That GGT seems ridiculously boring. I like our more free-form GGT.

So, playing more Skyrim today, hopefully. Don't know how much my brother's birthday may change those plans.

Wow, what a difference 5 years makes.

I don't have enough time in the day...big backlog and I didn't get a chance to play nuthin' last night.

Can't wait for Vita next month! :p

The fact that Chac of all people said this makes me lol: "but try and keep negativity out of the equation. This is the anti-CAG discussion in that it's supposed to be positive and helpful."

Also, Josh, I'm giving you another homework assignment soon.
I'll actually do my homework unlike you. You still haven't watched Seven Samurai, tsk tsk.

The Darkness II looking promising:
Indeed, it is one of my most anticipated games of Q1.

I never finished the Darkness. Got to the flashback WW1 part and quit.
Looking at that thread I'm so glad jer doesn't post here anymore.
We should try to get him back in here.
That's because history is boring, but it's important because it's history.
Sounds about right .
I would be playing stuff, but I didn't get enough sleep last night because I couldn't stop talking to JSP.
I think it's time to hook up.
God, I was so young during the GGTcast series one.

You're still young.

Did you watch 300 yet?
Feels bad, man.
Oh well, better than Budweiser, I suppose.

Homework assigment? This isn't Project Mayhem and you are not Mr. Durden. :p
Budweiser and Bud Light and their derivatives all suck so much dick. Shit tastes awful.

He's not Mr. Durden, but rather Mr. DURRRRRden.

Yeah, that's why I stopped. That part sucked.

Make sure you strap up. Though honestly, I'm sure JSP has more to worry about than you do. ;)

Also Illinois sucks ass too.

Not sure what the second one says, babelfish sucks and spouted out gibberish for it.
But you're right, Yuengling doesn't taste good.
Yeah, that's why I stopped. That part sucked.
I'm sure you've played through something worse. Hell, you played through the new Bionic Commando twice. :p
Hell, did you ever play and finish the original Max Payne -- the nightmare sections in are probably a good example. ;)
I remember the worst parts of The Darkness being maybe the 3rd flashback and the initial sections before you get your powers. Then again, I was playing on the hardest setting cause I'm a trophy/achievement whore. ;)
I really don't remember the first flashback being that bad. I'm watching a clip on youtube now -- the worst was the open field part when you don't really have an objective marked.

But I actually liked Bionic Commando.

Yeah, I finished Max Payne, those nightmare levels were highly annoying. Then you'd fall and hear the baby cry WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Highly annoying.

Better. Trojan Magnum XLs for you.

Fun fact: My custom team in Madden 2002 was named the Trojan Magnums.

You must not have visited Arkansas (or maybe you have if you are "strapping up"). There is definitely more than one armpit in America.
CAG should strike on Jan 18th, y'know... if they're cool.

But CAG is not cool.

I get a sense of self gratification along with the potential to learn something great because The Crotch might post a better analysis than myself in response.

feedback is nice, is all.

People have been bringing up DA2 so much lately - and I've been forcing myself into conversations about it like a facehugger on John Hurt - that taking another run at it is a frightening prospect. I miss when the only game I ranted about was Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. fuck Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, by the way.

Also, it's spelled "Qunari".
Yeah, what shrike said.
Plenty of other places to move to.

That pic made me remember that when I was at BB earlier, there was a floor display near the register for Twilight-branded hair appliances. :puke: I mean, really, people would buy that stuff?
Also Illinois sucks ass too.
Southern Illinois isn't as bad as other parts of Illinois.
Hell, did you ever play and finish the original Max Payne -- the nightmare sections in are probably a good example. ;)
I still have a save on the Xbox version at that point when I gave up in disgust.
I know. It just bothers me that there could be a place that exists that is SO BAD. Tennesseee is heavenly.
I agree that Tennessee > Kansas. Not a hard comparison there.

Yeah you always make really interesting points regarding lore and everything, and I don't even think I know the the game well enough in that regard. Though it is hard to incorporate everything into a basic overview.
Though it is hard to incorporate everything into a basic overview.
Hell, get me a good camera and some human bones and I'll give you a god damn Plinkett review of the game.

Agreed. Maybe I should've said northern IL sucks a fat dick.

Because it does. Closer you get to Chicago, the more dire things are.
nice.... I love Yueng. I am a southeastern PA boy after all.
Whiter than snow.

Just like me.

Ay, yo, mass effect fans - http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/323/index/8975536

1) Will Origin be a requirement to play all versions of Mass Effect 3? (Digital and/or from a retail brick and mortar store)
Yes, Origin is required for all PC editions of Mass Effect 3, physical or digital.

2) Is constant Origin connection required or is it a single one off authentication when the game is first installed. Is there also a limit to the number of installations available?
Mass Effect 3 will require a one time, single authorization for the single player game. There is no limit to the number of installs. Playing Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer will require a constant connection.

3) Is Origin required for the retail versions of the game?
Origin is required for the PC versions of Mass Effect 3, both physical and digital.

4) Will ME3 be available on Steam?
During initial release Mass Effect 3 will be available on Origin and a number of other 3rd party digital retailers, but not on Steam at this time. Steam has adopted a set of restrictive terms of service which limit how developers interact with customers to deliver patches and other downloadable content. We are intent on providing Mass Effect to players with the best possible experience no matter where they purchase or play their game, and are happy to partner with any download service that does not restrict our ability to connect directly with our consumers.

5) Is there an opt in or opt out clause for data collection?
Users will be allowed to opt-out of Mass Effect 3 data collection from inside the game.

6) I’ve seen reports that Origin is spyware. Is this true?
Origin is not spyware, and does not use or install spyware on user’s machines. In order to allow Origin to install games and their patches for everyone to use, Origin implements a permission change that results in Windows, not Origin, reviewing the filenames in the ProgramData/Origin folder. This is an ordinary Windows function, not an information-gathering process.

7) Has the Origin EULA been updated following recent questions in Germany?
The German Origin EULA has been updated. For more information, please review the Origin EULA here: http://www.ea.com/1/product-eulas.

8) Is there a double-opt in for Mass Effect 3 marketing emails for German residents?
Yes, we always adhere to the German requirement of a double opt-in standard for marketing emails. Mass Effect 3 users must opt-in twice to receive these emails.

Eh. I really don't give a fuck about the "Origin controversy".

Though the constantly increasing amount of shit I have to install just to play a damn game is irritating.
Though the constantly increasing amount of shit I have to install just to play a damn game is irritating.
Pretty much my main issue.

Competition = good.
Having to install something from every fucking digital service I buy from = BAD.

It's just the way EA is bad mouthing Steam when you know they just want you to use Origin.
