Eh, I don't know. Someone who actually made time to look something up in the dictionary sounds pretty lame to me.

Since making a new gamertag for XBL, I've been replaying some of my games. I got to ACT 3 on Gears of War and I forgot how much of a pain some of these sections were. I also beat Portal and I'm having a difficult time figuring out why so many people rave about it. Sure, it was kind of fun but it wasn't a masterpiece or anything. I'll move on to Half-Life next.
I think Portal is really good, but it got blown way out of proportion. I'd probably feel the same as you if I'd played it after all the hype.

I picked up the Hot Shots Shorties pack from that Amazon deal, and I have to say the games in it are a lot of fun. Well worth the $5.

Portal was one of the most memorable gaming experiences ever for me. There seems to be a lot of backlash against it these days, but that tends to happen with any game that gets so popular/overly-hyped.

I knew it was a word. I provided a link to the dictionary for the uneducated wretches of this forum.

I.E.: You.

Ha. Riiiiight. This coming from the person who gets banned almost every new GGT and brings almost nothing positive to this thread. Why don't you go take your elitist attitude and find some more seizure inducing pictures so we don't have to deal with your nonsense for another week.
Portal is so incredibly overrated. I enjoyed playing it that once, but after I beat it never felt the urge to play it again.
That pretty much sums up my feelings perfectly :)

Had I played it when it was initially released, I probably would have been in the same boat as you. Being that I went into it with such high expectations, I can't help but feel slightly let down. But hey, at least another installment comes out this year, so we'll see how good Portal 2 is :D
you ever get the feeling cheska is kind of mean in real life
I get the feeling she's kind of awesome in real life after that post she made to Chac.

I've just noticed a lot that someone will joke around and she'll get really snippy in response in a very I'm-better-than-you-internet-$$$$$$ way.

Love you chesy
I'm sweeter than cherry pie :)

Oh and Rei, I still think this is one of my favorite songs from overseas :)
Oh man, I have a huge obsession with SNSD. My wife got me a huge SNSD poster for Christmas which I promptly hung in my gaming room XD I've been listening to them for awhile, and Run Devil Run is also one of my favorites. Their newest song Hoot is pretty good too:

O snap x2!

I assume if I met her in real life she'd probably be pretty rad.

Curious: I also started the GGT in the first place.

Don't start shit in my house.

I posted this story elsewhere so I thought I'd copy it here. Happened like a month ago. Maybe I did mention it.

At my job's building we have a revolving door. I was walking in one day, no one around (i thought) and got in and started to lightly push like normal.

As soon as I did, I felt a body get in with me into the same space as me. Their body pressed against the back of mine.

I get out and turn and it's this really cute girl, smartly dressed.
I'm looking really confused and manage to say "uhhhh. what"
She replied with, "Sorry, I'm trying not to be late" and kept on walking like nothing happened.

It was really weird.

Life, dallowmang, is too short to be telling this story on the internet to a bunch of guys and girls who don't wear pants. Find this adorable girl and let her into the shared space of the revolving door that is your heart.

Nolan North is the voice of Steven Heck from Alpha Protocol. His voice is so distinguishable, and I bet if we looked up most games that have come out in the past few years he's probably in almost every single one of them. Hacking e-mails and computers has now gotten pretty addicting, but those stupid alarms can be annoyingly difficult.
Who's the guy who does the Madworld character's voice? that guy seems to be in every game as well.
Steven Blum. He is in a ton of stuff too.

Nolan North plays two different generic NPCs in some shitty game (Mafia II, maybe?) so that there's a chance you can actually hear Nolan North talking to Nolan North.

It's a damn shame Alpha Protocol was panned. GOTY for 2010 for me, easily. Hacking computers towards the end of the game on hard is pretty fun, too (and challenging).

What kind of 99 cent a pound steaks are you guys eating? Burgers over steak? Damn.

That's just the problem. Premium steaks are of course the best, but they come at a hefty price. Burgers are great no matter what the price.

Godamn, AC Brohos is a huge fucking game, if you want to do all the shit that's in there. I must've missed a lot of shit in the previous game. :p
Burgers are great no matter what the price.
99 cent burgers from McDonald's would like to disagree. :puke:

But I mostly agree with your point. Cheap steaks kinda always suck, but cheap burgers are mostly still good.

When I want to enjoy myself though, I'll take a mid-priced Filet Mignon over a burger any day.

Gene from MGSPO is still my favorite voice/character he's done. This was before he became a nolan north...

Just looked through a list of stuff Steven Blum has done, and I can't say I recognize many of those characters. (at least not anywhere near Nolan North)

I will say that I loved his work as Oghren in Dragon Age though. And Jack in Madworld was good as well.
Nolan is a character, not a VA. They probably just hire him and go, "be yourself Nathan Fillion, we can't write characters for shit."
fixed
I don't watch Chuck, but isn't Casey played by Adam Baldwin? What part did he do in ME2? I somehow didn't notice his voice during my playthrough.
He voices Kal'Reegar, the quarian soldier when you initially find Tali . I didn't realize it was him until the Trial.
I've gotten kinda tired of hearing his voice.
I have, too! I'm sick to death of him now, especially since he's became "the voice" for Wolverine.

Man, JSP, people took the bait with that doll blog HARD.
