GGT 294 Is A Miserable Little Pile of Secrets

Tomb Raider is only $5 on Amazon?

That's like, quite possibly my GOTY.

That's like, quite possibly going out to a couple of people.

So Killer Instinct just straight up drops a bot into an online match if you desync with your opponent?

That's straight up hilarious.

Yeah, TLOU is Nolan North's best VA job yet IMO. His creepy ass performance was pretty brilliant.

So who was Tess modeled after? The VA doesn't look much like the character.
From what I could find, it was Annie Wersching:

Is Prey worth $10 or so?

I'm in the middle of tracking down a copy for Steam (they exist!) but it would run me $10 to get it. I've never played the game, but I heard it was a solid shooter with vagina doors.
Anyone care to weigh in? (Y'all probably played it on 360, I'm guessing?)

I remember playing Prey a long time ago (I got it at launch of the 360 as a gift). It was OK, nothing spectacular. 10 bucks seems like a fair enough price.

I loved Prey, got all 1000 achievements in the 360 version, played through it multiple times to get those and did quite a bit of the multiplayer. I've been looking forward to part 2 and wish something concrete would come out for it. But yeah, I got it at launch I believe (The CE even), but if you can find it for $10 I'd say go for it, I liked the whole wall walking/puzzle thing they had going on and the guns/environments were pretty cool.

I'm looking at PC, so I don't think it has achievements...

I'm not even sure if anyone still plays the multiplayer -- but the reviews seem generally good. I'd be importing a physical copy from the UK for about $10 (the CD key activates on Steam).

Speaking of PC games for $10...

I can get Remember Me for $10 at the moment. I know who knows would tell me that was worth it. Has anyone else played it? Is it worth $10?

Yeah, the online is probably dead on PC, I know it basically is on 360. No idea if the PC version was a Windows game or not for cheevos, but just figured I'd point out that I got them all to show that I enjoyed playing the game.

I loved Remember Me. The combat is pretty meh, your standard button masher. But I felt the cyberpunk story and voice acting made up for the combat's shortfall. 10 bucks is a very good price for it.

I bought Prey on 360 from Gamestop years ago, and I thought it was worth that price. It reminded me a lot of last-gen (last-last-gen now?) shooters, which would probably be refreshing in the current world of everything trying to be Gears/CoD/Bioshock.

wasn't prey suppose to get a sequel?
It's been all over the place, it's been canceled, still being made but they are redoing what they had, made by a different company, etc etc etc. I just hope it actually comes out one way or another sometime.

FFXIV doesn't suck honestly. I enjoyed the month+week I put into it. The friends I started it up with didn't play much so I only got one class to 25 or so (was trying to unlock the White Mage).

So, on a more serious note:

Inspirational.

wow I've never seen so someone so atrophied before.

There's a guy in the FGC who plays SF4 with his mouth  his name is broly legs.

Hrmmm... why did I have Joel's number listed under Indignate in my phone? :whistle2:k
I don't think you have my number.

I mean, I never texted you after you gave me yours cuz I was always so nervous to do it so I don't think you ever got mine.

I mean, you need some timing for the combos.

But yeah, for the most part it's a very poor take on Batman combat.

After playing some of the Origins stages in Rayman Legends, I can definitely say I enjoyed Origins's stages much better. I feel like too many of the Legends stages are gimmicky.

You controlled joeldawg long enough to get from cut scene to cutscene and then kitty pryde was interesting enough to call it a game.

I would love the dlc to be about that dude from the sewers to find out what happened to him but nope we're getting more ellen page dlc

Super Mario 3D World is pretty fun, but can be a little tricky to play multiplayer.  Been playing with my kids and they really enjoy it.

BTW, is RPG Maker any good?  I think it's the cheapest it's been yet on Steam?

Oh right, they have a new album coming out soon.

That song doesn't sound like any of their other stuff. But yeah, I do get that FoB vibe from it.

Seeeeeeeeeeeeecreeeeeeeeeeeeet Vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeentiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!

We'll write a song! That turns out the lights! When both boy and girl start suddenly shaking inside!

Don't waste your time! Speed up your breathing! Just close your eyes! We'll hope it's not for nothing at all!
