I'm playing Dead Rising for the first time in an exact year by accident.

I don't plan these great events in my life.

Hey, if anyone didn't take a NOS bullet on my behalf yet, you don't have to -- I stopped at a random Hess station on my way out of snowstorm hell and they had one; I made sure it had the yellow ring around the top that mentions the code under the tab now.

I just chased down one of those giant bat monsters and
the box that was supposed to have the cross in it was empty.
So I'm not too far into it, I was just spending some time screwing around. I find it funny that the vampires take humans as hostages, as if that would stop me from slaughtering their vampiric ass. Half the time I end up accidentally killing all the humans in the crossfire.

So far it's pretty good, but I never played Infamous 2 because I was too stubborn to pick it up after that pre-order DLC bullshit.
Now I own it since I got the Infamous 2 bundle when my PS3 broke.
So it's a major improvement for me gameplay-wise, but his voice sounds really weird.
 
I think I'll go back and play Torchlight. I didn't get very far in it, but I enjoyed what I played of it.

Played a couple of more Joe Danger levels, and I think I'm getting close to my peak with that game. Beating that game would require me to go back and play roughly 4 levels to get an additional star or two each in order to get through the end of it. Great game though.
 
Yeah, Mushihimesama Futari is amazing. I play a ton of shmups and I'd have to say that's pretty near the top of the heap.

Though I still can't finish it on one credit (I can only get like 3/4 of the way through the last stage before dying). Oh well.

Maybe I should try playing while sober.

Yay, I'm back home. Had a good night. No chicks, though a hot looking Snow White chatted me up for a bit. I should've locked her down. . .But I was eyeballing my usual interest that I can't give up on. Woe is me.

Talked to some dude dressed as Link about Skyrim, saw Kano and Keith Stone sharing a pitcher of beer, and a big ass Yoda bought me a drink. Not a bad night.

Now I'm hungry.

It's good. It's a great intro to bullet hell shmups in that it's really fun, really pretty, and not as maddeningly difficult as most of Cave's other shooters. For $25? Yes, you should buy it.

Though really, y'all should be considering buying Dodonpachi Resurrection when it comes out next month in Europe. It's region-free, and the game is fantastic. Definitely one of Cave's easiest shooters, too... so some of you can finish it!

Aaaannnd Rising Star (the UK publisher) just announced that they're going to be releasing Akai Katana (Cave's latest game) in Europe. It's presumably region free.

Guess I'm not importing that one!

Or uh... from Japan, at least. Still have to import it from Europe.

Edit: Why is it that Europe is so awesome these days? Or rather, why are US publishers run by stank-ass hoes with no interest in quality?

Yeah the big party was friday night. It was a lot of fun. Last night I went to a different Halloween party but didn't dress up much because it was snowing like crazy (so I just wore regular clothes and a Dennis Rodman mask). Both nights were good though - today I am just relaxing watching football all day and playing some Dragon Age.

I only played through 1-1 in sidescroller, but I thought it was fun... I should get my $8 out of it.

I figured it was worth picking up, especially since everyone who had played it seemed to have enjoyed it. Plus $8 is cheaper than the $40 I was going to spend to rebuy CoE.

I'm stuck on stage 1-3 :( I can't get past
the part where lava is dropping from both sides and you're stuck in this area where those flowers spawn from three spots, and then spawn again after you kill the first batch.
 
I'm really liking the first Dead Rising. Maybe it's cuz I have a guide and everything is a bit more organized because of it, but I'm having way more going through the story than I did a year ago.

All the hype on new releases that all my friends are getting sucked into, well they're taking me with them. I'm also getting started on Arkham Asylum again; I had lost all my saves that didn't have cloud support after my laptop crashed awhile back, so I was kind of crushed for awhile, with rehab, counseling, etc.. :(

Yeah, that's a good spot for the bombs, though I tend to have trouble getting to that point on Normal.

these B2G1 deals seem like expensive overkill. all these games will be half price by the time you even get to playing your 3rd game.

guess it's nice if you're shopping for gifts.

Well it's good if you want to buy games that have already dropped in price. Or something like DS games or Nintendo games that don't really drop in price ever.
 
Today's been crazy as shit. Carved up some pumpkins and spat some serious game.

Then watched as a fleet of police cars and ambulances screamed down my road because there were apparently some murders or something, I have no fucking idea what that was about.
