I didn't even give two shits about the characters or story in DmC, I was just disappointed with how it played. If it were a spin-off, I wouldn't mind it existing, but this is supposed to replace the DMC series.

All of their games are at the bottom of whatever genre they're in.

Pretty much this honestly. I liked the gameplay itself but as a DmC game, it just wasn't good. They tried to focus on the characters but the game never makes you actually care about that. I liked Kat, but I don't really care about her.

Like Panzer said, the humor just wasn't there after Chapter 8 or so, which is before the halfway mark. The club part was... interesting, but not really funny.

Saw in the old thread people talking about their goty. Mine was definitely Far Cry 3. I'm not a do-every-small-task guy, but that game was so fun I spent more time on the side quests than the main! Broke my heart to trade it in, but I wanted my Vita...

I paid $5 for my copy and can't imagine paying anything more for that trash.
