Glenn Beck: Obama Better For Country Than McCain would have been
poor people cable?

lololololololololololololololololololololololol
it was a joke jeeze....I have poor people cable because I am a poor person.

UncleBob still waiting on the Obama crooked Chicago politician connection. I know my arguments seem pretty trite, but I am sick of people just verbally masturbating all over the vs forum, without any regard for what they are saying.

I clicked on the link to read, but when I noticed it was from Salon I rolled my eyes, read the last two pages. I didn't see anything remotely close to being attributable to someone becoming a "raving asshole psychopath". But that's likely because he isn't.

BTW, "First Media" being a "mormon company" is rather misleading as it had no affiliation with the church, so that makes me question the authors agenda at least and research capabilities at most.
Fox was top rated through most (if not all) of Bush's 8 years as well. But I'm sure you have clever reasons for that also.
American Idol is the number one show, and Jerry Springer is popular as well.

Popularity means fucking shit.

Also Fox Made-up News is the only place you can get wacko views of the world based on lies and fear. there are numberous other new channels you can get NEWS on!

Look when there is ONE conservative network, compared to 5 or 6 liberal/moderate networks, which network is going to be watched by all the conservatives?

If you like to eat poop and there is only one store selling poop, where are you going to go?

You are correct, sir.

However, I know people I would not consider conservative that watch foxnews simply because it's more entertaining and they cover things they find interesting the other networks don't, for whatever reason.

Also, name one "moderate" network. This ought to be good.

Or they could have you throw poop at them, and considering the way you post, that's all you do.

Priceless irony.

Me likey ad hominem attacks! He'll berate me for doing it after he just did it. Thanks.

Oh, and CNN. Prove that it isn't moderate. Love that Glenn Beck logic dontcha?
Priceless irony.
Yes, I'd imagine all of the democrats here who share one brain would say that.

Ok one reporter harrassing someone is evidence of an agenda?

In that case, I suppose all the GOP members of the House are rude because one of them called the President a liar?

You challenged me to name a non-FOX network that was 'moderate', as if to say one does not exist. When I named one you say you're not sure what I mean by proof. Maybe you could instead, prove why you think every other network that isn't FOX is liberal, since you seem to think there is no moderate voice out there.

Here's how I see it though (as far as the 24 hour news channels go):
Liberal: MSNBC
Moderate: CNN
Conservative: FOX

There you go again, proving my point. :D

If a lot of people liked to eat poop and there was only one store selling poop, somebody else would start selling poop to capitalize on the demand.

I'm pretty liberal and FNC is really the only news channel I watch. It's by far the most entertaining. I think it's a stretch to chalk the network's success up to its ideological leanings. TV business isn't chump change and you can bet the executives have done (and continue to do) their market research -- if there were really such a demand for a conservative echochamber, the other networks would meet that demand (or new networks would be created to do so).

For once, Koggit is right (I jest, don't be mad :))

Honestly Foxnews is just a tightly run ship. Sure, their talking head shows are very conservative but the rest doesn't seem so. I dare any liberal to watch Shepard Smith and look for conservative propaganda.

And I hate to say it, but I think a lot of their success may even have to do with the fact that they have an awful lot of hot bitches on just about every show. So you can be pretty damn entertained even watching Foxnews with the mute on. I swear they just have a big room in the studio basement full of hot lawyer chicks in cold storage that they pick from for each show.

If we're going to agree on anything thrustbucket, it is that Fox does indeed have some hot bitches on a lot of their shows.

This bitch looks at herself in the camera all the time, its pretty annoying, especially considering the talking points always coming out of her mouth:
What is and isn't moderate is all relative, so I am not sure by what criteria you want "proof". CNN is probably the closest to being moderate, but they aren't; they omit too many important news stories to say they don't have an agenda.

I don't think one reporter who looks flustered and upset about something (maybe something said one said or did) is much evidence for an entire network being biased. Not only that but most people would applaud a reporter questioning a politician or author like the women in the video, but for some reason the general public at a public protest it is seen as mean or biased to question their ignorant view points. Then again I do remember that chapter on Lincoln in high school that said "Lincoln's main thing was people had the right to liberty."

In that incident it wasn't so much what that reporter did versus how CNN handled it. They only did anything about it when it became a big deal being talked about everywhere.

To be clear, I do not think CNN is biased on what they say or what they cover (usually). Where their bias comes from is in what they ignore. That does put them ahead of most other networks though.

I wouldn't answer that question either, because no matter how you did, "Think Progress" and the like would have far more to say about it.

He did screw himself though, by making the statement to begin with, which looks bad. But he's smart not to answer that question for obvious reasons, as it would make it much worse.

Well, honestly, how could you answer the question? Part of it might be that he knows he's fucked no matter what he says, but what the hell could he say? What is "white culture" and how does Obama hate it?

I don't think he or you or anybody else could answer that, he just said some shit that has no meaning, and he's being asked the "hard questions" about it that he really only ever uses to deflect.

All he could honestly say is "I dunno, I said something stupid using words that I cannot define that has no meaning or relevance, but I said it anyway. I obviously wasn't thinking." But of course his answer is to deflect and act like asking the question is attacking him.

And then ramble on incoherently in a Palin-esque diatribe about nothing. Don't forget that.

I agree completely.

Good thing he's not running for office then.

I don't know what a palin-esque diatribe sounds like, but if its anything similar to obama's ramble on for 5 minutes about nothing when asked a straight forward question I understand exactly how annoying it would be.
Because McCain is a "weird progressive"?

I honestly think he's having some mental issues, no joke.
