GGT 290 Plays Video Games on Finals Week with McHale and Keighley

You going to be playing for a bit? My controller is dead and now charging. :\

Hell no, buddy.

Just stating that I don't find using a keyboard/mouse to control a game enjoyable.

I'm waiting for the December steam sale. I'm in no rush. But I will definitely buy it.

(1) Good job.

(2) What's the difference between "the ps1 version" and whatever is not "the ps1 version"?

(3) Hahaha, it always sounded interesting -- they didn't really have that strategy when I played the game back in 1999. :)
Really? I never thought you'd be a pad only person.

Took like 20 mins for chris g v FC, took like 2 mins for justin wong.

congrats to justin wong. He's won KI, AE, SFXT, team marvel and single marvel in a bit

It just feels better to me. Though it depends on the genre. I started off with Doom/Quake/Unreal on PC... but once FPS came to consoles like PS3/360... I find I vastly prefer the way it works for me. RTS games and such, I still prefer keyboard/mouse.

(This preferred control method for genres varies... for example, with any 6 button fighter, I will only use a fightstick these days -- some 4 button fighters I can deal with a pad (Tekken) if I'm lazy and want to play but don't want to pull out the fightstick.)

Nice, got in on that free shipping from ThinkGeek and I'm pretty sure I just finished up my Christmas shopping.

Wow.

No wonder you don't play Call of Duty. You aren't mature enough.
How rude, just like someone without a soul would be.

I can agree with this, I used to play a lot of shooters on PC with a mouse and after I played on systems more and more I just do better on those kind of games with a controller, but yeah, some games still work better with kb/m.

Sometimes, I'm worried people in the trading forum won't trade with me due to my feedback.

I know i wouldn't ^_^

You can only offer to trade things you actually have.

You seem like a scammer.

Will be reporting to the mods.

Finished Super Mario 64 with 105 stars (everything except the stupid 100 coins stars).

I think I'll skip Sunshine for the time being since it's so similar to 64.  Maybe Galaxy next.

All good games, been a while since I've played Sunshine myself, would love to see GC digital releases on the Wii U.

I think I managed to get BF4 running on max settings at a stable 60 FPS finally. I thought I would have to upgrade something else. ._.

I lied. I guess it's dependent on the map. I'm hovering 45-60 FPS.

I might have to overclock my CPU but I don't know how the heck to do that. Do I need more RAM? New CPU? Comps are so complicated.
