Wait, there's a demo for RE6? :p
I thought it was coming out tomorrow but apparently joystiq says the 18th now or you can dl it via the way distgx showed me with a usb download.
The campaign in Fall of Cybertron has some nice set pieces. It's a lot of fun so far.
Best transformers game I have ever played. Grimlock was the best the only thing I wish they had were more levels per character.

Whaaaat, better than the PS2 one from Atari?

Uh can you be starscream and wear a crown on the PS2 version?

That depends... have you played it?

Is that a dig at...

Actually I'm not sure what that's a dig at. That's a dig at something, right?

EDIT: Also, P-Faust, I want to Tribes.
That doesn't even make any sense.
When I was reading up on SSDs a few months back, it seemed that you didn't want to do anything where lots of writes were being made to the HDD. Maybe he's referencing that? I dunno, though, I wouldn't think Tribes (or a large majority of games) would be using a lot of writes to the HDD unless you have swap/pagefile enabled.

"We are very proud of the way EA evolved with consumers," Gibeau said. "I have not green lit one game to be developed as a single player experience. Today, all of our games include online applications and digital services that make them live 24/7/365."

Speaking of shoehorning online features into what could of been great single player experiences, has anyone played Spec Ops: The Line? I hear it's very interesting, though unfortunately not performing well in sales.

I initially dismissed it because of how it was advertised, but I'm hearing cool stuff about it now.

You read that "Spec Ops' multiplayer was a cancerous tumour" thing, too?

I actually almost bought it an hour ago, but I've heard that the campaign - while great - is also shorter than my dick.

We're going to need references for that.

Also, are you done planting trees or what the fuck?

Done as a motherfuck.

Also, more quotes stolen from this morning's Escapist:

"After spending much time and effort defending its policy on always-on DRM, Ubisoft has announced that it will be dropping its always-on DRM effective immediately... When reminded that in the past Ubisoft had claimed that always-on DRM had resulted in a clear reduction in piracy, Perotti called Ubisoft's previous claim 'an unfortunate comment.'"

"Increased attention to after-sales profit opportunities is a big part of Capcom's strategy. Development teams will be working on sequels and DLC at the same time they're putting together the main launch. 15 titles in 10 years is their target, with popular content spreading out into every possible gaming niche. Smartphone apps, merch, concerts, film; Capcom intends to spread the love as much as physically possible."

We were almost Spec Ops bros.

Instead, I'm sitting here watching Heart of the Swarm streams. Of terran and zerg, because no good protoss are streaming it. Apparently, the starting set of workers automatically split themselves and start mining. And the game now tells you how many workers are at a nexus and are at each geyser.

Also, tempests look dumb.

EDIT: Also, I missed MC Vs Jaedong. But they both got destroyed, apparently.

I just imagined you hovering over an "Add to Cart" button, and then looking down at your crotch.

Honestly, these sound like logical changes. It should stop pretending to be what it's not, and streamlining things further may gave it a bit more of its own identity.

I imagined him at the store and whipping his dick out to compare it to Spec Ops.

And then like, getting arrested or something.

The auto-mine doesn't bother me too much. It has one obvious benefit, taking the advantage away from fast-loading players, but there were other ways to do that. Actually putting a 3/3 on top of a gas geyser? That's a bit much.

Absolutely loving the early-game recall from the mothership core, but other than that unit, protoss look... worse? The mothership herself has been nerfed heavily, and I'd rather make SC2's shitty version of the carrier than the tempest.

I watched my friend play through Spec Ops the Line twice in a weekend. It's basically an average 3rd person shooter with a cool setting and interesting story. He said Binary Domain is a better game in every way.

Just food for thought.

Too lazy to install it again because I have a new SSD. New SSD= restructured HDD for PC optimization.

Spec Ops is a better version of Socom 4, but that isn't saying much. The story is pretty damn cool because it shows the impact of war on a person, but gameplay is extremely lackluster. MP is even worse :(

Jumped on that deal for Mass Effect 3. For some reason this game is running like shit on my PC when there are barely any options for PC adjustments. Something is a mist here, either way it will be back to SWTOR.

You know it's weird, I had no troubles running ME3 on my PC (well the demo, bought it on PS3 because I had a PS3 ME2 save, but I did do the demo with no problems. SWTOR gave me all hell of a problems. Graphic settings would not actually work or do anything, and the problem of the game maxed out my processor 99% of the time.

SWTOR engine is weird in that it is more dependent on a CPU than a high end GPU (because the game maxs at a certain point).

Bioware has fixed a majority of the issues with SWTOR, so the graphical optimization is a lot better than it was at launch.

I haven't checked anything out yet on ME3, though I have changed the FOV. I am spoiled from SWTOR from being able to change my camera zoom in/out. ME3 is on tunnel vision galore, all I see is Shepard and a crosshair. How do you expect me to shoot at something when half the screen is covered? All games should have the ability to change the FOV (from 70-120 at the very least).

Finally, White-Ra streaming Heart of the Swarm.

Tempests have an alright voice. They're one of the worst units in a straight-up fight, yet they're the only thing in the protoss army that doesn't shit itself "WE CAN NOT HOLD!"-style the second a marine starts plinking away at it.

EDIT: Scratch that. They do a "Hull integrity failing!" thing when they're under attack.

God, I hate that.

I don't really know. I don't think I did much enemy stepping in DMC3.

Hopefully DmC takes out it and replaces it with dubstep.
im trading in my copy of xenoblade for 30 bucks, does this make me a bad person?
No. Sneaking around on these forums makes you a bad person.
