Really, Sony? I can only add to my wallet in 5s?

fuck you.
Microsoft and Nintendo do the same thing, but require more money.

Anyone know where I can download an HD version of that English FFXIII trailer?

I've never had to add funds before on 360 because things are priced so that i dont end up with 9 dollars when i want to spend ten in the first place.

I think it's at least 5, isn't it?

Anyway. Little Big Planet is actually kinda fun, especially with the camera.

I don't understand. I bought a 20 dollar PSN card, bought FFVII and Suikoden, balance left 4.02, bought another card, bought MVC2, balance left 9.03. If they're gonna price things at random prices like 5.99 then I should be able to add random amounts to my account. Now the cheapest way to add more money to my balance appears to be to put 5 bucks in, then I buy the 9.99 game I want and end with another stupid number like 4.04, and wtf wil I do with that.

Yeah, I've bought two $20 PSN cards with trade credit and paid like $7 and $17 on top of that two separate times with no problems.

I bought FF7 and Suikoden. I can't wait for FF8/Suiko 2. Has konami stated they won't be putting up suiko2?

In a weird way, I like the way Xbox does marketplace purchases. Having to plan out buying points cards and getting deals on them is better than always paying full asking price and being easier to impulse buy. But that's just me. All the $15/$10 points cards I've gotten are worth putting up with the allard/cash conversion.
As long as it's at least $5, you can pay the exact amount you need.
Yah, but I only need one dollar and that's the pisser.

Got started on Riddick: Butcher Bay. It's pretty cool so far. I'm playing on hard, so its definitely a challenge. I feel like after MUA2 I needed something tough.
How long is Butcher Bay, and Dark Athena for that matter?

I think im nearing the end of Butcher Bay, it depends on how many areas you get stuck in due to not knowing the "trick". I love how they keep freedom just out of your grasp, so that you feel like you making progress, and then you just get put back in the slammer.

Stumbled upon this today:

pretty cool paper for those who are into comics.

Finally got ODST yesterday. I played it about 6 hours or so, only getting to the 2nd mission in my campaign while doing one of the Vidmaster Challenges for a later one. I also spent about 2 hours with one friend getting the 200,000 point achievement in Crater, which was awesome. We could've kept going, but it was 3am by that point.

I also got my copy of Bowser's Inside Story, so I'm looking forward to playing more of that.

When ODST came out i decided i needed to get in on the Halo franchise, i've never played a Halo game before (360 was my 1st microsoft console). I bought ODST from GS and got Halo 1,2, and 3 from the local pawn shop.

I beat Halo 1 and 2 already and im working on 3 now. Playing them on the heroic difficulty and enjoying the campaign story. Cant believe i never played them before, i can see where they are kinda overrated by some, but very good nevertheless.

I've got Motorstorm Arctic Edge.. I'm on the verge of abandoning CFW. Should I do it?

Alternatively someone has a blue PSP 2000 on sale on craigslist for $120. Hmm.

The campaigns aren't very good. Everyone who likes Halo likes it for the multiplayer.

Speak for yourself. Attacking those two big-ass AT AT things with a Hornet was fucking rad.

Didn't he just say he enjoyed it? And I actually enjoyed the campaigns as well.

Halo 3's campaign was pretty good. I just meant in general, Halo isn't known for it's campaign. Most of the people who shit on Halo play the campaign once, hate it, and never touch it again. I'm just saying that the reason people like it so much is mostly because of the multiplayer.

I'd say it depends on how much you use CFW.

If you have money to spend might as well just grab that other one so you don't have to lose it.

I just bought a PSP Go today at Best Buy. :D I'm absolutely loving it (much better screen than the PSP 2000). I love being able to use my PS3 controller on the XMB and play games with it (I tried out that feature on it). Gotta get some component cables. I did post a blog about it and my PS3 slim just now.
I doubt PSP 4000 will have bluetooth. If it does, it will be more expensive.
Even without bluetooth it would still be a better deal then the Go.

if 4000 has dual sticks but a shitty screen it'll be worth it.

plus I'm waiting till the PSPGo comes in a game bundle since it'll still be 250 but come with more. Plus 16gb isn't enough space for me... not even 32gb. I like to load up stuff (strictly games) and the go will be hard to manage at 32.

Well I bought the Blue PSP 2000- nice shape, $130 with 6 games. Traded in all of them except Ratchet and Clank Size Matters and got around $20. (shitty madden, need for speed, baseball, etc)

It's pretty nice. Can't wait to play motorstorm!

Has the 3000's screen, that everyone bitched about when it launched, been changed at all? I don't see anyone mention that anymore, so I'm wondering if it was changed or if everyone just calmed down.

I was looking at 2000's and 3000's today and I kinda liked how the 2000 looked better. I did notice some blurring on the 3000 in the menus.

Don't even joke about that.

Frisky: I've never even seen a 3000 in person so I wouldn't know.
You played the demo already, I assume?
No, I don't have my PSP yet. I've watched a shitload of videos and read a bunch of reviews though. It looks so sick .
Dissidia was alright... to be honest, Crisis Core was alot better, even in terms of gameplay.
There's at least 2 things wrong with that statement.

the last good FF game I played was Crisis Core. before that came FFT.

Sure, CC had some pretty randoms stuff, but it was good. Dissidia just feels like fanservice x300. It plays fine, but does alot of unnecessary stuff...

24 days...!!! fuck Yes!

It's a fighting game, it's allowed to do weird things. Not only that, but it has the characters from FF1-10, of course it's going to be a huge fanservice game.

You're comparing two different games, man.

both games use the same graphics engine and are made by the same company/team.

I see ur logic, but at the same time I think it's valid to compare em.

Ahhhh lucky! lol. I'm crossing my fingers on winning a PSP GO on www.pspminis.com

I don't have a PSP anymore, so I'm counting on the fresh site to get me back on the road of PSP addiction again. :hot: :hot: :hot: :cold:

If I lose anyways, I guess I'll just get a 3000.

----------------
How's the battery life btw? I've been hearing weird rumors on the PSN forums, but I don't really believe that it only lasts 3 hours.

Hooray, my Kingdom Hearts DS arrived three days before the estimated arrival!

Negative-hooray, it arrived three days before the estimated arrival at college while I'm home.

Some kid sold me Ridge Racer 7 for $2 while waiting in line at gamestop today. I think that's pretty good.

Best deal ever. :applause:
Amazing, and I had to buy it full priced.

Agh, I was so right about Scribblenauts. Once you get over that hump of, "OMG I CAN WRITE ANYTHING!" you no longer want to go back to it. Yawn.

*Not that I hate it, just not as appealing as it used to be and it seems like nobody is talking about it anymore*

Anyone want to trade Layton: Diabolical Box for Scribblenauts?

I've been hearing weird rumors on the PSN forums, but I don't really believe that it only lasts 3 hours.
I actually don't have a DS anymore (mostly because while unemployed for a while, I really needed money and I wanted less gaming platforms to concentrate on), but I hope to get a DSi sometime just so I can finally get Kingdom Hearts (since I'm a huge KH fanboy, although I still want BbS on PSP more).

As for the battery life, I actually drained my battery and had to re-charge. However, after I charged, I also did a lot of downloading with it, played GT PSP and Fate/Unlimited Codes for a bit, along with running the bluetooth for a bit. That was the longest I ever left my PSP running during a time period.

I have just over $19 in my wallet. I was going to re-buy Wild Arms XF on PSN, but I'm tempted to just get Blade Dancer for $5 since I always wanted to play it ($5 doesn't mean much to me).

I might go and buy component cables for the PSP Go today. I was going to wait, but I really want to try the controller on the TV thing.

When I worked for just over 5 hours on Saturday and Sunday, after all the taxes and deductions, that basically paid for my PSP Go (working that overtime). The previous overtime I worked back in July pretty much paid for my PS3 slim.

I already spent way too much money last week, so I want to go easy on spending this week, especially since I'm picking up Demon Soul's Deluxe Edition (using GameStop trade-in credit to partially pay for it at least) and going to Dave & Busters with some CAG members (have no idea how much to bring).
