Brak - did you ever get that Nina Persson mp3 from Amazon?
Yeah, thanks.
Frosty, no I haven't, sorry.

I have a bunch of shit to ship to various people in NY, but I just haven't gotten around to it. Actually, it boils down to I just keep forgetting to grab it before I leave for work.
call the cops and tell them the shit... as long as you provide enough info, i'm sure the cops would be able to verify with the pawn shops.
Hey...does anyone know anything about pawnshops? Like, they keep records of people who sold them stuff, correct?

My sitch: A bunch of my shit went missing, including some games. I checked around a few gamestops, but they were no help. A friend ratted out what I suspected: A neighbor was stealing small shit from me (but that also includes Pixie's Debit card and a 30" television from my basement), but I had no proof.

What I'm thinking is I can check with the three local pawnshops (since I know who did it) and have them check the name and my list of items. (I made a custom graphic for my WiiSports and put it in a DVD case; I suspect having that file would be proof enough...but who'd steal WiiSports in the first place?)

This has been going on over the past four weeks, and I never called the police because, well, it felt silly that games were taken from my living room, but none of the systems were touched. I'm thinking if I can find the pawn shop and prove that he sold the things there, I can then file charges if needed, but I really just want my stuff back. But, I'm not sure if the pawn shops will even confirm or deny the info.
that sucks! there's supposed to be some sort of records, but i'm not sure what they are. i do know that if you file a police report that they can contact the pawn shops. my mom had some jewelry stolen by one of her ex boyfriends and the police were able to check with all pawn shops within X number of miles. not exactly sure how that works but i do know that was the gist of it.

boo! you're ruining coxmas!
How is he ricocheting off of chimneys, and shit?
I have no idea. Can you double jump? I've never tried it.

Thanks Frosty and Chika. Honestly, I didn't want to get the police involved if I didn't have to (the neighbor that is doing this is into some shit, including dealing and I know he likes his guns). I guess I could call the police and ask them how they think I should handle it (file a report, etc.) Relatively speaking, I know this isn't a big deal, and I hate wasting the police's time; I'm more than happy to do the legwork for them.

And yes, I know I ruined coxmas. I might be different this year and actually put up our Christmas tree today for the first time in three years.
How would Temp know? He doesn't have a PS3 to play it on and doesn't want to buy one for Uncharted.
I meant TMK, I have no clue why I said Temp. :dunce:
Is it just me, or did budge call TMK "temp"?
I have no clue why I did that.

There's a version of Carnival, where one of the guys sings it instead. It's straight-up clebuh.
I could never really get into The Cardigans. I guess I probably haven't heard anything other than one song or two. Any suggestions where to start?
Their album, Gran Turismo, is off the chain.

I'm actually part Swedish, myself, so I could just chameleon myself into a conversation with a Swedish dame.

All I'd need is a knitted flap cap, knitted scarf and some hair bleach.
Damn, haven't heard anything by him in a long time...
:applause: @ the 40 YOV reference...

But James Ingram is still TN,TD regardless of that movie
Nothing against him, but if I hear "Yah Mo B There" one more time, I'm going to "yah mo" burn this place to the ground.
heh, I mostly remember when I Don't Have the Heart was being played every other song back in the day

Back in the days, I gave my dad the hardest stare when he brought that game home from Video Watch.
Brak, would you smash a sweedish/Italian minx if she had already smashed 50 unknown dudes?
That's a really hard question...

She'd probably not tell him that though.

Mods - are there rules about bumping up old threads? That fucking Leveskikesko guy is going ape shit bumping up all his old threads (which were all shitty to begin with). He has bumped four or five threads in the General Gaming Forum and one in the Off Topic.
I got that shit on LOCK.
I don't think I'd smash a girl after The Mana Knight. :cold:
