Get cool game swag with no money from Hardcore Gamer Magazine

Firstly, I checked with CheapyD to make sure it was cool to spam you's with this. Many thanks to him for giving permission.

I work for Hardcore Gamer Magazine. We just started a new online community for the mag and, to make things lively, we're giving away some really cool game swag just for being active on our new site. The way it works is you get points for most everything you do there and then you redeem your points for the neet swag.

Stuff available now includes a GBA Micro skin signed by Miyamoto, a Resident Evil mask, a Mario... oh what the heck... you don't need to sign up to see what's there, so just look for yourself:

If you like what you see and want to start earning points to score it, click the Join Now button on that page and you're on your way. $0 required. If nothing interests you, well... thanks for looking anyway! You're still welcome to join and have fun.

Regards,

I don't know if i'll be active, but I just wanted to say that I love the magazine. It really breaks the mold and you guys aren't afraid to say which games suck. It's funny to see high rated games (like Soul Calibur 3) get torn to bits for being the mediocre fighting game that it is. HGM rules.
I never even got the "free" mags that were offered from your company, doubt i'd get anything for this either.
Nor did I.

D'oh! I've had the community announcement email sitting in my Inbox for a while already, but I never opened/read it. If I'd known there'd be prizes involved, I would've signed up sooner!

I doubt I'd ever post enough to qualify for anything though. Same reason I could never hope to be a Nintendo Sage: just don't have the kind of time where I can live my entire life on a message board.

Good lookin' out for the "game fan," though! ;)

very cool thanks, hopefully i can at least ge a t shirt :)

and i agree with Scorch your magazine is awesome one of the few freebies i will actually pay to subscribe to :)

thanks for the free subs and the cool swag

Sorry for posting in the wrong spot. And thanks for all the kind words.

We did generate 6,000 free subscriptions during that offer and have sent every issue so far. If you think you should have gotten one but didn't, you can email us at orders @at@ @djpub.com and we'll check on it for you.

I got my free sub and have been enjoying the mag. I'm going to join, but I'm already an active member at a few other forums, so I don't know how active I'll be at this one. I'm going to give it a shot, though.
cool stuff, but there's no way I'm gonna be able to get any of that shit.
One guy who signed up last night is already in the #3 spot (I hope he didn't cheat though!!!).

Bah

I was wondering why I was getting Hardcore Gamer in my mailbox when I had never heard of or sent for it. Since djpubba is running it, I wonder if it had something to do with me ordering guides from Double Jump?
I can answer that.......Brandy Taylor
She is so ugly.

And I wanna have a free sub to this mag, I love Mags that do what others dont.

Imma join but dont think Imma be posting very much/at all since I already go to 4 trading boards and then play games then watch TV or something.
Thanks though for the stuff

How much is a sub, anyways?

I really like the mag, but I don't think I'd pay more then $10 - $15 for a sub, for a few reasons I won't go into here.

DJPubba,
where is the HQ for Hardcore Gamer Magazine? I'm looking for a summer internship (i'm a 6th semester journalism major) and I'm trying to find something that I would thrive at. Let me know if you guys even take on interns.
Thanks,
Michael

Well I got mine, and I love it. Don't be an ass because you didn't get something that was supposed to be FREE. Heaven forbid you lost 2 minutes of your life filling out the form. Besides he said you could e-mail them and they would look into it for you.

Redmond, WA, but we don't take on interns. You can probably imagine that we get a LOT of people wanting to work at a game mag.

IIRC, we had a promotion going for anyone who ordered a Makai Kingdom guide got a free 6 issue sub to HGM.

Oh, and hey! We just dumped a ton of new swag on the store. A lot of it with low points required too!
