getting a store to pricematch without another stores ad?

i am only able to buy things from B&M stores, no online since i have no credit card. with that, i usually grab another stores ad and then head to the select store that i like to buy from and show them the ad and have them pricematch, well this week i am unable to grab an ad. how do i go about getting the store to pricematch what i want from another store, is it as easy as saying to them to call the store?

If you go to Best Buy they will look at up the product on the competitors website for you.

I have had them price match things from amazon.com and they don't have ads, obviously, so they will look it up. Today I had them price match Mass Effect since it's on sale at K-Mart and didn't get a K-Mart ad so I printed out the K-Mart web page and they let me use it. Funny thing tho, they went and checked that the competitor actually had it in stock before they would go through and match it, never had that happen before.
