Yeah, some of the prices are pretty crazy. I picked up Batman: AA from the site, but it was on sale for about $10 at the time. Know what really burns me though? They *still* do not have Halo 2 for the PC listed for sale. Why not?

Updated the main post with today's deal. I do not have access to the client, so if somebody could post the MS Point price (the prices will vary by region, so preferably from Canada) I will update the first post.

GTA IV still seems to be 11.99, probably a glitch but get on it while you can, I just picked up a copy with borderlands.

Well, it's either an error or intentional because all of this weeks deals are still active, GTA is still 11.99, borderlands is still 9.99, and AA is still 11.99.

Edit: it's definitely an error, in order to see the sale price you must search for the game, however adding to the cart shows full price. The games' home pages show full retail price, but the search pages still show sale prices.

Another Edit: Borderlands seems to be the only one acting this way. GTAIV and AA are still 11.99 when added to the cart.

It's not on the site, but Age of Empires 3 is $0.10 or 10 MS points if you access the marketplace via the GFWL client right now.

They'd better do 7 more sales like this... is anything they sell not a multiple of 80? also with the current points sale at the superstore, this just cost me 10.7 cents, tax included. :)

Points have been on sale since last friday/saturday(?)(over a week ago), I assume the sale is on until this thursday. But I think tax free ends tonight.

1400pt cards are $15($5 off).
2800pt cards are $35($5 off).

Obviously you want the 1400pt cards.

YES! I've been looking for this game for a while, then I can use my leftover microsoft points from XBL? This is a Steal.

Anyone having issues with AoE III? Purchased, downloaded but when I go to install it prompts for a CD-Key. When I go look at the purchase in the client it says no key assigned. D'oh!

Thanks for the info about the point cards, wish I'd known when tax free was on. Ah well, might go get one or two tomorrow anyway.

Are you looking under the right section? I also have the "no key assigned" part but only under the "Live Access Code" section.
Yeah...I have "No Key Assigned" for both sections. Judging from their forums I'm not the only one though.
Same here, you're apparently supposed to email support about it, or call them, but from the number of issues the phone lines are apparently upwards of 30 minutes :p I left them an email.

On the GFWL forums, one of the staff members mentioned that they ran out of keys due to the popularity of the sale, but will be getting more keys in about a week's time.

Haha oh dear. Revamp or not I suppose it goes to show that Game for Windows Live isn't quite ready for prime time....either that or we're just spoiled by Steam ;-)

Spoiled by Steam? This has happened on multiple occasions on Steam over the last year. Usually, Valve just ends the sale rather than issuing or obtaining more keys. I think MS should be commended for not just capping the sale when they ran out of keys.

GFWL still has some kinks to work out, but it's on the right track.

Well I snagged a copy, but I won't know if it's going to work for quite some time, since I have a Mac and it's clearly not a 'Games for Mac' sale heh.

when did valve end the sale? i think that was for the witcher, but all the other times the sale keeps going & people sit there waiting for keys (they appear in a couple days, like fuel)

seems it's up to the publisher

Due to the overwhelming success of the Age of Empires III sale, we temporarily ran out of keys to unlock the game during the sale. If you purchased the game during the sales period, you will get a key in the next week. When new keys are added to the system you will be auto-assigned a key. There is no need to call support or take any other action from your end. We will post information on the forums and on the website when the keys are available and the next time you click 'View Game Keys' for the game you should be assigned one.
