Get GTA V.  You know you want to dawg.

My question is, is Fall of Cybertron PS3 worth $30?  Or will it drop more during holiday sales?

Woah CD talk. I have a big rack at home that I loathe at this point. I need to finish ripping the rest and box them up already or get rid of them all together. It's funny though sometimes I wonder why I even keep mp3s at this point with so many ways to listen to music these days.

I've never been able to get into GTA. Gave GTA 3 and 4 15-20 hours each and just couldn't get motivated to finish them.

Anyway, I'm just working through the backlog this fall. Need to finish up Bioshock Infinite currently. Leaning toward playing Heavy Rain after that to get a change of pace from shooters, then Tomb Raider on the PS3 front. After those, probably Infamous 1, and then either the sequel or on to some other stuff in the PS3 backlog--Resistance Trilogy, GT5, bunch of PS+ stuff--Xcom and a bunch of others I can't remember right now.

3DS is down to Fire Emblem to start up next, and Star Fox 64 3D download version. Have the Zelda Oracle games, along with Link's Awakening the original Zelda, but don't know that I'll ever get through all those.

As far as fall releases, probably just Zelda: Link Between Worlds. Maybe Beyond Two Souls if I dig Heavy Rain and it gets good reviews. Nothing else coming out really appeals to me.

Yeah, Spotify is a godsend. Like I said, I barely buy albums period since getting it. Most I buy and barely listen to after the first month anyway.

FOC was pretty awesome but unless you really want to play it now you can wait.

360 version you unlock avatar items if thats your thing.

I hardly touch my 3DS either I still have fire emblem to beat and I've had it since release. I also got link's awakening I got lost so I stopped playing it

It'll most likely be in a clearance bin come holidays, that being said it's probably worth $30 if you are a Transformers fan.

I'm traveling a good this fall, so I hope to get more 3DS time in, at least get through fire emblem.

First trip is a week at my parents in middle of no where WV so will have time to play 3DS some then, other than the weekend of my friend's wedding. Maybe less than expected since the fiancee is coming along so we'll probably do some hiking etc. Also have to take work with me as I have deadline to meet right after the trip.... Second is trip to Amsterdam for a conference. Not much time to play while there, but long flights at least. Have a few other weekend trips where I may have some down time to play.

I'll probably sell it off after Zelda though as I don't really see what else Nintendo would put out that I'd care about--unless they pull a good Metroid game out of their asses anyway. Not interested in Pokemon, Smash Bros, any platformers etc.

I rented and played a little GTA V. I'm no prude but geez these characters swear too much. Also the driving is improved from IV but still shitty. I do like the auto-aiming a bit better. Probably gonna play some more but not gonna buy.

They don't fukkin swear too fukkin much you fukkin prude.  Da fuk you fukkin talkin about?  That shit is just scrutized too fukkin much.  I don even fukkin care.  fukkity fuk fuk fuk.

But yeah, thanks for the advice on FOC all.  I like Transformers, but I can wait on it.

Wii U on Friday.  I am hype!

I'm actually having alot of fun with MGS Peace Walker.

I like the short, simple missions, sneaking around is much easier with this MGS since there seem to be far fewer enemies on the battle field and more hiding spots.

Getting co-op help during the boss and armored vehicle battles is a big plus. (Yet, no tragic villian back story upon their defeat.)

Micro-managing the soldiers at mother base is a bit of a pain though.
Man, I played the shit out of some Peace Walker. If I didn't clock 100 hours, I was damned close. At least 90, for sure. I think the game's a blast. Even better rocking the dual analog on Vita.

Entering PS Plus:
25th September: Far Cry 3
25th September: Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
25th September: Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen
25th September: Street Fighter X Tekken
25th September: Touch My Katamari

Wow, SCEE killing it again.

SCEA for October? Going to be one a week and full of garbage, I'd wager.

I love Way Forward.

Man, I need something to play. Can't decide between grabbing KH HD or getting GTA V.
Support GTA, not KH.
You know that's the right answer. :p

Meh, I've been pretty happy with our PS+ offerings, and see nothing on that SCEE list I'd bother downloading.

In terms of this months games, really looking forward to finally playing ICO.  Didn't want to shell out for the collection as I gave Shadow of the Colossus a go back on PS2 and didn't care for it.  Star Wars Pinball is pretty fun too.

Though I guess the US offerings suck for people who've had a PS3 for a long time and already played a lot of the games they put up.  Great for someone like me who didn't get a PS3 until right around the time PS+ launched though.

New Phoenix Wright coming Oct.24! I haven't played a lawyer game since Apollo Justice. Objection! Video game lawyering is totes more fun than the sleezes IRL.

EU get all dat PSN McLovin'.

I dunno why, must be American guilt trippin' for years of being the best country on Earth, but the video game marketers just flat out refuse to give us good bonuses and freebies. Japan gets all the super bundles and choice Nintendo Club goodies, EU gets all the PSN joy.  Even EU and South American Live customers get better free shit.

EU gets awesome CE editions we're lucky to get steel cases.

Stop changing your av j-cart.

It's a placeholder.

So yeah, this fall best time to be a gamer, worse time to be in a relationship (unless your significant other enjoys games with you).

And guess what game I'll be playing!?

There are games worth playing coming out in the near future? Like what? I think Killzone Mercenary was the last game I cared about for the year and that came out last week. Console launches are almost never good and these two don't look to be changing that up at all. Not sure what else there is...

And you'll still be playing SWTOR, knowing you.

It also sucks for anyone who isn't a casual or likes straight up western games (FPS, WRPG). So pretty much anyone who isn't you or shares your tastes. :p

With that said, I own 3 of those games (both the Vita titles and I have Gianna Sisters on Steam). However, it doesn't change the fact that SCEA is giving me a PSP game and a some poor choice of a retail game for Vita while SCEE has never given a single PSP game out as a Vita freebie and continually gives quality full retail titles (and this stretches beyond Vita, but since I play my Vita most of the time now, that's where I focus...)

Out of that update, I'd want Dragon's Dogma, as I keep holding off buying it because there was a PC rumour. And it's not even the OLD version, it's the NEW version.

So are there a lot of lawyer games to play or something?

I'm dating a lawyer... that's enough lawyering for me.

It's like SCEA wouldn't be SCEA unless they have their heads unfathomably far up their own asses.
It's like a prerequesite for working high up in the SCEA management chain:
"DO YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO IGNORE ALL FEEDBACK FROM YOUR CORE CONSUMERS AND REPEATEDLY MAKE BATSHIT INSANE DECISIONS REGARDING YOUR PRODUCTS?"
"Yes. Yes I do. Why last night I told my wife she looked fat in what she was wearing and told her she needed to lose at least 15 pounds because I wasn't finding her attractive anymore."
"Welcome aboard... you're our new CEO in training. I think you'll do well here."

You're not even remotely interested in KZ: Shadowfall Frosty bro?
Remotely? Sure... but I haven't checked out anything about it since the reveal when it looked like CrysisZone...

And I didn't really like that trailer.

Someday, when I buy a PS4 after a price drop, I'll pick it up as a greatest hits, probably.

But I'm not paying $460 to play it. That's for certain.

So far Mercenary has scratched my Killzone itch and then some.

I haven't played SWTOR all summer :(  Dabbled in that FF14 a bit but alas lack of PvP makes it a secondary game to me.

But you guys know me too well, SWTOR 2.4 in October will introduce 4v4 Arenas.  WOO WOOOO!

True. But it's smart on their part as that's the market they need if they want to beat MS in the US, not hard core gamers.

Is there not a way to just set up your PS+ account as a European one? I know Joel does it with his Live account to get deals in other regions, but I've never looked into it for PS+

I'm much the same, other than not playing Mercenary. I played KZ2 and 3 recently. I was pretty meh on 2 due to wonky control options/settings etc., but liked 3 a lot. Adding snap two cover, ability to set look down the sites to require holding down the button, ability to switch L1/R1 to L2/R2 to use my Pelican real triggers, better graphics and set pieces etc. made 3 a better experience for me.

But no where near enough to grab a PS4 at launch given I have no interest in any of the other launch games, and a good number of games to still get through on PS3. I don't care about competitive MP, and the single player will be just as fun when I pick up the game cheap after getting a PS4 next year.

My Nintendo drive starts this Friday (GS willing).

Other than Sonic and Bayonetta, I don't think there's anything else coming out for Nintendo this year?
I didn't think Bayonetta was this year? If it is, I'll be all over that shit.

I'll likely be grabbing Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 soon; maybe from this Target B1G1. They'll probably get backlogged though.

Pokemon's the heaviest hitter for the fiancee and I. Then I imagine Mario Party for 3DS will do the same.

Other than that, Wind Waker HD, Super Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and TLoZ: Link Between Worlds are all on the list. If Wii Party U ends up good, maybe. We've got enough of party games for the local friends for now though.

PS4 and Watch Dogs won't be helping me. Jury's out on Black Flag.

November 22nd and December 6th respectively. Last I checked anyway.

Gamestop had a tentative January release date for the Deus Ex: Human Revolution director's cut last time I walked over too. I'll be grabbing that on for Wii U too, prolly. Wish it were sooner, as I've been dying to replay.

Wow, my interest for Nintendo has really wained...not really caring much for any of these currently.

Not worth it. Just wait till BF. I'm sure it'll be $15 at Wal-Mart/Best Buy.

Jesus, that is an amazing update. I can't believe they get such amazingness. Actually, more leaning towards KH because of the price difference. I'm also thinking about preodering Batman on PSN instead of at GS, but I'm not sure if I want to because of the download times... blech.

So, I saw the most amazing rack I've seen in a long time today at Wal-Mart. They were big, but not too big. And they bounced just enough to know they were real. It was nice to know such a great rack exists somewhere.

Wow, my interest for Nintendo has really wained...not really caring much for any of these currently.
Same. Though I am interested in Link between Worlds as LTTP is one of my all time faves.

But aside from good Zelda and Metroid games, I just have pretty much no interest in Nintendo anymore. And those aren't near enough to justify a console purchase even if they come out.
