I don't remember any meaty parts to the story of CC. I remember Genesis reading nonsense out of a book constantly, and the story rarely making any sense.
I was talking about the Cloud parts, not the Genesis parts. Jesus, the fact that the cutscenes are unskippable almost made me break my PSP in half when Genesis spoke.
Am I the only one who thinks Bayonetta's head is way too small for her body? That's all I can think about when I see this game.
That's one of the first things I noticed when I started playing the demo
Pretty much a DMC clone, which I wasn't interested in when DMC4 came out last year.
Thats pretty much expected since the guy who made DMC is behind it.

She has a head?

On a random note I just saw Toy Story 1-2 in 3D. I forgot how much I loved those movies... I'll need to pick them up sometime.

That's why I said that. I don't really care for DMC, so this didn't do anything for me either.

Kind of a random heads up but I saw the PS3 Fallout 3 GOTY edition at my local Kmart today. I was tempted but all my saves are on 360 so I'll probably wait it out. Still, if you're looking for the game, check Kmart.

(no, I didn't try and buy it but I can't imagine that it is street dated)
Bayonetta didn't have any framerate issues for me. The game looks very...white though, and sort of blurry.
Definitely some texture issues. I didn't notice a lot of framerate stutters -- though it did a bit when the big guy grabs the bridge.

I played some Katamari Forever just now. I'm on Episode 3 and loving it. The IGN Half-Minute Hero review has me hyped for the game, although I already really want it (I expect XSeed to release it digitally). Going to play some GT PSP or Prinny because CAG R2 night.

I'm now addicted to buying on Amazon, and I'm tempted to buy more blu-ray movies since I might need to buy The Dark Knight there (Best Buy lacked digital version while Target was $2 more with it. If I buy from Amazon, gotta buy Advent Children or Superbad to get free shipping).

I'm also debating about trying my first beer during the CAG/Goozex meet-up tomorrow, since I'll be in a bar area.

So many firsts for TMK this week. Why don't you start with a 'rita or something else sweet? Something tells me you're not gonna enjoy a beer.

Gaming while on an alcohol buzz is great!

I wonder if I should tank up right before I start my first Demon's Souls session?
The Xplorer is terrible, if I want to feel like I'm holding a Fischer Price toy I'd buy one.
I guess you would remember. You were playing with them up to, what, 5 years ago?
I was talking about the Cloud parts, not the Genesis parts. Jesus, the fact that the cutscenes are unskippable almost made me break my PSP in half when Genesis spoke.
God, I didn't even remember Cloud was in the game.

Yes, thirteen is the prime age for Fisher Price. What's up your dick tonight?

The Fisher Price headquarters is in my area. Next week I'm actually going to be talking toa Fisher Price rep about engineering jobs for when I graduate.

Finished Chronicles of Riddick, the Assault on Dark Athena campaign. The 2nd half of it was...meh. First half was good.

Starting Demons Soul's now, lets see what all the hubub is about.

I managed to get my hands on the 360 version of the Bayonetta demo finally. And I must say without a doubt...HOLY SHIT! This version's awesome. Everything's in real time (unlike the PS3 version which seems to cut to pre-rendered in 480p mode a few times) and is sweet. Only complaint is the controller. While it feels a lot better than DMC4 on 360, something is still off. On the PS3 version of the demo I managed to go through it with no deaths, no items used on Normal. On the 360 version I was 1 and 1 on Normal.

There's also only slight slowdown during the cutscenes and some minor tearing when it goes all white. Also, the opening part of the demo is probably the most awesome thing I've ever seen in an action game.

YO GGT!!!!

Put away your pussy video games and go watch

I tried to start Xenogears at 2AM about 12 years ago with me, my PSX, and a 12 pack of Weidemann (regional shit beer).

I woke up three hours later upside down with the controller in my hand, still hanging out in the first village. Can't say booze enhances the gaming experience.

Hopefully you have learned the difference between Xenogears and Smash Brothers.

Jealous!
I'll be picking that and Ratchet up this month. If I can do a T3G1 on one of those, I might grab Brutal Legend as well. I have $120 in EB credit so those 2 are covered.

Some stores have it ready for purchase already. I somehow have the will of a Saint because I passed on buying it yesterday so I can wait until Tuesday's TRU sale.

But in the meantime, I played more the Multiplayer Beta which I haven't played in a while, trying out the Co-Op Arena mode. I hate that you can't break free from an enemy's choke hold if you are being shot at. Even if you don't get hit. We somehow managed to get through all 10 Waves, though.

That actually sounds much better then the 2nd disc.

I'll be skip Half-minute hero since I didn't really like the Demo(I'll wait for a sale). And I'm debating on getting Uncharted 2... I wasn't a fan of the first game and I also have a stack of games I'd actually like to play. So It wouldn't kill me to wait for a decent deal.
I'm still buying the game on PS3 because of controller preference.
I was going to get it on PS3 until I found out how terrible it actually was, because of the controller. If they got the framerate to 60fps, the main problem I have with it would be fixed.

I played Bayonetta up until the boss fight, probably, and I didn't notice any major issues. :?

The smart play would've been to buy it early, buy it again at TRU, then return a copy to the original store.

The 360 ver doesnt even run at 60fps . More like 39 - 48fps

The ps3 one runs at 27 - 35fps

I, for one, didnt fine the ps3 ver terrible at all. I thought it ran fine.

Ill be getting it on ps3 just because i decided that I am not going to buy another 360. I dealt with Orange Box (which ran fine to me), I can deal with Bayonetta.

Same here. You getting MW2 on the PS3? If so (and you haven't already), add me!

I've always thought drinking in moderation made games way better. Especially when its a mediocore game, you (well at least I do) get much more amusement out of bad design choices.
