Condition of games: "You can find more about the condition of an item by hovering your mouse pointer over the little gray circle with an "i" in it. It's a bit small, I agree, but basically, "Excellent" means the disc, case, and instructions appear almost new and "Good" means the disc may have light scratches from normal wear, but the case may be a little banged up or replaced and it may even be a formal rental. In all cases though, the game must play perfectly".

Has anyone had their referral money show up from all these transactions. I know there is a chance no one used mine, but was curious for the others who know their links have been used if the money has showed up yet?
 
The money shows up like a day after the game's money is put into your account.

The easiest way to make use of the referral system is through Facebook. Not only that, but the person who's buying it from you gets $5 off. So it's like they're saving money so you can gain money. It's almost stupid.

I avidly buy and sell off Glyde all the time. If anybody has any questions, hit me up.

I can tell you at least for me I tried to use yours but it wouldn't let me. But I can't speak for anyone else.
 
Also bought an "Excellent" copy of Mass Effect 3 for the PS3, and I ended up getting a collector's edition steelbox. No complaints from me here.

I'm not sure what's going on here. it looks as is the ambassador $5 discount links were working for current customers and possibly multiple times at that.

Well I meant add a "more" in there. Personally I won't be mad as long as I just get my first order. Ordered 2 in total. I don't think they will though as people will just rage over not being able to take advantage of an error.

Well 6 of my 8 games have been processed, and the seller should receive the shipping kit according to the site.
 
8 of 8 of mine have processed. I guess it's probably too late but WOW giving each order $5 off for the buyer and adding $5 to the ambassador's account.

Not saying it's right but we're cheap ass gamers people will take advantage of a mistake like that right or wrong. Some of the sites programmers should be punished.

Nah that wont work on the ambassador end I bet, its only for signing up a new customer so if the referrals were all applied by current customers then its likely there won't be a reward for that. What a way to start the program though with a gimpy code!

The twitter ones do not actually give the customer the 5 dollars off, only the referrer from what i know.

Looks like they fixed the glitch. Though I was able to get 5$ off on my first order, used it to grab FFXIII for 6.66$, not sure whos referral I used, but thanks! :)

say nothing wrong with taking advantage of a mistake..

but wouldnt be shocked if a company like this or best buy or any other site that finds out this site takes advantage of a mistake would pull ALL ADS off of this site

got to love the fraud talk (yea the best buy 2 buy get 2 free was a glitch) BUT THis said right in the rules NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY so if your an old customer love to hear you try to talk your way out of how this isnt Fraud on this one
 
You can call it fraud, I know I wont lose a wink of sleep over it what so ever.


It's the same as going into a store and let's say there's a game that says $10 but rings up $2 but it's a mistake. Are you going to fight to get it corrected? 95 out of 100 people wouldn't. Secretly people aren't that moral, especially on the internet with porn, piracy etc... It's the store or websites responsibility to have things running properly as far as I'm concerned.

I couldn't count the amount of threads on this website I've seen over the years that are taking advantage of a glitch either online or in a store.
 
Seeing as yesterday was the first time I ever bought something from glyde, I think it's safe to say I took full advantage of my new customership. :p
 
So I just found out about this, tried it with multiple links, and non worked for me. The discount shows up all the way up to checkout, I log in, I hit the buy button and I get an error message saying the coupon is no longer valid. I think I missed out.

It got slower recently, I used to get everything pretty quick. But this last thing it took them a week to ship the shiiping kit to the seller. I ordered a week ago and he's just getting the shipping stuff today. It used to be about a week total. :(

You may find that your item never gets shipped and you have to get a refund. I've had that happen on about 5 orders. Basically the seller pays like $1.25 for the mailer and they lose that amount because Glyde ships it to them but that's the only reprecussion for them to never ship the item.

I am on my 3rd time ordering Castlevania Order of Ecclesia on DS, both the first two orders they never shipped it and I had a $15 coupon code from a Glyde survey that I've had to have Glyde give me a new one each order. Now this 3rd time the seller has received the mailer 2 days ago but hasn't shipped it, so they may or may not ever ship it AGAIN. What's even more amazing is I ordered this game on Ebay before those 3 and it was a fake and I had to return it. I swear I'm cursed from getting this game.

Two main reasons why shipping maybe be slow: A seller could be a great geographical distance away from either the buyer or the Glyde shipping facility (only in CA for now). Glyde is point A to B to C, so if the distance between those points is large, it will take a few extra days.

The second reason is if the seller is just lazy and takes their time putting the item in the mail.

Related, movies are shipped using Media Mail which can be considerably slower at times compared to First Class rate.
 
Another reason I've found the shipping to be slow is the USPS itself. The mail has been coming around here in AL at a snail's pace of late. Course it could be the delay on the seller's part as well. I always try to get the item back out in the mail within 24-48 hours at the latest.
 
For me, the shipping from the buyer to the seller takes about 2 days average for me. The biggest delay is when it takes like 4 days for the mailing kit to arrive from Glyde. That's just my almost consistent experience. Total time for the buyer to receive their item is 7 days.
 
Just snagged Saints Row The Third (good condition, 360) for $7.50 after the $15 off coupon code.

I previously ordered it, but the seller never shipped it for over 2 1/2 weeks, the little bastard. So, Glyde refunded my money, banned the seller, and gave me another $15 off code (which I just used).

Also snagged Thrillville: Off the Rails for $7 shipped in excellent condition. It usually sells for about $20-$25, so I had to snatch it up.

I have had 5 or 6 orders cancelled but I was never given any indication that the seller was banned. Can anyone else confirm this? I don't think that's accurate I think you're assuming this.

My second order with them was the wrong game. Ordered Persona 3 in excellent condition, got sent FES instead. Ended up keeping it and was given a $5 coupon.

My first order was bad too. Ordered a copy of NFS Most Wanted in excellent condition for $12. Got sent the worst looking copy that had rings around the disc. Got the guy kicked off Glyde though and $5 coupon for my troubles.

I still need to use my second $5 towards a third order but with my luck...
 
My first order(new BF3 360) was cancelled within 10 minutes, the seller was charged a seller fee. I was given a $5 code by customer service along with an apology, and they emailed me within minutes of the cancellation, everything is okay no harm no foul. I re-order BF3 in excellent condition, and today it finally arrives with the single player disc only, no multiplayer disc though the case has a spot for a second disc and on top on it the disc that did get shipped looked like it had been cleaned with sandpaper & had giant finger prints on it. I emailed CS but haven't heard back yet but a long story short I think I may not be using this site again to say it nicely LOL ;)
