There was a post on Kotaku last Friday about glyde.com. It's a site dedicated to buying and selling new/used games, movies, cds, and books. For those of you who may be using Goozex, Amazon, or Ebay to buy and sell games, it's another worthwhile option.

They take a 10% + $1.25 commission on the selling side, and charge $3.81 for shipping on the buying side.

It may be a good way to sell games that you're done with, and from what I've seen, you can find recent releases at a pretty low price.

There was also a great post here at CAG, I don't know a year ago, about this very thing. There have been threads following the deals they have had for months now. But thanks for the "news" from Kotaku.

why dont people stop being asses and just tell the OP that there is already a topic about this

There is a topic already for this BUT thanks for the info for people who might of missed it before

because if it stinks like a ad and walks like an ad, it's an ad.

Is that right? Isnt that worse than ebay for most games?

10%? of the selling price? wow...ebay only charges $2.19+3.50% for the remaining amount in a auction listing.

Not that there is any need to be rude, but this stinks like an advertisement, as confoosious pointed out. The user is not active at all on this site, but decided to come on just to post this out of nowhere? Yeah, seems a little fishy.

The fact that the topic line reads so subjectively already stunk up this thread to begin with.

Sorry, I didn't do my homework. Since it was deemed "news" on Kotaku as recently as Friday, I assumed it was a new site.

I'm in no way affiliated with the site. I am just a regular goozexer, and I think I personally prefer this site on the selling side (and buying side for new games). I do see how it sounded like "marketing voice" though..

As far as a compare to Ebay, I think they take 8% if you do a "buy it now" fixed price sale. What I prefer about glyde is that there is no customization/personalization for listings, and you can't post pictures, so it easy to post for lazy people like me. Similarly, they send you a pre-addressed, pre-stamped mailer, which is easier than using ebay.

Anyhow, sorry for the apparently unwanted post. Maybe it helped someone.
