I'll take a 360 copy Mr. Mocwie. ^_^

Capcom did almost a billion dollars in revenue, they aren't going bankrupt yet. What they are going to do is start making more mobile games and making you pay for more console content via DLC.
haha, only 1 shipped so far, the other 2 are sitting in Best Buy limbo, it's a scary place

This is Leda's "My grandfather is probably passing away in a couple days" face.

Learn it.

Respect it.

(1) RE6 was solid.

(2) Western games are better, is that what you're inferring? Yeah... DmC all day over MGR:R. And the souls games are straight up garbage when compared to Skyrim or Oblivion.

Souls games are good but not my thing really. Re6 was solid? were u high playin it brah? I'm just sayin that Japanese games are starting to kinda suck a lil now. They need to come back big time! Where da fuq is my Last Guardian!!! Im gettin tired of these lame jrpgs like Tales of Xillia and Time and Eternity. Dragon's Crown was aight but a lil overrated imo.

Dragon's Crown is one of the best games to come out in awhile.

RE6 was a solid 7 or 8. It's nowhere near as bad as people like you make it out to be. Other than a few questions with questionable design, it's overall a solid RE6 and I liked it more than RE5.

Between Japanese games and Indies, I'm set. ;)

Trololol Tales games are fun as hell. Shaddap and go play your CalledtoDootie dudebro.

To be fair, most J-games take a backseat to Western games in sales.

Still to call all of them lame is...well, lame.

I hate Crap of Duty brah. I ain't trolling, I really like Japanese games but even Inafune admits that Japanese games have been kinda sucky lately. There are some good japanese games like: Deadly Premonition, Tokyo Jungle, Hatsune Miku that I like and are good and unique but theres not that much really. Even MGS V is borrowing shit from Splinter Cell doe. Suda 51 hasn't made a good game since No More Heroes. When Capcom makes a good Resident Evil or when Konami finally gets back to the roots of Silent Hill, call me kk?

Sales != Quality.

The West is definitely a bigger market, so there's that.

But whatever. Vanquish > Gears.
Holy moly, we agree on something! You are correct, sir... all day, everyday.

It doesn't need multiplayer though... that's another western convention -- shoehorn multiplayer and coop into everything.

All that aside, I do like Gears multiplayer and I'd rather keep multiplayer in a game like Gears than shoehorn it into Resident Evil (deathmatch, at least -- the co-op mercs was fine/fun) or Dead Space (even though Dead Space 2 multi actually showed promise -- going RE5 with Dead Space 3 didn't feel right either), and Vanquish (thank god they didn't)

Vanquish over Gears, all day erryday.

Crapcom is Crapcom.  They make tons of money but are still having financial problems.  They don't know what the hell they are doing and it's been like that for a long time now.

Anyways, snakeybro acts like RE is only thing J-devs make.  IMO RE was always a shit series...the only game that was really much good was the first one (which was ok, but too reliant on trigger points and one-trick gimmicks) and the fourth one...highly overrated series IMO.  Yes I said it.

I've enjoyed both Vanquish and Gears overall, the co-op in Gears was the main thing that drew me in, I felt they did a great job at making that. I haven't had a problem with RE lately either, I still enjoyed 5 and 6 and while they were different then they used to be I still felt they were enjoyable.

Man, the dentist had to put me on some antibiotics before I get my tooth cut out Tuesday and now my tooth hurts about 300 times more than it was.

I'm definitely mostly into western games given i mainly play shooters and WRPGs, and don't care for action games, fighters or jrpgs.

Japanese devs excel at the skill/gameplay focused stuff hardcore gamers love. Western devs are better at the games that are more about experience, story, cinematic feel etc. With some major exceptions on both sides of course.

In any case I don't think one region is better than the other. Just a matter of what types of games you enjoy most.

Gettin' dat Wind Waker Wii U Bundle next week.

Might get Pikmin 3 before the sale ends.
Having just 100%ed Pikmin 3 a couple days ago, I highly recommend you get it! That game is fantastic. And if you have a Wii Remote + Nunchuck, I would actually recommend playing the game with that (and the gamepad in your lap) since it's the easiest way to control the game IMO. It's one of the few instances of the Wii Remote being useful and not annoying in a traditional style game (same goes for the Wii versions of the first two games)

I really want to grab Pikmin 3 at some point. All I need is a good sale to pop up and I'm on it. Have Lego City Undercover in the mail now, so I'm looking forward to that one.

I actually got Lego City at Dave & Busters with some prize tickets, and it's a lot of fun. I'm not huge into the Lego games, but the open world/GTA style of Lego City makes the Lego gameplay mechanics click with me. Just feels like there's more to do than in the regular Lego games, which get kind of boring for me after a little while. And it's actually made me laugh a bit too.

Both great games, Pikmin is worth it and Lego City was a lot of fun, Pikmins been popping up on AWD, don't know what price you want to spend though

lego games in general are boring, unless you are like 5 yrs old. that is probably the last time i ever played lego

just saw the demo gameplay of evil within, developed by the original creator of resident evil series. It looks like so similar to resident evil, except with the supernatural element, mixed with slient hills.

I know what you mean. I've always found them charming, but the open world style seems really conducive to a good time.

Lego games are... fun. I would play them back in my achievement whoring days and found 'em to be enjoyable. I haven't touched one in years though.

Friend of mine that works at GS was able to save me a copy of the KH 1.5 LE. Sadly, she wasn't able to hold an artbook for me. Totally looking forward to playing KH again. I loved the first game.

Amazon and Target have pikmin 3 on sale this week for $49.99. It's first party so I don't think you'll get better for a while. It is selling well at full price all things considered.

I'll pick up Killzone later on in the year.
I still enjoy the Lego games, went through Batman 2 recently and still have like 3 more to run through....also, the artbook for KH is what comes with the LE, the LE is literally just the artbook with the game, the bonus you won't get is the dynamic theme since that was for preordering

Oh cool, I didn't know it was at 50. I can probably still hold off for a while considering how congested the next few months are gonna be on the games front for me. I'm sure Wonderful 101 will drop faster. Maybe by the time I'm caught up, I'll get lucky and find a B2G1 or something.

Oh, really? Well then. I expected more since my receipt said "KH 1.5 NoArtbook." Well, cool then. I guess I can look for the theme somewhere online if I really want it. I've had the same Persona 4 Dynamic Theme for months now and have been wanting to switch it!

Another one hit wonder that inexplicitly turned into a shit series.
^

I enjoyed Homecoming though. Sure, it was clunky, but it was fun.

I've been playing a bit of Revelations on the 3DS and it seems like that is as close to a true RE game as we will ever get.

The only Resident Evil I enjoyed almost as much as I did Silent Hill 2 was Resident Evil 4. Silent Hill 2 will always be one of my favorite games ever. It's too bad that after SH3, the series turned into a series of mass-eating black holes.
