Haha yeah, it was actually really fun, that was just some of the worst lag I've ever seen in my life when it happened those 2 times, outside of that I was having a blast :D Would be awesome to do something like that again sometime.

Hell, it's been ridiculously warm here in NY lately too.

I do not like temperatures 80 or above, generally.

I prefer 60s/70s.

Then again, I'm a snowman. ;)
I'm with you on the temperature. 80s or above is only good if you're going swimming.

JRPGs can have GOOD endings?
I thought Arc Rise Fantasia actually had some good stuff in the ending, not that anyone else here even played that game, let alone got to the ending. But yeah, it's hard enough to find JRPGs with a good story, let alone a good ending. At least most Tales games entertain me by being funny (mostly unintentionally).

I fell asleep playing project x zone and left it on I hope this doesn't reflect poorly when I post my stats on projectxzone.forums.coolbros and I'm made fun of for taking an extra 7 hours to beat this game. I don't even want to show my face over there now I'm so embarrassed.

Arc what who?

Dragon's Dogma had a great ending. In fact, it had two great endings.

That's a JRPG right?

GOTY.

Tales of Xillia 2 is coming to the west. The first one isn't even out yet! Not that i'm complaining.

Where's Lux? :p

I bet he'll be all over this.

Dragon's Dogma isn't even a game.

It's an experience.

Yessssssssssssssssssss. I honestly didn't think they would bring the second one over. I'm so happy to see that they are, especially since I've read that the sequel is better than the first one. ^_^

I've played the MH3 Demos for 3DS and WiiU twice each and I still feel like I'm completely missing something about the gameplay. Everything seems so awkward to do.
IKR?

Oh that's his name. I always just called him green ranger yeah I would pass on that too I like the little ninja but not $50 that much. I would only pay that amount of money for a keiji inafune autograph and a handy afterwards

Just beat Project X-Zone at around the 50 hour mark. The final 2 chapters are really though, but so much fun. GOTY so far.

I kinda wanna play some of the games that these characters come from, like God Eater, Resonance of Fate, Valkryia Chronicles, Super Robot Wars, etc.

Huh, that's cool, I have the first one ordered as well. I still need to beat Graces though.

The demo doesn't do it justice, it's easily one of my favorite games, there's so much content in there and they don't show you any of the gathering/crafting side of things in the demo.

Oh come on no one has heard of those games until project x zone came out
I know (or at least know of the game they're from) most of the characters in the game :p

Well I guess having never played a full Monster Hunter game I don't really know what to expect. The combat seems like a more janky version Demon Souls. I've tried getting into the demo a couple of times but each time no dice.

It sounds like he didn't like the engine/movement/combat -- I don't think the crafting/gathering is going to sell someone like that (it didn't work for me at least :p)

That's what I went in thinking -- hey, this is going to be kind of like Demon's/Dark Souls. But it wasn't. The combat was slow and limited... there wasn't a lot of variety in movesets, etc. This was the deal breaker for me, as I found it boring and unengaging. More power to those who like it and get their money's worth out of it... it's just not for me.

Soul Sacrifice, on the other hand, is a bit faster paced and you can use a multitude of different spells, so the variety in combat is good enough that it kept me engaged. If you did pick up a Vita, check out the Soul Sacrifice demo.

I see what you're saying, personally I love the combat in the games but it's really everything coming together that does it for me, needing that one last piece to be able to complete your armor set or weapon just makes it that much more rewarding after you down a giant boss and it finally drops.

While that could be true, I just still think the demo really didn't have a lot of stuff that would help new people out, like it didn't have any gathering/kill small enemies quests, just bosses, it didn't have any multiplayer which is like one of the biggest things about that game, and a couple of other things. Granted, if you really can't get into the moving fighting none of that would really matter to you.

Never played a monster hunter game? That's because you're american and they don't release them in america. fuck YOU CAPCOM JAPAN

OMGOMGOMG ANDERSON SILVA in two hours and then curleh mustache tomorrow. I hope indidawg gets on xbox live so we can party chat

If he only had the 3DS, he wouldn't be able to get online anyway, right? I thought you needed a Wii U to make it work online or something?

Yeah, he said he tried both versions of the demo though and I know he has both systems since he is on my friends list though, but you are correct that if you only have the 3DS version there is no way to play online without a Wii U, but they could have had local multi in the 3DS demo and online in the Wii U demo to at least have a sample of the multiplayer.

So I started up Hitman Absolution and I like it. It feels pretty reminiscent of Splinter Cell: Conviction. By which I mean, you don't have to worry about shit anymore. You can play however the fuck you want and the game doesn't really penalize you at all. I like that. I adore the stealth genre, but there is a point at which I just want to destroy everything in sight.

I want to buy it. I just need to get another 300 points before the 8th I'll be cutting it close.

I have like no room on my hard drive for my 360 so I don't know if I'm going to get any of these digital games or not, one of the reasons I like buying discs :/
