Girlfriends and Video Games
Its not hard doing two things at once, OP, especially if you're only 14 yrs old.

We're in the same boat, except my girlfriend plays games as well and doesn't bother me for sexual activities while playing. If I'm playing something when she calls, she'll let me call her back, but most of the time I'll just pause or save+quit. She buys her own games, reads up on her own news here or one of the many gaming sites and even clues me in on some things I don't know. Oh, and our five year anniversary (even though its been off and on) was in April.

The only thing she bothers me about sometimes is being on the internet too much, but when I'm here at work for 8-9 hours a day and most of my time is ''down time''... what the hell else do I do? :bouncy:

Oh, and a picture!
Can I ask something of all you gamers? Why is it that you spend so much time playing games? I mean, sure, they're fun, but wouldn't you rather be out with friends, or doing something constructive? I mean, I love video games, but only squeeze in about an hour a day. And if it comes down to it, I won't play video games at all if I have a chance to hang out with some friends. I didn't think it was really that hard to cut down video games.
Well, it really depends. Some people will have a friend that calls every single day and won't stop bugging them. Some just want a little time to themselves to play video games. I know my best friend feels the same way himself at times because there are certain people who ask him to go out and do something a little too much.

I think (not trying to bash you at all) you might not understand the situation some of us are in. Since you are 17 years old, you're still living at home, going to H.S., and most of your friends are probably nearby you (or at least go to high school with you). Once you finish college (or out of H.S. and working), it's like many of the people who use to know nearby are gone. Some have gone off to the military, some had family move because their kids are out of school, some got jobs in other areas, some are going to school/grad school throughout the country, some are out of the country, and so on. Back when I was in H.S. (and your exact age), I'd say the same thing since almost all my friends or people I knew were nearby. But now it's like, just about everyone is gone, which is why I'm normally at home just playing video games more these days (when I was on breaks from college or even finished from college like now, that's the situation). So enjoy it while you can.

Oh, and OP, if your girlfriend doesn't want you playing games, dump that bitch. A girl should like you for what you are, not what you could be. And if it takes you 10 years to find a girlfriend like this, then when you do find one, you know it'll be the perfect one. And please, don't use the word 'love' when you're only 14. I'm 17 and have no intentions on using it anytime soon.
I agree, but don't wait too long for a girl you may never get one (like some people who still don't have a girl at their old age).
