Getting a PS3 in about a week. Got some questions.

ok im gonna get a ps3 the week of July 8th so i can get an extra controller for free and the 5 free blu ray deal.

I also ordered an HDMI cable so i can run in HD.

Anything else i need to enjoy HD with a 5.1 system, and a 720P HDTV.

ALso i picked up resistance. What other games would you guys recommend that are coming out between now and the end of the year.
Im looking at motorstorm also but not too sure.

You need an optical cable unless your receiver supports HDMI.

I'm in the same situation. Built up $600 in credit at FYE using the brown bag, so I'll be getting a PS3 tomorrow or Monday. Have Resistance, ordered an extra HDMI cable and have an extra optical cable. I also have a Westinghouse 32w6 LCD, but I've heard there sometimes are HDMI problems with that. How big is the difference between component and HDMI with the PS3? And are there any multiplatform games that are BETTER on the PS3? I also have a 360.

also how easy is using the built in wireless with a Wireless router? is it the same steps as the psp basically because i used to have one and it worked great.
