Ironically the funniest moment of tonite's adult swim wasn't even on a comedy program, but rather when Ed accidently groped Siren.
That was a weird episode
Yeah it really didn't advance the storyline at all ofther than to give ED and Al their next destination and so Ed could have another extremely short battle with an alchemist.
The next two episodes advance the story a lot. The episode after them, it won't advance the story really anywhere, besides letting Ed know where someone is, but it's an awesome episode. They've finally reached the part where the story finally starts to pick up.

I'll care when its in Detroit next year. {insert joke about guns and looting here}

Seriously though, im not even sure whos going to be in it, nor do i really care. Its fun to watch, but its just not my cup of tea...i dont even like tea...
probably best to post this when you'll actually see it and get a chance to respond, but have you been to a game at Ford Field yet?
Nope. I've really wanted too, but both chances i've had have fallen apart for different reasons. My uncle helped build some of it though, and some of the pictures he took are amazing.

my car does not want to run right. I think the battery ran out of juice the other day.

Going to wait until someone is home before I make sure that is the problem (lacking a cell phone, I do not want it to die on me when I am on the highway)

I guess that means no class (kind of sucked because I have a quiz in one of my classes today)

My dad helped build The Ballpark in Arlington. His name is on a plaque in the outfield. It was really cool getting to take a tour of it before it was opened for the season

You should go with your uncle if you get a chance, it is pretty cool getting to learn how something like a stadium is built
That is pretty cool. I see you live in Raleigh... do/did you go to State by any chance?
nope, I went to UNCW last year and am going to Wake Tech currently. If I do not move, I would probably end up going to State (my sister goes there, and just about everyone in my family that has grown up in this area has graduated from there)

Ah, cool. I actually went to Georgia Tech, but I have tons of family in NC. I wanted to go to Duke when I was younger but it is too $$$.
Ah, cool. I actually went to Georgia Tech, but I have tons of family in NC. I wanted to go to Duke when I was younger but it is too $$$.
yea it is really expensive.

there was someone at my high school who got a full ride to Chapel Hill and instead decided to go to Duke and not have a full ride

I think it is like 42K a year now or something like that. WF is like 24 K

I forgot to mention, but I still don't like how they respelled her name to that way. It just seemed to make her work better when it was spelled Psiren. I don't see how or why, but it just worked better for me. Made her seem unique and different. I still love that episode if only for the comedy in it. Between the whole groping incident to the repeated number of times she tricks Ed and Al, only to see the building get demolished, it was just freaking hilarious.

Man, I went to University of Delaware and it only costs about 5K a semester in straight tuition. In-state at Florida State is only half ($80 bucks a credit) that. I've come to the conclusion that the money doesn't necessarily mean a better education. Just the name on the diploma. It all depends on the dept.

For example, it's hell to get into Harvard. It cost major major money. And having a Harvard diploma will open doors just because the slip says "Harvard." But I've heard that overall it's not that taxing a university. The hard part is getting in. Once you're in, it's cake.

Half of all graduates from Harvard graduate with A's. 90% with some type of honor. Of course, you have to be intelligent to get into Harvard so that accounts for some of it. But it's abnormal when 90% of you student body averages B's or better.

Of course, different depts have different levels of quality. But it can vary wildly from school to school.

Wow another OTT. I still need to finish the last OTT and the one before that.
I haven't read any in-between the 15th and yesterday, and don't really care much either. just not as big a deal to me as it used to be.
Yaeh me too. I guess it just lost some of its luster. I just got back to this OTT and saw this in recent posts. Also, I have to read about 14 chapters (roughly 200 pages) of my AP history book with notes by Monday. Fun times, fun times I say.
If it makes you feel better I have to do some lame 6 page packet and read catcher in the rye by tuesday, read about 6 entire pages so far.

EDIT: Oh and not to mention I had to get some midterm thing prepared for creative writing, 20% of my grade and present it to the class, completely forgot about it till just now, that's due tomorrow. Hooray for failing courses.
I love the Catcher in the Rye. Great quick and easy book. I think you might like it once you get started into it. I would so much rather read that than my 14 chapters of my AP history book which it is actually not 200 pages but 400 when i checked and counted.

that is fuckin expensive. It was 1600 for a semester of classes at UNCW. Cost of Living was so much more than the tuition

It's a pretty nice stadium, I must say from the 2 games I've got to see there. Oddly enough I had the chance to go tool around in The Ballpark in Arlington just after they built it years ago, but for some reason did not. My dad and Uncle did though, and they thought it was pretty cool. I wanted to wander around at the Target Center when I was in Minnesota a summer ago, but it was all closed up.

Wandering various stadiums could be my new thing. :whistle2:k

I got to wander around the old Tiger stadium when i was an extra on the Hardball movie set. Yep, i was somebody in the crowd, and no, i cant find myself in the movie. Oh well.

Yea I love that ballpark. I spent almost every summer going to at least 15-20 games a year because I lived only 20 minutes from it.

The arena in Raleigh sucks ass. Renunion Arena was built in 1979 and it was far more advanced than the arena here

and now that they are building the new football stadium near the Ballpark it irks me that I moved

Done with most of my classes for today, I just have to do some converting work for Computer Programming concepts before class. I might get around to playing some CoD today if I don't get stuck on CAG or whatever.

Man, I drink milk way too fast, at least faster than I eat the food I get at the grocery store. Every other trip is primarily for milk, pop, and such.

Me too. That's probably my favorite book of all time. Once you get into it, you just can't stop reading, IMO.

Damn, that's awesome. It doesn't matter that you can't pick yourself out of the crowd, just to say you were in it is good enough IMO.

It was interesting. We were there for about 8 hours, starting at 4 P.M. It was mid-feb. it was f'ing cold. I was in just a "crowd" shot, where it was just the camera panning by a certain area, and then i was on the sides of a shot with Keanu talking to those little shits. We also moved down a bit to be in a shot where the kids were waving to Sammy Sosa. Mind you, this was in the old Tiger stadium, they just chnged the seat covers to look like Chicago. it was surreal, but i got $85 and a neat story...and i got to see Neo in person
Man, I drink milk way too fast, at least faster than I eat the food I get at the grocery store. Every other trip is primarily for milk, pop, and such.
Pop?! Whenever I go grocery shopping I always pick up some juice, snacks, and anything else I can't get out of a vending machine.
Pop is soda, i thought only people in pittsburgh said pop.
Pittsburgh? I thought only people in the midwest said "pop."

"Would you like your pop in a sack?"

it's called pop, bitch

there's groups on thefacebook called that... and ones for soda too

personally I like to mix it up, sometimes it's pop, sometimes it's fizzy, carbonated, flavored liquid... ya dig?

Soda...for some reason, i just get angry when people ask for SODA. here, have some Arm & Hammer Jackass.

Of course, any hot women that walk in here will get a very pleasent smile from me if they use the S word...it just rolls of thier tounge so nice

Yeah, well if anybody asks me for "pop" in a "sack" I'll turn them in for an improper solicitation!

I'm trying to play CoD and I can't even get past the intro level, I'm trying to shoot the target with the carbines, but nothing happens. I'm pushing the left mouse button and making sure I'm at the star on the compass. What am I doing wrong?

You may be at the point when you have to use iron sights. Try holding right click to bring up the sights, then fire.

Nevermind, for whatever reason the attack button was unbound in the options menu. I just switched it to the left mouse button and it worked.

I'm from MA and I've never heard anyone around here use the word "pop" to mean soda. Would your roommate happen to be from western MA?

The best episode ever is the one where Homer give up religion.
