All you guys have to do is sign up to Krakrabbit.com, leave at least five (5) user reviews on any of the games or accessories on the site, and post here that you left the user reviews and what your user name on the Krakrabbit.com site is.

On October 1st, I will choose a winner that will get to choose a movie from a bunch of (DVD) movies that we have available.

Quality of review is the main criteria here, the better the reviews the more likely you will be chosen as the winner!

The movie will be shipped free to you (US only) via USPS media mail. Depending on your location it could take a little bit to reach you.

Here are the movies you can choose from. All are sealed up and fresh!

its a lot of work for a dvd, even more for a CHANCE to win a dvd. now im going 2 restock my dipers and pick up a few of these movies for $3 in the bargain bin.

So you value a $5 Kmart gift card over a sealed DVD movie!? AND you have to do the same amount of reviews...I am shocked at all the people who complain about a free item. Most people write a ton of reviews for games for NO REWARD on other sites over the course of a day/week/month/year, and I'm giving away a prize and you're crying about it? You are quite high society for looking down on a free movie.

Do you laugh at the homeless people at the corner as well?

There is a huge difference here, you are offering a CHANCE to win a movie after writing 5 reviews for your site. Kmart is giving away a $5 giftcard for five reviews. Not a chance, a guaranteed giftcard to a place that has been having great deals lately. Also, asking if he laughs at homeless people is completely irrelevant, and comes off as a little hostile.

compared to your selection yes, a $5 card i can spend or give 2 a friend. also the dvd is not "free" you have 2 do something to get it. im crying because of the hot pepper filled taco i just ate, not because this deal sucks. i review other sites coz i feel like it. and finally, what does homeless people have anything 2 do with this?

he's giving stuff away on here, and that's more than what most of us can say. he's not a huge corporate company like kmart and can't give out a DVD to everyone who submits 5 reviews. if you don't like the way he's working his giveaway then keep that to yourself. :[

I brought the homeless people up because I am saying you have an elitist attitude. You must laugh at the corner bum because he doesn't live in a Beverly Hills mansion.

And what are you or your friend going to get at Kmart for $5? One of the DVD movies I'm giving away....and you can't give a movie to a friend? I wasn't aware movies were bonded to the first guy to touch them.

Exactly my point, thank you! I'm giving away a free movie here, for little to no "work" at all. I guess I'm supposed to give away a free house for everyone who writes reviews on the site.
 
No offense but most of those movies aren't really good so I can see where people are getting at...

I don't think you understand... maybe all they can get with the 5 dollar card is a movie you are offering but your only offering a chance to win a movie when with the 5 dollar gift card its a guarantee not a chance. Nobody likes to put effort into a chance to win something that has very little value. If it was a guarantee free DVD like the 5 dollar coupon then I am sure people would be jumping all over the deal.

Also the bum remarks are irrelevant and unnecessary I don't feel him coming off as elitist at all but that remark doesn't help your image.

TC, is incredibly hostile & immature. And No, i would rather give the "Bum" on the corner the 3.99 for the DVD then jump through your rediculous hoops to POSSIBLY get one OR i'd rather just write a review for something i feel worthwhile.

Yeah, he's been doing this 'contest' for a while now. Watching how he acts in this thread has been kind of funny; he started off all pumped, got pissed and defensive when people pointed out that his contest isn't all that great, deleted all the comments in the thread, tried to keep an empty thread alive by bumping it until more people came to complain about his contest, and then started getting pissy and defensive yet again.

While a part of me wishes he would just take a hint and go away, I can't help but admire his tenacity in keeping this alive. Dare to dream, Krakrabbit. Dare. To. dream. [Why is there no popcorn.gif, damn it?]

The only way this might be worth while is to plagiarize reviews from amazon and stick them on this site.
but then again, it isnt worth it for the chance to get a dvd (and no i didnt even find the kmart $5 offer worthwhile either but at least i could pick whatever i wanted from there).
 
To be completely honest, you guys, there isn't anything I wouldn't do to win a copy of Unfaithful...

But, honestly, why don't you change up the requirements a bit. Freshen things up. How about the 1st Cag to write, direct, produce a film, submit it the Academy, and at least be nominated for an award gets to buy ($2) a chance to possibly win one of those fine flicks.

I won this contest last month and I'm not gonna lie it took me maybe 10 mins tops to do five good reviews. Even if you don't win the DVD your still helping the guy out on his site. He's been a little rude to some of you guys but the people he's been rude to just came out of know where and insulted his contest. Like one of the other guys said, "if you don't have something nice to say then don't say anything at all." He gives a sealed copy of a movie from Best Buy and if you win it, I bet you can return it to Best Buy and get a $10 GC or something. I kept my movie because I love Super Troopers but this is something you can do.

I never deleted any of my comments or, obviously anyone elses? I'm not getting "defensive" or anything else you guys assume, I am just saying that I am giving a movie away out of a decent list of classic movies. My overall point everytime you guys complain about the movie selection and how its not "good enough" and "bad" is that at least I'm running this contest. Wouldn't you rather have a chance at the movie then no chance at all?

These movies don't come from Best Buy? Where did you get that from?

In any case, yes, this contest is easy. Its not difficult and time consuming to write or even copy and paste a few reviews, and like I said having a chance to win a sealed copy of something is better then having no chance at all and no contest even being run.

When I got my Super Troopers movie it said "Best Buy $9.99" right on the front of the movie.

In any case, I just feel that some people are hating a bit too much for something that benefits them. I'm giving a movie away, and if you guys aren't interested in the contest you don't need to post about how "terrible" the movie list is or whatever else displeases you.
