Just another bump to let others who have recently joined FFXI to tell us where they are. I've ran into a couple of CAGs, mostly Poormojo, but can't say we've done much. Still quite fun game...which of course is why I'm mostly not on CAG as much and Darke Katt took over...but she is only off topic and doesn't tell me about any good deals. Not like I'm buying anymore games anyways...got just what I need (plus all the games I bought cheap that I must get to)

You can either do the server trick which will take hours "Create character, look at what server it's put on delete if not one you want...repeat...1000 times" or you can have someone buy you a world pass. it's like 1-2k depending on the traffic on that server.

Though I don't know about the other servers, but CAGs just don't interact as much on Diabolos this is normally how it goes

Darke sees Poormojo.
Darke waves.
Poormojo waves.
Darke now waves goodbye.
Poormojo now waves goodbye.
Continue running.

Well not exactly Poormojo helps me out by checking stuff for me in Bastok when I need it, and I used to do the same, but he has other characters everywhere so...he doesn't need it anymore.

Once ya join a LS you should be good. I'm in The Returners (anyone remember...c'mon hint, think of another Final Fantasy). We help each other out with just about anything, quests, missions, dragons, advanced jobs...whatever. Most other LS do the same.

So really whichever server you join, you should be real good, as long as you're friendly and stay away from some a-holes...which are everywhere

You won't be charged the full amount for those five days. It scales depending on when you sign up during the month. For instance, when I made my account, I started on the 20th. I was charged about $4.50 for the remainder of that month, and then the $12.95 started next month.
