Condition of games: "You can find more about the condition of an item by hovering your mouse pointer over the little gray circle with an "i" in it. It's a bit small, I agree, but basically, "Excellent" means the disc, case, and instructions appear almost new and "Good" means the disc may have light scratches from normal wear, but the case may be a little banged up or replaced and it may even be a formal rental. In all cases though, the game must play perfectly".

There were quite a few questions that I chuckled at. My favorite was "If it wasn't for porn I would not use the internet" or something to that effect. LOL
 
I got about 10% as well and booted out of the survey, but it also told me that the code would be sent to me in a few days.

Oh well.

Free game if it comes, if not, 10% of that survey was only about 90 seconds out of my life.
 
It never actually said anything about a code for me. I got 100% and it just said - thank you for participating...your responses have been recorded...or something like that.

That survey really did take me 15 mins lol

Took the survey earlier today and got 100% with the quota being filled. All I can say is I better get a $15 code or there will be hell to pay for making me waste 20 minutes of my life.

What about me I started the survey, asked if I had a smartphone etc... and I said no and it said I didn't qualify to do the survey. So I get nothing?

If it makes you feel any better, I do quite a bit of selling on Glyde and did not receive a survey invite. Dropping obscenities (even allusions to them) probably isn't going to lead to the outcome you desire.

It's too bad you didn't get a survey, but to discriminate against someone who did that doesn't have a smartphone/tablet is wrong. I'm glad they made it right.

It's their $15 though, they should give it to whoever they deem eligible. Also no one person represents the company, I'd hate to be the person to meet all of that offensive profanity. You sure you couldn't have been less rude with it and asked nicely? Jesus, man.

I actually took my time to give my best answers to all the questions and got to around 90% before I got "the survey is closed" message. 20 minutes of people's life is quite valuable. Do you guys want everyone to rush all the questions so that they could get their survey submitted before its closed?

That post was a joke I didn't send that post lol relax.

BTW I believe it was a 3rd party company handling the surveys, not glyde. So I think it's pointless to complain to Cagney&Lacey. (I know I complained to him too)
 
Yeah... We've definitely got our share of profanity over the years... But yeah, we commissioned it and a 3rd party handled the logistics. Please know though that we honestly didn't mean to offend or screw anybody over. Your complaints and concerns have certainly been heard.

Not yet. Email stated 5-days, which means that the coupons will hopefully arrive Tuesday or Wednesday, if not sooner.

I did about 10% of it about an hour after I got the e-mail, but I got the message that said they had enough responses. I just sent a nice e-mail to Glyde customer services, asking if they could rectify the issue. I'll let you all know if I get any response.

Same here. If you only want x responses, don't send out y invites that all offer a $15 incentive to do the survey, only to stop someone at the very end of the survey, thereby fostering ill will towards your company. I've done a fair amount of business on glyde, but between this survey and them removing books from their system, without so much as a courtesy email to let me know before hand that 90% of the items I had listed for sale were just going to disappear, I guarantee that when I made some used purchases this weekend, it certainly wasn't through glyde.

I get it that if you send out 10 surveys, you'll probably only get 3 back, so you send out a lot more than you require. However, if you send out 100 of them, each offering an incentive, you should be prepared to receive 100 back, just in case, not shut it down at 10. It's a disrespect for your consumers and their time.

I also sent a nice email to [email protected] and received a polite response within 12 hours...

...along with a $15 off code. \\:D/ Hopefully you'll get a similar result.
 
I e-mailed Glyde the other day, told them that the survey didn't work that they sent me, and they responded today and gave me a $15 off code, which is really, really nice of them. It's a great site that has superb customer service.

Just bought Saints Row The Third for $8.75 shipped with it. :)
 
Has anyone who actually filled the survey out completely get their credit yet? They said it shouldn't take more than 5 days so I'm just wondering.
 
I am an Ambassador, which was how I got the invitation for the survey, or at least it was right after I was accepted and gave them my address to mail swag to me that I got the invite for the credit. Congrats about the 110 buck contest win though, that's fucking rad.

Hm, I don't recall ever getting a survey. Just 10 bucks for participating in the Instagram contest and another $100 for winning the contest.
 
i just got that survey today 7-2 .. its messed up that they would send out something they knew was no longer valid.

to me it just seems wrong. i get a email today i checked the timestamp on my email i responded literally 2 mins after getting it and when you click the link it says survey full sorry. why tease me like that !

Nope. And that guy above bought one of the games I was considering picking up with my $15 code.
 
I definitely suggest e-mailing them if you got booted from the survey or in my case completed it entirely to 100% but got the whole they got enough replies screen at the end. I sent a friendly e-mail expressing my concerns and how unfair it was for me to not be receiving a code but spending 20 minutes of my life getting asked personal questions like the porn question and I got this reply just now:

"Hi Patrick,

I'm so sorry to hear that you did not receive the $15 Glyde credit after finishing the survey, but thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Please accept this replacement coupon code good for $15.00 off your next purchase: "**********". It's valid through 9/1/12, and please be sure to enter it before clicking the 'Buy Now' button.

Wonderful company and glad they have a great customer support for when something goes wrong like this survey and are nice enough to give a code to people who rightfully deserve it.
 
I'm trying to think about what to use my $15 code on: Uncharted: Golden Abyss ($15 Excellent), Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus (~$13 Excellent), or something later on before the coupon's 8/31 expiration date. :whistle2:k

Got my $15 code for completing the survey.

Was able to get GOW Origins Collection in excellent condition for $12 after code w/shipping. Not too bad.
 
Got a new e-mail today thanking me for "starting" the survey but not completing it. They included a code for $15 off any phone, tablet, or iPod. I tried it on games/movies and it wont work so I have no use for it as I already have a Droid that holds all my music and apps as well as an Asus Transformer Prime. Code's in the e-mail below for those that wanna try or buy one of those things:

I have absolutely no use for it. Especially by the expiring date. It's only good for phones, tablets, and iPods. I've already tried to use it on games and movies and it won't accept it for them so I posted it to whoever wants to use it on CAG.

Wow, so I tried the code and you are exactly right. You might want to write them, as it appears other peoples are working on everything.

Also, I wrote them explaining how disappointed I was that when I checked my email it had already closed. Worth a try right?

I didn't "complete" the survey to them. Even though I got a 100% complete and answered honestly through it all I got a screen at the end saying the survey had already reached it cap. I already sent in an e-mail expressing my anger in a friendly manner a few days ago and they so nicely gave me a $15 code good for anything on Glyde which I used.

I just got this e-mail today randomly which is supposed to go to the people that didn't complete it fully or didn't get to complete it fully before getting booted. So the way the code is limited is the way it is meant to be. But from everyone else in the thread that said they sent in an e-mail and confirmed getting a code I'm sure you will too.
