GGT #49 is the same as GGT #48, but now it's Episodic and costs $10 too much

The only time he ever stays in the room is to play Tekken and SFIV on the PS3. He never plays the 360 and when he saw me playing the mission in DR2 where you have to have Chuck in his underwear, he came in and said "That's what I expect from an Xbox game" so I think he's TMK.
I've been busy playing the game lol. Ask away.
If I liked the demo, how much am I going to love the retail version? Also, is money important at all? I kept getting truckloads of it during the demo, but I don't know if buying equipment is mega-important or not.

OBJECTION! There is a clear contradiction here ... you're wrong
The only place I encountered severe glitching was during the last boss fight, I literally had to re-do that three times before I was able to beat the game. I forgot to mention this earlier when you posted about the 2099 Scorpion level, but that level is without a doubt the most rediculously frustrating piece of shit ever. Seriously, the fact that there was no midway save point during his last boss battle, AND that the fight took forever was such a downer. Besides that I had a ton of fun, especially in the Deadpool and Carnage levels. Sandman was another one I wish they would have spent more time on and not make it so hard.

Also, sometimes I feel the cases in Phoenix Wright drag on for so long >.>
I wholeheartedly agree on both counts. There are like three or four cases among the Phoenix Wright games that when I played them I literally just started yelling "END IT ALREADY." Iloved the Carnage level, too, it was a lot of fun. I had a super easy time getting the 200 hit combo achievement there.
Congrats on sticking with it. I liked the concept, combat, and writing. But the execution suuuuuuucked.

Beenox has a great game in there somewhere.
Thanks, and I agree execution overall was sloppy. I wish they'd spent more time on working with what they had than just trying to cram so much into the game. I liked that there were so many villains, but I didn't like that most of the boss fights sucked ass.

Hey, I decided to cancel my TFU2 preorder and got DR2 on 360 instead, so I was wondering, are any of the DLC skill packs worth picking up? I tend to be heavy on melee so I was thinking about the Psycho pack, but I wasn't sure.

I love the games, but the fucking Circus case lasted forever, and if it weren't for the very end when that certain someone shows up, I'd probably put JFA down and start something else.

I rec'd Enslaved yesterday, but I can't stop playing NBA 2K11 My Player. >_<

Vanquish, Fallout New Vegas, Fable III, and SWTFU2 are on my list to play sooner rather than later too. :p

That being said, they have a lot of passive bonuses. The psycho outfit reduces the damage you take, and the ninja costume makes it harder for zombies to see you.

I forget which pieces of clothing from each costume are required to get the bonuses, but I do know you don't have to wear the entire thing.

Yeah, Live's been giving me some real problems today. Like constantly kicking me from TIR.

The ninja one is uber helpful at low levels because zombies bother you less. The psycho one probably helps too, as it's supposed to increase your defense. I'm not sure about the soldier one, I haven't tried it yet, but I'm a sucker for DR2, so I picked it up... next time I coop with beef, I might switch into it.

The soldier outfit gives an additional attack with certain guns, or something weird like that.

Ah, looks like all you need is at least one piece of a DLC outfit to get all of the passive abilities. Neat!

EDIT: Here's what they do, according to someone from Gamefaqs (so excuse the grammar).
The Psycho pack boosts dmg with chainsaws, axes and machetes and gives there second weapon function a mini cutscene also makes Chuck more resilient (harder to kill)

The Soldier of Fortune boost firearm dmg, gives double ammo, better accuracy and headshot accuracy.

the Sports pack increase dmg with sport type weapons aka: baseball bat, with a football Chuck has a powerful running stiff arm, eith a new charge/tackle (meant to imitate a linebacker blitz). Chuck doesn't get sick from drinking too much alcohol and food/drink gives additional health also makes Chuck luckier when gambling.
If you liked the demo then you'll love the actual game. Once you start leveling up you unlock more moves, and using each character becomes a lot more fun. Also each storyline has branching paths for some nice replay.

As for money, it's used when you craft new items but you get more than enough to never really have to worry about it.

I love you, Beef! Thanks a lot, I bought the Psycho pack and will pick up the ninja when it comes out. How do I find the costumes to equip them, though?

I'm preparing to send in my Wii again. 2nd time THIS YEAR (July). Yikes, man. Disc read errors FTL. I guess that's what I get for playing Other M so much. It didn't even start with Other M though, it started with Epic Yarn. I've sent my Wii in for repairs more times than my 360 (although I'm technically on my 4th 360 because I bought an S model).

At least it's free this time though. But I have to send in my copies of Epic Yarn and Other M so they can recreate the problem. Sheesh.

They're in the save room in the Safe house. Check the lockers.

I was trying to help
Ringo
in FO:NV, but my stats were too low to get all the help, so I moved on to Vanquish.

I wish I had an attention span.

I got all of it except
the dynamite from Easy Pete
and the fight went fine, with no penalty I could tell.

Also,
there are magazines you can buy or fine to help with the Trudy and Chet

Maybe it's because I dumped a lot of my points into guns, but I didn't get help from anyone and only had to use one stimpack.

Too much content to sell it for that.

I hated the Circus Case, but don't let that one ruin it for you.

I started the final case in Justice For All, and I can see why it's supposed to be so good. Big drama right from the get go. I'm kind of disappointed that:
We found out who the kidnapper is already, I mean I kind of figured it was the "bell boy" but it would have been nice to keep the suspense up.

Thanks! I'm surprised how big of a difference the skill pack actually makes. I'm taking a shit ton more damage than I was.

Two thoughts on Castlevania now that it's over:

(1) Saw part of the twist ending coming -- however, I don't quite understand some aspects of it. Rei, if you've beaten it and want to talk about the ending, I'm game, because I need to know what the fuck I saw, exactly.

(2) They spent all their money hiring Kojima and forgot to play test the fucking game. I had a bunch of piss poor platforming bugs in the first level of chapter 10 that definitely should've been found during testing. Not only that, but worse yet, in the beginning and end cutscenes for the final stage, they're 10+ minutes long. I have my controllers set to turn off after a period of inactivity. I had it stop the cutscenes twice with a "controller disconnected! screen" which, thankfully, defaults to "NO" on the skipping choice when you reconnect, or it would be real easy to skip the fucking ending.

Also, some of these trials are just fucking ridiculous.
The trials are pretty hard. Not sure if I have the patience to go through them.

I thought the ending was interesting though.
Most of the trials aren't too bad -- the BS with the time trials is just that though. fuck them. >_<

Lords of Shadow ending stuff:
I get that Belmont became Dracula -- perhaps he used the necromancy mask that was there while the credits rolled. However, I don't understand exactly how Zobek was alive, I thought Satan killed him dead. And if this was supposed to be a prequel to the Castlevania mythos, like where it all started, what the fuck does the ending have to do with it all? Is it something where that future is long after everything else considered canonical?

Starting DMC4, figured it deserves a shot since it'll be the last actual DMC game

edit: well this mandatory install is annoying, haven't seen one of these since MGS4 =p
Your own fault for buying wii games
And I'll still be able to play them all once I get it back.

It's weird that I can play a game for like 10-20 minutes, then the game freezes, but not the system. Oh well, it ships tomorrow.

Other M is probably the cause of it. I mean, I did put
82 hours into it
if the Nintendo Channel is to be believed.

I haven't even put that much time into Uncharted 2 and I use to play it a lot. You must have a lot of free time. ;)

Lots of PS3 games have mandatory installs.

Just beat the first chapter end boss of Castlevania. Very SotC like.

I'm enjoying the game so far, but I feel that it has some pacing issues.

It gets better with pacing outside of the first 2 chapters -- and don't think all bosses are titan-esque; there's only a few.

I'm too busy playing DR2

Speaking of whch, is there any point at which I lose all my money in the story? I have a lot of it right now (well, not a ton, but about 400 grand) and I don't want to lose it. Also, any tips on TiR? I cannot win a goddamn episode for the life of me, I always come in second.
