help at all. I'm playing it on Easy, so I think they would've given me a few more indicators as to where I'm supposed to go. It's not too much to ask, is it?

I only had problems with ME on the 2nd to last level where you have to go up this construction site that was ridiculous. Otherwise i had a blast with the game.

Seriously, fuck ME. Half the game I was going "Where the fuck do I go" or "fuck this combat".

MR BELDING FROM SAVED BY THE BELL CAME TO MY SCHOOL. NO ONE TOLD ME.

we told you not to go home this weekend
Playing a lot of Champions Online right now. Damn that game is addictive. >_

The Les Paul is pretty iffy, but there are tips and tricks for making it more reliable. I put a few pieces of eletrical tape into the locking mechanism for the neck so it wouldn't jiggle which fixed frets not reading entirely. Star power is still questionable but it's much more reliable when I store the guitar flat instead of on a stand.

Well I almost got a PS3 slim today with store credit. Looking over the shelves of gamestop, I could only find about 3 games I would want to buy.

Killzone 2, Infamous, Motorstorm 2

So instead I got wolfenstein and Muramasa and saved the money for this holiday.
Yeah I should have specified that I have an Xplorer and never want another. I hate that bitch so much.
For me, I loves it. It never drops input, and the buttons are close enough together to let me stretch or slide for hard/expert... but then again, it's me. I know there was a deal on les pauls at some point, but I don't remember where/when/or if it's still valid.
You have an Uncharted 2 swag bag? Why, how, and whats in it? Also, send it to me please.
Canvas tote with Uncharted 2 logo, Uncharted 2 T-shirt.
How is the combat? traditional MMORPG fair or something more...actiony?
It's traditional MMO, but certain powers have meters that can be charged for extra damage or longer damage over time and require holding down the mouse button or releasing the button at a certain time. Blocking is also done manually and is a big part of strategy, too. If you've played COH, it's similar, but they've done an even better job with the graphics, and the general "feel" of the powers. I'm liking it so far, though it seems it's having the usual MMO startup growing pains and MMO player whining.

I just....I couldn't go back after the Strat. It feels so hollow-y and like a children's toy, the buttons feel too far apart and big and clunky, just, everything is ew.
So after 2 people tell you it sucks, you STILL buy Wolfenstein?
I went with what 1up, co-op, rebelFM, joystiq, Gamers with Jobs, and Giant Bomb said about it. Podcasts mean a lot more to me than the weirdo anime pillow humpers in this thread.
Fun, Simple shooting that doesn't break any rules, but is good at what it does. I like Raven's shooters a lot, and it looks to be worlds better than Quake 4 was, and I managed to enjoy that.
I gotta say after watching some video of Uncharted 2 I'm impressed and might actually consider buying it much later down the road when it's cheap. And if I still have a PS3 by then.

Yea... I used to trust 1up's word. But, then I bought Boom Blox. That game is no where near how good they talked it up. Bah.

See, to me the strat is flimsy. The buttons are big and clunky, and it feels like it has no weight. I sent mine out for repair, got it back, used it once, and went back to the les paul/xplorer.

I think the size is a factor too, I'm a tall guy with long arms and big hands. The Strat is large, the xplorer feels tinier and compact.

This is very true. My short fingers like the Xplorer because of the button spacing and clicky strum bar... but I could see others liking the strat because of size concerns... it's pretty much the opposite.

For some reason this reminds me, I saw a set of RB1 drums at a garage sale when I was walking the dogs earlier today... almost stopped to check it out, but didn't think it was worth it, since I still have a pristine set of RB1 drums that has been used maybe 3 or 4 times for a couple songs.

I saw vid of it... it looked like shit or at least played like shit. I'm talking Soldiers of fortune or Dark sector level. Maybe even Wanted level.

I plan to get Wolfenstein when the price drops a bit.

Also, today I was digging through some old junk and I found a few copies of GameNow, I used to love this magazine. :( It's a shame it was cancelled.

I also found a sealed copy of LifeLine on PS2. I had bought them really cheap at a black friday years ago. I had fun with that game, it was pretty neat when the voice commands worked correctly.
Lifeline was pretty cool for what it was.

Someday I'll go back and finish it.
Yeah, it was really neat, but it pissed me off a few times during exploration and the voice controls. The voice commands seemed spot on for the most part though.

I loved the battle sequences and small talk portions. :)

I think I got frustrated when there was some shiny thing I wanted her to pick up, but I didn't know what to tell her in order to get her to do it.

I remember a part regarding a coffee mug that made me furious.

Damn, I really want to replay this game. I need to get a new PS2 and a headset. :(

Actually I have a huge backlog of PS2 games I need to get through.

I have a bunch of PS2 games I need to play as well. I love the PS2 so much.

I think I still have a USB headset somewhere around here. I should try Lifeline again now that we're talking about it.

Definitely too little time.

I love the PS2 though. If I had to choose only one system to play for the rest of my life that would be it. The game library on it is insane.

Definitely, the PS2 has the largest range of games. :( From obscure weird titles to big blockbusters.

I have a weird twitch for some Socom action as well.
MW2, :ps3: or :360:? Friends on both systems and I'm definitely not getting both
I think it's pretty safe to assume that there will be something inferior about the PS3 version, considering the bastard stepchild treatment that MW1 got.
I'm on my phone so I can't, but can someone please dig up the post where I predicted exactly what Jer would say about Wolfenstein?

Why? If I told you it was no good (which is the truth) you'd buy it anyway and say this:

"Despite the reviews, Wolfenstein is pretty fun!"
So you were close. The correct answer was "I trust the opinion of people I don't know a lot more than the people I don't know in this thread. This game does nothing new, but that's OK because it's not a Sony exclusive."

What the fuck is wrong with you?

Do you think I chose my breakfast cereals according to how it will hurt the Playstation brand too?

You're pulling some tin foil hat shit with that post. When I get my PS3 slim next month, will that change anything? Probably not. Ignorance takes a while to turn around.

fuck, I can't wait to play motorstorm again. I loved that game.

Finished up Batman:AA yesterday and found all of the riddles. Finding the riddles was surprisingly rewarding, but maybe thats because I'm a comic book nerd.

I've been slowly playing more and more MvC2 and I'd like to think I'm getting better. Arcade mode is a great 20 minute time waster (as is splosion man and Trials HD).

Is anyone else having problems with the forum logging you out even when your just sitting on a page?

Are you on FFox 3.5? Someone else was complaining about the same thing. Though that someone else might've been you.

Calm down, Jer-Bear-Mang.

After you get your slim, you'll just say something like, "I really don't see why someone would like this (Playstation exclusive), it does this, this and that wrong."
