GGT #20 suggests that you blow it before inserting
Yeah we get it are you going to actually explain why you didn't like it or just keep posting the same shit
It's an inferior game. I'm sure there were more "improvements" from what I experienced, but melee weapons sucked, the movement felt clunky, the new special infected were lame... nothing was nearly as good as the first. It felt like they rushed to get the game out the door in a year and were trying so hard to prove it wasn't something that should've been DLC that they fucked up the things they'd gotten right in the first one.

Well played,

There aren't that many sony nuts that would buy a book like that, but the ones that are are fucking nuts. So charge more.

You can have my copy of Scribblenauts. It's terrible!

Just kidding.
You can't have it.

Amazon has the art book for 40.95

Still ridiculous that the Amazon sale price for the Uncharted book is the retail price of the awesome Capcom art books.

It's been about a month since my PS3 broke and I have yet to fix it. I'm surprised I haven't yet and don't really care about doing so...

It was about the same for me. I'm kinda disappointed I don't care, and unless I find a really cheap replacement laser it may be awhile until I fix it.

i paid $54 for l4d2 used -.- oh wait thats not all! 2 weeks later it goes down to $35 with the ea code, and that one was new! [/rant]

about an hour or so of work, i'd recommend getting the lens+deck, makes things easier.

though i've already got the torx needed from fixing my 360 several times, so that's an added cost if you don't have the right screwdrivers

gamers fix ships out of FL, i ordered on a saturday, had my lens+deck on wednesday

Was playing some Splinter Cell Conviction last night...I really hate when the last checkpoint is right before a cut scene you can't skip. That's just bad design, IMO.

Do any of you have any experience with the Droid? I'm really considering switching to Verizon just for that phone because I like it so much. I can get an upgrade with Sprint right now if I want, but there's honestly nothing that appeals to me. Their new HTC Evo that's coming out seems alright but I hate an all touchscreen phone, I need my QWERTY keyboard =) The only thing stopping me from switching right now is the fact that I don't pay ANYTHING for my current phone plan, and if I switch to verizon, my plan would run around $100..

The Moto Droid is alright -- it's what chika has right now and she's liking it a lot. Base plan runs about $80, I think, for 450 minutes, unlimited data, no texts. With a google voice number, you could do SMS for free, if you properly configure your phone and deal with getting your contacts to use the correct number.

Your requirement for a physical keyboard is strange to me, but the Moto Droid might be your best bet. I'm actually so interested in the HTC EVO that I'm considering changing to Sprint. But I'm not sure how strong their network is in this area at the moment. :(
I also was considering the HTC Incredible on Verizon, as it's a vastly superior piece of HW compared to the Moto Droid, but also moot for your purpose, since your require a physical qwerty keyboard.

Nothing strange about a physical keyboard requirement. If one does a lot of texting, it's a huge help as they're much easier to type on than on screen keyboards on touch screens.

I'd stick with Sprint if it was me though--can't go from free to $100 a month just to get a fancier phone and better network coverage IMO.

That's like, your opinion, man. I personally find the smaller jammed together qwerty buttons much harder to use than a specialized on screen keyboard. So to me, it's strange. :p

Fair enough.

I have an LG voyager, and have no problems typing with it. Where as I hate trying to use the touch keyboard on friends iPhones.

But I do agree that some qwerty pads on phones--like Blackberries with 2 letters per key etc. do suck.

But a nice big one like on the Voyager--where it's pretty much the same size as the keyboard on the iPhone and thus not small nor jammed together--to be the best. I hit wrong keys much more often on the iPhone--or on a jammed together keyboard on some blackberries etc.

Getting to be kind of moot for me since I don't text that much any more anyway, and will never own a smart phone of any kind. I'm near a desktop or laptop the vast majority of the time and don't want or need the internet and e-mail with me when I do get away from my computers!

I can type reasonably fast on my blackberry 8350i (work phone). My personal phone though is an iphone 3G. I don't really care for the touchscreen keypad on that.

I can see how the keyboard thing is weird, almost everyone I know has an iphone or touchscreen phone, it's the new "In" thing. Being that Im a woman, and my hands are smaller than an average male hand, typing on the QWERTY is easier and faster to me, and I'm literally texting like 90% of the day.

I may be able to sway my boyfriend over to Verizon since their running a special where if you buy one droid you get one free =)

I guess in the end it all comes down to if I want to pay for a phone bill or not. It would help if there was an actual release date for the EVO, since I could just shove my pickyness aside and at least give it a try.

EVO is supposed to be this summer. If you want to see what an EVO would be like, check out the Verizon HTC ncredible, which releases Thursday. They're almost the same phone, except the HW under the hood for the EVO is superior in terms of video capture quality and the 4G capability.

If you do decide to jump ship, your best bet is to get the droids this way:

http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-A855..._1_1?ie=UTF8&s=wireless&qid=1272401978&sr=1-1

$20 w/ 2 year contract.
Your only catch would be if you wanted on the same plan...

All tis phone talk makes me realzie how outdated my phone is...

Giantbomb's Halo Reach preview has gotten me interested in the game. Now I think I might pick it up at launch.

WOOO! I just got an awesome email from GS and I won a Kratos mask! I can't wait to get it so I can go out at night and scare the neighborhood children!

Still slowly working my way thru Chapter 11 of FFXIII.

I did get my new computer rig up and running this past weekend. I now have something powerful enough to run Starcraft 2, so I'm totally excited about that. I love the new 27' monitor (I've had the same 17' monitor for about 9 years, its a big change for me). I just have to get some better speakers, but that can wait since I've never really been an audiophile.

it's like Double Dragon but you only fight one guy. The fun part about Double Dragon was fighting tons of guys, not just one.

I haven't gotten it yet so I can't take pics, but here's a pic of it I found online.

Beef, Zeus isn't the only name I'm going to yell! I'm going to be constantly screaming Pantheon names! HERA! I'm also going to see what happens if I run around with blades attached to my arms by chains.
