Shattered Dimensions wasn't horrible, but it was far from good. The combat was awful. It was a huge step down from the combat in Web of Shadows. I do love me some NPH and Spider-Man 2099 though.


I keep on trying to convince myself I need a 3DS

The art for some of the characters in 3s is horrendous and the music is all around terrible, the only exception being Q's theme. So I can definitely stomach bad art and music quite a bit if my love for the gameplay is there.

I'll likely either trade it in or give it as a Christmas gift. If the "swag" they mentioned turns out to be one of the DC Direct figs I'll display it, but if it's anything else I'll likely just throw it to my brothers. They've had some really disappointing swag over the last couple of months.

I'm not meaning to complain, it's just that some of the stuff they send out seems like it's geared towards kids (which makes sense I guess, considering everything is family oriented) and I just end up throwing it out because I don't know any really young kids that would like to have toy plastic sunglasses or a crappy poster and my Goodwill won't accept it.

Totally love all the games, though. It was great getting Infamous 2 and trading in to get some awesome shit for the backlog.

I played the demo again, made it past the combat part. The 2D platforming parts are so fucking good. Seriously. fuck the combat, fuck the 3rd person parts. Just make this game sidescrolling only, no combat, and I'd buy it right now.

The same way the new commercials aren't really pushing the 3D aspect and are more pushing "Look, new mario kart, new super mario, etc." instead of "WOW it's 3D without glasses".

I could see Nintendo re-branding the 3DS as like the DS-SD or something like that, which would be a 3DS without the 3D, a better battery life and a wider touch screen. But a second analog stick is out of the question.
