GGT 354 Is on a Different Timeline Where the Cubs Lose...?

Joel, how do I try to get at one of two sisters when I'm interested in both?

Like, there's one I'm more attracted to I think but the other one is more attracted to me I think and I don't want to try to get at one, get denied, and then try to get at the other cuz thats probably a lost cause at that point. Like I want to try to hang out with one but I feel like that might set off alarms for the other one immediately, closing that gate should I ever go back to try and knock on it yadadamean? The only thing I can think of is that I can try to play it off as "oh I only talked to your sister first to learn more about you" or some shit if it turns out I like the other more.

Should I just play it as low key as possible until I find out for sure if I do like one way more than the other? Or should I just be shallow as fuck and go for the one that I think is prettier (the problem here is that the other one has a more fit body though)?

joel pls
Well, you have two avenues open to you and whichever one you pick is literally just up to you and how much risk you're comfortable with taking. The safer bet is, of course, going with the girl that you feel is more interested in you. You could go with the one you think is prettier, but that could just totally turn the other off.

You should probably try to get in a couple of low key dates with each of them (just act like you're hanging) and then make your decision after contemplating. That said, I don't think they'll have that many problems with you dating one and then the other. That kind of stuff happens oftenish where I've lived and it's usually only a problem when it comes to a chick (or dude, maybe?) dating different brothers. Then again, there's of course the chance that one of them will feel super inferior to the other that you actually pick. Some people just aren't that mature.

I'd go for the one with the nicer bod because it sounds like she's more into you. If you're into playing the long game though (dating until the other loses weight), I'd pick the one with the prettier face and go for broke. How do you know the one girl is into you?

I don't get the Undertale stuff. I played like two hours of it a couple of weeks ago and just was not feeling it at all. Seeing that so many people I know won't leave me alone about it annoys me too. This chick I knew in high school has been texting me asking me if I'm going to review it a couple of times a week every week since it has released. I don't fucking understand how this game is such a big deal. This is worse than when Gone Home came out and everyone I met irl for the next three months constantly asked me if I played it the second I mentioned that I play games.

Played more Fallout last night. I really got to find more time to play. I need to spend more time unlocking companions. I got Strong last night and I hate him. Dude is hating on every fucking thing I do.

Also, WHY THE fuck ISN'T MY STASH SHARED BETWEEN SETTLEMENTS? I have like a million aluminum and glue in Sanctuary, why the fuck isn't it at the other places? AND WHY DIDN'T THE GAME TELL ME? I needed aluminum for a generator for a mission, so I looked for a fucking hour to find what I needed and then fast traveled to Sanctuary to find that I actually have a shit ton of aluminum there just chillin'. Goddammit, Bethesda. It's 2015! DO IT BETTER. Shit like this just makes the whole settlement building thing just feel like it tacked on.

Grab the Local Leader perk, then you can set someone to act as a supply line between two settlements:

I've realized that Christmas music depresses me now.

Just listening to it reminds me of stuff that makes me sad now. Like when I still had my family around to spend the holiday with me or when I lost my virginity.

You need to remember that they are still there, maybe not physically but they are. You are making new positive experiences with your girlfriend.

I do the same as you and dont think of the positive but im working on that.

Yeah, you're right, man. It's just that I know I should be more positive, it's just that the old things that make me sad. Bleh.

Thanks, Beatles <3

Everyone sucks at Battletoads, it's effing Battletoads :p
Do you grip the controller hard or press the D-pad with such pressure and lack of control that you can hear the grinding of the controller/D-pad? Instead of pushing one clear direction you unknowingly end up pushing an undesired direction? Did you ever get passed Clinger Winger? Cuz that's a stage where any input outside of the direction you need to head will break your progress.

Which Christmas song(s) did you lose your virginity to? Santa Claus Is Coming to Town?

A lot of perks in Fallout 4 are just "unlock a thing that should have been default anyway".

O Come, O Come Emmanuel

White Christmas for sure

It was really appropriate for the time.

I planned on playing more fallout tonight, but I keep dozing off and feel like shit, so I'mma hit the bed. Sometime soon we should all try to do something together, guys.

We should, hey phantomphoenix buy a wii u. Also I love that song, now it will mean more to me when I hear it.

I am a pre-war safe, untouched for over two centuries. Buried deep within this tomb, I am a time capsule from a world forbidden to you.

Inside me are a bunch of bottlecaps, a zip gun, and some drugs that hadn't been invented when I was made.

I am the "q" key. In theory, you can use me to slow down time and target specific parts of an enemy to gain a tactical advantage, or to properly utilize a large number of perks, stats, and pieces of equipment. In reality, I am mostly used to magically tell you whether that speck in the distance is a random shitfarmer or an evil raider and therefore morally acceptable to pre-emptively kill from half a kilometer out.

Also for some reason on the pip-boy screen I bring up your favourites menu even though that's normally mapped to "f"? I don't really get that. It's not like "f" does something else when you have your pip-boy up...

I am a piece of clothing on the ground. I provide some small bonuses, but more importantly, I look cool. Maybe I'm a tuxedo. Maybe I'm a nice jacket. You would like to wear me, but instead you pass me over. You don't know if I fit under your armour, and you can't tell without picking me up, navigating over to me in your over-clogged inventory, and checking what I replace. Odds are I'm functionally worthless for you, like most pieces of clothing.

I haven't changed my clothes in Fallout 4 since like 5 hours in. Shit just isn't worth the hassle since almost nothing I have actually taken the time to pick up has been better. What companion do you roll with?

Im too broke to afford fallout 4 so Im not sure what you speak of? Safe,Q and piece of clothing, got it?
I like this.

I rented a bunch of the movies that were part of the 10 cent promo on Windows 10 like a week ago, the new Terminator was a lot better then I thought it would be based on reviews and what I saw, my dad told me he enjoyed it as well and that was pretty much the only positive I herd about it. It was pretty much a giant throwback to the originals with some silly moments but I thought it did that well.

Uhhh, I guess it depends on the controller/game? I never really think about that, but I know what you mean when you hit a different direction and don't get the results you want, it sucks. Also Clinger Winger = Pause and put the right input and pretty much pause every frame because I don't want to do that normally.

Like my effortpost said, I've been using Cait a lot lately. The AI is even worse for melee characters than it is for ranged, but at least she stuns things a lot with her super sledge. Gonna give Hancock a try soon.

I still don't have either of them. I need to step my game up. I've just been using Nick all the time. He doesn't judge me as harshly as Piper.

You find them both fairly close to where you got Strong. Game really loves clustering companions into that neighbourhood, I guess.

So... did you beat Clinger Winger? How far did you get in the game?

How did you show him sound? Did you put on a fucking awesome fire and light show with a set Rubens' tubes?

I beat it eventually, I used saves at like the beginning of each stage and eventually more often when the water stuff started happening because that's RNG like crazy, without saves I got past like 2 or 3 levels

Thanks! I'll go looking for them today!

fuckin Chvrches doe.

Good pull. Keighley.
Shiiiit, really? I gotta see that.

I can't believe some dude named Chedderz got fourth place in that Xbox One leaderboards thing
What?

So, Psychonauts 2? I can't believe it. Like, wow. I still haven't finished the first game either. It'll be great to play a second, though. Maybe this way we'll finally get Brutal Legend 2 one day.

Also, TellTale's Batman? Wow. They're doing Walking Dead: Michonne, Batman, and a game for Marvel starring Miles in 2016? And maybe Wolf Among Us season 2? They have the comics market covered better than anyone.

Hancock's alright. Deacon's still my go-to. Spending some time with MacReady now, but the dude's pretty annoying. Wife is rolling with Cait. Don't think I can take that accent, despite my persisting love for feisty, fuck-you-up redheads.

Also, fuck yeah, Witcher 3.

My effortpost briefly compared Cait to Planescape Torment's Annah, an angry, gutter-dwelling redhead with a similarly out-of-place Irish accent (voiced by singer Sheena Easton). One character actually calls her out on her accent at one point during the game, though she claims ignorance on the matter.

Annah was a pretty interesting character (particularly when paired with her foil Grace) although probably a lot less so if you don't like thinking about the sexual hangups of Chris Avellone. Because you're some sort of fuckin' weirdo.

I make so many good-ass posts lately that I have trouble keeping track of what content I have and have not posted already so please forgive me if you've seen this already and don't hold it against my brand.

So I'm incredibly stoked for Far Cry Primal, it reminds me a little of Carnivores Ice Age, and I love that setting, I'm so glad they decided to do that for their next game, probably what I'm looking forward to the most. Also the new fuck of course

Yeah man, I'm not really into TWD, but Wolf Among Us was amazing and I'm stoked for Batman and the Marvel one, I like their word, just has to be a franchise I enjoy.

You should have hit them up and said they misspelled your name, dawg <3

You totally have already posted this! Also, I miss the panty shots from SG.

TWD Season 1 was better than 2. I'm surprised you don't like all their stuff, but then again, I don't really like their GoT game despite loving GoT.

Gotcha, I'll give season 1 another go at some point since it was a free Gold game so I have all of it now, but I like most of their stuff, the older Sam & Max games, Wolf Among Us, Borderlands, never tried the Back To The Future Or Jurassic Park ones but I like those franchises (heard mixed things though).

I loooooved Sam and Max and pretty much everything they've made since TWD Season 1. If you like Back to the Future, you'll probably like the game. Jurassic Park however is a total piece of shit. It's mindblowing just how bad it is. It doesn't control well and isn't very interesting. It's very much an old-type adventure game where you can tell the budget is kind of small and the game was just slapped together.

Saw a trump sign in someones window...

Is politics pushed a lot for you guys in your states? Like Iowa is the first primary so they seem to put a ridiculous amount of money and effort into swaying the votes. I always wonder how much more they really do in Iowa compared to the rest of the United States?

Can you tell me about the things you choose to do with your free time?

nvm i can see them

Politics is pushed a ton in Kansas. In Tennessee, everything's a lot more passive. I remember being told I should vote in High School, but if I didn't it wasn't the end of the world. In Kansas though, so many people act like it's pretty much constantly the end of the world and I am going to die if I don't vote for their cause. It's a weird state, too. Like 90% of it is conservative Republican, while somewhere around 10% is super liberal. I'm in a city which is especially weird because it's about split down the middle vocally, but people always vote more conservatively.

Also, local government is super corrupt here. It's pretty much an accepted fact that my city's government regularly increases taxes every few years to fix roads that flood and don't actually do anything to fix it while they either pocket the cash or funnel it into other initiatives. The news apparently did stories on it ten years ago and there was a lot of noise about it, but since then nobody really cares. Now, they're super obvious about the fact that they don't do anything about the roads (they set up traffic cones and work signs and then never actually have crews work on anything or be present) and they're proposing tax hikes for the flooded roads every 2 years. It's crazy.

Interesting how people act with political voting, I was always wondering how bad other states got hammered with Ads and phone calls.

Im shocked people aren't rioting for it to change, thats like the number one thing people hate, is when the government takes their money.

I really wonder now how politics are pushed in other countries, kinda doubt its as extreme as the United States has been. Other countries probably have a system set up for politicians to get their ideas out but there is no way to really know unless I talked to a citizen from each country.
